We watched Tiger Walk from nearby. The lack of a band and cheerleaders didn't dilute the ferocity I expected. There was plenty of Auburn support in the area ... for those who were concerned about that.
I'm headed down to the field now in an attempt to see Eddie Gran.
Talk to you in a bit.
v
ReplyDeleteGO AUBURN!!! BEAT THE vols!!!
ReplyDeleteWar Eagle!
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear from you JayGT!
ReplyDeleteYep. I'm ready for the game. LET'S GO, AUBURN!!!
ReplyDeletelol @ my "Did Jay make it up there?" post occuring at the same time as the new thread.
ReplyDeleteI'm channeling my inner-Junior Rosegreen in hopes we pick off Crompton many, many times.
Gran. Booooooooooo!
ReplyDeleteWAR DAMN TIGER WALK!!!
ReplyDeleteBEAT THE VOLS!
I like Eddie Gran
ReplyDeleteEddie Gran.......respected by most all SEC coaches......and reviled by coach wannabes.
ReplyDeleteThe dawgs are done.
ReplyDeleteI'm a wannabe. So what? WDE!
ReplyDeleteWe all wannabe something :)
ReplyDeleteOh my! I'm excited about this game. I hope the team is ready to go! Let's go Tigers!
ReplyDeleteHoopie,
ReplyDeleteMaybe not quite done
TD Georgia
ReplyDeleteCan't believe Joe Cox had that in him.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that was unsportsmanlike
ReplyDeleteI think they are taking this not celebrating thing too far - they're kids for pete's sake!
ReplyDeletethat penalty was a joke. Either way, I've blown another pick'em choice.
ReplyDeleteNicely done UGA. Wow, LSU is not top 5.
ReplyDeleteIf Mark Richt would enforce discipline. he has the best athletes in the SEC and could compete for championships every year. DUI's and grades cause undue attrition and penalties hurt in the games.....every year.
ReplyDeleteWell, Hoopie, maybe they are done :(
ReplyDeleteOmg that was the same cheerleader from 2005.
ReplyDeleteI officiated high school football for six years ... that was a pathetic call.
ReplyDeleteUGA screwed themselves
ReplyDeleteWould luv to take credit for being clairvoyant, but.....no way
ReplyDeleteI have seen some celebrations that were unsportsmanlike, those were not
ReplyDeleteOops- take back my nicely done to UGA. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteWhat is with these penalties? Crazy. I'm writing a letter.
ReplyDeleteI had LSU in the pick'em until about 24 hours ago.
ReplyDeleteI also changed one of tonight's games; hopefully things will even out.
Just got a text the PPL is dressed for Auburn
ReplyDeleteThe officiating is uglier than Ruth Buzzi in a bikini.
ReplyDeleteJet..that visual = throwup
ReplyDeleteThe officiating determined this game. That's not what it's supposed to do.
ReplyDeleteI'm rooting for PPL. The guy made a mistake and I'm hoping he can come back
ReplyDeleteUh oh...gotta run out for provisions....poor planning on our part.
ReplyDelete45 minutes
ReplyDeleteJust ate some ice cream in preparation
NHL Center Ice is free through Oct 24. Penguins vs Islanders starting now.
ReplyDeleteGO PENS!!!!!!!!
Lucky Irish about to score in the last minute to beat UW :-(
Cincy,
ReplyDeleteAre you in Auburn tonight?
No, in Birmingham
ReplyDeleteI didn't go down.
ReplyDeleteI started watching UGA/LSU and decided to just do that instead.
already pacing
ReplyDeleteJay,
ReplyDeleteWhat did you think about celebration penalties?
Les Miles is the luckiest guy ever!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the condo deal.
ReplyDeleteThanks, wish they would call so I could just be nervous about one thing
ReplyDeleteLSU is becoming the master of pulling games out of their you-know-what.
ReplyDeleteI think that celebration penalties should be celebrated.
ReplyDeleteHey Hotties...I'm pumped for tonights game...feels like the first big game this year. I thought the WV game would be but no..this is it...SEC D!...on the road!...let's DWWD Tigers!...WAR EAGLE!!!
ReplyDeletePeter,
ReplyDeleteYou can only do that so long before it comes back to bite you in that thing you are pulling them out of
may catch heat for it but Eddie Gran- OVERRATED. subpar special teams (for most of the years) with splashes of brilliance here and there. Glad to see him leave. War Eagle and lets kick @$$
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI swear, LSU is channeling the Irish... They are not a top 5 team. I am no sure they are even a top 10 team.
ReplyDeleteCalm down Cincy. A good game of cornhole will help your nerves. I think that if your counter offer is even close that in today's market, you have purchased a condo.
ReplyDeleteI bet les miles eats boogers
ReplyDeleteBut didn't he also coach RBs? He did pretty well with them.
ReplyDeleteHey Hotties...I'm pumped for tonights game...feels like the first big game this year. I thought the WV game would be but no..this is it...SEC D!...on the road!...let's DWWD Tigers!...WAR EAGLE!!!
ReplyDeleteLes Miles is a boob...he just won another game by accident...I don't like the guy...going for it on 4th down when you can take a 2 possesion lead..I mean REALLY!! ...what a boob...
ReplyDeletewhen you say RB's aren't our running backs good this year? I think that position is more about "instinct". We've alway had great RB's other than the Rusty Williams/Demontray Carter years. I'm sure Eddie is a great guy I had no use for him b/c of our subpar special teams most of the years.
ReplyDeleteand by special teams i'm not happy with them this year either.
ReplyDeleteOk, CM, I bow to your evaluation. I guess I really like him more because of all he went through with his little girl. I tend to think more from an emotional position than a logical one. Or so my hubby tells me.
