Harry Adams out

Hey everyone. Just a quick note to say that, yes, Harry Adams has been dismissed from the Auburn football team.

A trusted Auburn official says it's for a violation of team rules.

Adams was a reserve cornerback who occasionally played in place of Walt McFadden. He was last thrust into duty at Arkansas. Asked about Adams' performance, coach Gene Chizik said: ``Average -- at best."

Auburn now has three (maybe four) scholarship cornerbacks on the roster:

McFadden
Neiko Thorpe
Demond Washington
D'Antoine Hood, who has moonlighted at safety between ankle treatment sessions.

  7. Is there an official paper that has team rules on it that the average fan can see?

  8. Well, the team rule probably is: Do Nothing That Hurts The Program.

So, then, it's up to The Head Coach to determine what hurts and doesn't hurt the program.

For instance, pimp slapping a student in front of a hotel .. and in front of Auburn's Finest ... at 1 a.m. doesn't hurt the program.

  9. War Eagle Girl, the rule most often broken reads as follows:

No player will engage in any activity which could embarrass this team, program, or institution if knowledge of that conduct were to become public, regardless of whether it becomes public or not.

That's probably the exact rule Harry Adams broke.

  11. So who slapped who?

Is this Harry news the so-called big story PF had?

Seem pretty standard fare for a college program trying to manage a bunch of young kids to me.

I don't know, Jay G. I don't think even Jacobs will let it get to 200 losses.
