ReplyDeleteI love the North and South running..
ReplyDeleteStarting last year - maybe even year before last - helmets are coming off all the time! What gives?
ReplyDeletetate does not seem to buckle his very well
ReplyDeleteFSU scored a TD with :35 left, missed the PAT, then recovered a Perryloo fumble and ran it in for another score, now lead 19-9

ReplyDeleteWe need Points....
ReplyDeleteWe do too..
ReplyDeleteDixon killed us in '07, we can't afford to give him another opportunity.

ReplyDeleteyeah you a gangsta alright
ReplyDeletethat was too funny
LMAO @ Reynolds!!
ReplyDeleteTate and FAH both over 100 yards again.
ReplyDelete479 total yards so far.
Todd 9/22 150 yards. So not the best day from the QB, but no mistakes.
And Kodi can throw the ball with some air under it.
ReplyDeleteLast year he couldn't make that throw.
How much more fun has it been watching these two games than last year? Law ha mercy.
ReplyDeleteQuick observation:
ReplyDeleteAnyone notice how these coaches (Ted Roof, especially) continue to "coach" long after the play is over?
Roof will meet these guys on the field as they're finishing a three and out. Compliments, I'm sure--but also taking advantage of teachable moments.
Very different than the last group.
anybody else's game freeze up lame
ReplyDeleteI noticed that with roof and bates in the 3rd... nice change of pace.... a coach that coaches..
ReplyDeleteThere is SO much that is different. I love it. Reynolds, hope you've had a chance to watch Auburn Football: Every Day -it's awesome
ReplyDeleteWhere is Nick Fairley???
What the hell was that?
ReplyDeleteMonica,
ReplyDeleteI agree completely.
Last year's team never would've recovered from the blocked punt.
No way in the world.
OK the D looks like they are playing sand lot ball
ReplyDeleteNo freezing here, Snow. You watching online or TV?
ReplyDeletepush 'em back, push 'em back...way back
ReplyDeletewill someone remindthe defense that we are still playing the game here
ReplyDeleteGameplan, Monica
ReplyDeletethis QB is wide eyed...
ReplyDeleteGot it back.
ReplyDeleteCRAP
ReplyDeleteI'd really REALLY like a few more Auburn touchdowns.
ReplyDeleteNot to be greedy or anything..
Gameplan here too and no freeze.
ReplyDeleteWhat in the HOLY HELL was that Gatorade commercial about?
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have nightmares for weeks..
No problems here with the telecast.
ReplyDeleteDear Leader - You and me. We're gonna rumble after the game. You better strap up.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how many games we are going to win this year, but it sure seems like AU football is fun again.
ReplyDeleteThis week I've learned during commercial timeouts that I cannot live without a Polaris Ranger RZR and that cows really hate chickens.
ReplyDelete1st team still in, darn it.
ReplyDeleteamen brutha freep
ReplyDeletewe really only have a 1st team
ReplyDelete1st teams and some other dudes that just step in for breather breaks
I think Wanda Sykes is AC's Mama. That would make me love him even more.
ReplyDeleteHe took that cowboy for a ride
ReplyDeleteair it out... send it deep on a flea flicker
ReplyDeleteThe last time AU had 2 100 yard rushers? Last week
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time in history that Auburn has two 100-yard rushers and a 100-yard receiver in the same game.
ReplyDeleteIf there is some way, ANY way we can keep this coaching staff together for three years (at least)...
ReplyDeleteDamn. We could have something amazing on The Plains..
unbelievable!
ReplyDeleteOK, how many of you have really big smiles on your faces right at this moment?
ReplyDeleteitold you they read this blog
ReplyDeleteJGT they will be here... they all have 3 year contracts =0)
ReplyDeleteReynolds - Nobody will agree with me, BUT I believe they will stick together until they win something they think is huge. Maybe that will only take 3 years.
ReplyDeleteHe got in!
ReplyDeleteWAR DAMN KODI!
ReplyDeleteThis is bigger than a smile.....more like nirvana!
ReplyDeleteIf Malzahn keeps this up they will offer him the Notre Dame job at the end of the year... darn it!
ReplyDeleteAnd Jordan with the dunk.
ReplyDeleteGo for 2
ReplyDeleteis CGM Catholic? I know he is a deep christian....
ReplyDeleteNo, he is not Catholic
ReplyDeleteAuburn at 555 yards of offense.
ReplyDeleteHe is definitely not Catholic.
ReplyDeleteWe are 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 times better than we were last year...yes we are!
ReplyDeleteIf Malzahn leaves, I want Dr. Dre as our offensive coordinator.
ReplyDeleteHe's rockin' the Dr. Pepper commercials.