ReplyDeletebut is anyone better than LSU? seems like alot of teams playing at about the same level with UF, Bammer and Texas being a notch above the rest- THUS FAR. Hope we look sharp tonight
ReplyDeleteI got a lot of respect of Eddie Gran..he's coached some of the best RB's this decade..he was good for AU best of luck to him...except tonight...
ReplyDeleteWar Eagle from Section GG at Neyland.
ReplyDeletePPL dressed out. Punt returner??????
If Tebow plays next week UF destroys LSU.
ReplyDeleteChiz just said Isom is not there.
ReplyDeleteI liked Eddie Gran for his recruiting, and I don't have any complaints about his special teams or running back coaching. And Sydney was a beautiful daughter.
ReplyDeleteI just looked at my picks. I am extremely regular - win, lose, win, lose, win, lose, win, lose
ReplyDeletei always hated seeing him and Tubs high five on a good play and smirking and then the special teams goof it up and they show a sideline shot he's nowhere to be found. Other than Tim Carter early on and late in there run our special teams were MEDIOCRE. Our kickers for sure have been hit and miss but i hate seeing coverage teams not prepared.
ReplyDeleteCincy,
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like being regular.
was anyone on that old staff a good recruiter the last 4 years? we owned our biggest rival for 6 years and we went undefeated in 04 and they couldn't "real them in" with 4 first round NFL picks. They got lazy and quit recruiting. Look at our depth now. WAKE UP AMERICA. I loved Tubs but they fell asleep at the wheel. I just love these guys b/c they are at least FULLY committed.
ReplyDeleteCool. Kristina and Kirby (Earl) arejust two rows behind me.
ReplyDeleteCraig ...
ReplyDeleteI don't disagree with you, but let's save the 47th rerun of that argument for later.
Hi Eddie, Tell Kristina and Earl that Mr/MrsTHT say hello.
ReplyDeleteI am confused Jet, I thought that was the 49th rerun.
ReplyDelete10-4. Lets talk about making Al Davis look like a smart man tonight (for a change)
ReplyDeleteEduardo ...
ReplyDeleteSpew some popcorn on Kristina ... she loves it ... and we win when that happens, too!
Isn't our star popcorn spewer in Knoxvegas?
ReplyDeleteCraig, our ST play was outstanding in 2004.
ReplyDeleteHaving a first round pick returning punts helped, of course. But we were pretty good on coverage as well. And Vaughn had his best season that year.
That said, we had good KR returns and excellent punting last year, but nothing else.
I spewed popcorn on my wife at a movie theatre once.
ReplyDeleteUh oh.
ReplyDeletePlease move away from the dead horse.
PUCK DROPPED. GO PENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is crazy.
ReplyDeleteIsom not there? Not good. Not good at all.
UW & ND in OT
ReplyDeleteJ-Z ...
ReplyDeleteYou better get your Orville Redenbacher hind parts to where Kristina is and give her a blast of Movie Butter!
SCMALZ , who beat UT in '71!!!
ReplyDeleteI'd pistol whip my wife for a WIN tonight. KIDDING
ReplyDeleteYou can't count on J-Z for anything.
ReplyDeleteo rats, now I'm dropping consonants, too. Tat one fell under the ottoman were I can't get it.
ReplyDeleteI put up a new main pic.
ReplyDeleteIt's good. Full moon over this place right now.
Somebody talk to me....tell me it's gonna be fine!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hate it when I get this way,
This may sound crazy but I kinda like being under the radar...just need to fly high at the right time...and I guess this would be it!
Full Moon?
ReplyDeleteSomeone cover Darvin Adams before he turns into a werewolf thing.
It's time to shine, Missinit!
ReplyDeleteWhat's done in the dark will be shone in the light.
Let's go get 'em.
gorgeous moon; I hope it shines on the Tigers tonight.
ReplyDeleteND gets TD in OT
For those wanting to listen online, try one of these stations.
ReplyDeletemissinit
ReplyDeleteI'm talking to you. It's going to be fine.
Sincerely, Aeronaut
It will shown, too.
ReplyDeleteND beat UW in OT 37-30
ReplyDeleteI know, missinit, I feel like someone needs to talk me down off the edge
ReplyDeleteNotre Dame wins.
ReplyDeleteLocker threw to the wrong guy. Deep guy was wide open.
On an unrelated note, I'm really torn over the GT-MSU game tonight.
ReplyDeleteThe only two schools I care deeply about other than AU facing off against one another. It's a win-win, but also a lose-lose.
Whichever QB plays the smartest wins this one.
ReplyDeleteI do not care for Charlie Weis one bit.
ReplyDeleteIn the SEC, the refs would've thrown flags all over the place. Two ND defenders take out a defenseless reciever in the air helmet-to-helmet and knock him out cold. In the old days, that's football. ND apparently hires old school refs.
ReplyDeleteWar Eagle Reader has video from the "no Tiger walk".
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ND refs were there all game. ND's two point conversion to get 3 point lead with a minute to go wasn't good at all, and wasn't even reviewed.
ReplyDeletelinkage?
ReplyDeleteAubie - don't tempt me! I can't attend/watch Tiger Walks :-(
ReplyDeleteSorry,
ReplyDeleteit is here:
http://www.thewareaglereader.com/2009/10/no-tiger-walk-tiger-walk-fresh-from-knoxville/
ND top 5 offense in the country; Clausen the top QB in the country? At least I think that's what he said through all the spittle.
ReplyDeleteEddins is starting.
ReplyDeleteThanks Aero....I needed that!
ReplyDeleteHoltz loves Notre Dame Koolaid!