ReplyDeleteNot sure, but I certainly wish our freshmen would get a few catches.

ReplyDeleteMan. A defensive stop here would really be great...
ReplyDeleteThose are 3 of my favorite words, Zteven.
ReplyDeleteonly 74 offensive plays. Malzahn is gonna hit the roof... but not Ted
ReplyDeleteDone.
ReplyDeleteThank YOU, T'Sharvan Bell!!
That is one happy dude
ReplyDeleteNOW its Caudle Time!
ReplyDeleteI think I have a man-crush on CGM.

ReplyDeleteCuadle has forgotten that his mouth gaurd is tucked up in this face mask :p
ReplyDeleteCaudle with the block
ReplyDeletecaudle throws a block
ReplyDeleteZteven I sent you an email. I'm telling you here because I know you rarely check that account.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
we could have 3 100 yard rushers tonight.... ok maybe not
ReplyDeleteT'Sharvan Bell is having an amazing game here according to ESPN.
ReplyDelete5/11 passing for 77 yards, 6 for 43 yards rushing, and 4 receptions for 60 yards, and 6 kickoff returns for 152 yards.
http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?&gameId=292550002&refresh=60
that would have been crazy had he made that catch
ReplyDeleteI don't like that version of the freeze play. QB is going to get killed one of these days.
ReplyDeletegeezz get fannin to 100
ReplyDeleteThat would have been pretty!
ReplyDeleteHere's your fast fact for the day:
ReplyDeleteAU offensive TDs vs MSU, 2009 = 6
AU offensive TDs vs MSU, 2006-2008 = 6
Im gonna do better with the email, Monica. I promise
ReplyDeleteBring on the Mountaineers
ReplyDeleteWOOT! WOOT!
ReplyDeleteI am surprised they did not play up the knox thing on tv...
ReplyDeleteI do not recall seeing him one time.
I am feeling awesome, I feel I could take on that army of dust bunnies now!
ReplyDeleteKnox was in shock. He didnt know receivers were supposed to catch!
ReplyDeletegood night all you JGT groooop-e's
ReplyDeleteThat was kinda ugly. I should delete.... nah. ;)
ReplyDeletedeleter teaser
ReplyDeleteEven better fast fact:
ReplyDeleteAU offensive TDs through first 2 games under Gus Malzahn = 10
AU offensive TDs through entire tenure of Tony Franklin = 10
Someone posted earlier that last years team would have died after the blocked kick, and you are right.
ReplyDeleteHowever last years team would have lost t his game. Being up 14-0 then falling behind 17-14 was almost every game we played last year.
We were 15 yards short of a school record for rushing yards, and this was the first time in school history that we have had 2, hundred yard rushers, in two straight games.
ReplyDeleteKool-aid anyone?
ReplyDeleteJust went back and recounted.
ReplyDeleteWe played 12 games last year and scored a grand total of 18 offensive TDs.
We have scored 10 offensive TDs in our first two games in 2009.
Despite us playing with essentially the same personnel (minus Brad Lester, Tristan Davis, Rod Smith and Chris Slaughter, who accounted for 8 of those 18 TDs in '08).
Damn.
When is the last time we scored 49 against MSU? I can't remember it ever happening.
ReplyDeleteThat record is amazing considering we've had backfields of...
ReplyDeleteWilliams/Brown
Bo/L-Train/Agee
Bo/Agee/Fullwood
Brooks/Andrews
Brooks/Cribbs
Davis/Bostic
War Damn Eagle Hotties. It's official. Tony Franklin is a dumb A. 3 points vs. 48, with the same qb.
ReplyDeleteWe've scored in the 40's against them a lot.
ReplyDeleteI think probably 94 or so we beat them 49-21 or something like that.
If we can make it to 4-0 then there is an 87% chance that we win at least 8 games. The game next week may be one of the biggest of the season.
ReplyDeleteWhere are the complaints about no playmakers on offense? It seems we had them last year. We just didn't use them.
ReplyDeleteWhoops, it was actually 19 TDs in 2008.
ReplyDeleteOf course 3 of those came against 1-AA UT-Martin.
94 41-14
ReplyDelete95 48-20
96 49-15
02 42-14
03 45-13
04 43-14
OK, deep breath.
ReplyDeleteOnly thing we have proven is that we are better than LA Tech and MSU, which we all assumed prior to the season anyway.
One week at a time. Right?
I hate scrolling
ReplyDelete
