Welcome to Neyland Stadium

Hey everyone. I have arrived at Neyland Stadium, where your Auburn Tigers soon will face off against the Tennessee Volunteers.

We watched Tiger Walk from nearby. The lack of a band and cheerleaders didn't dilute the ferocity I expected. There was plenty of Auburn support in the area ... for those who were concerned about that.

I'm headed down to the field now in an attempt to see Eddie Gran.

Talk to you in a bit.

Can't believe Joe Cox had that in him.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I don't think that was unsportsmanlike

    ReplyDelete
  14. I think they are taking this not celebrating thing too far - they're kids for pete's sake!

    ReplyDelete
  15. that penalty was a joke. Either way, I've blown another pick'em choice.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Nicely done UGA. Wow, LSU is not top 5.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Anonymous5:53 PM

If Mark Richt would enforce discipline. he has the best athletes in the SEC and could compete for championships every year. DUI's and grades cause undue attrition and penalties hurt in the games.....every year.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Well, Hoopie, maybe they are done :(

    ReplyDelete
  19. Omg that was the same cheerleader from 2005.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I officiated high school football for six years ... that was a pathetic call.

    ReplyDelete
  21. UGA screwed themselves

    ReplyDelete
  22. Anonymous5:56 PM

Would luv to take credit for being clairvoyant, but.....no way

    ReplyDelete
  23. I have seen some celebrations that were unsportsmanlike, those were not

    ReplyDelete
  24. Oops- take back my nicely done to UGA. Yikes!

    ReplyDelete
  25. What is with these penalties? Crazy. I'm writing a letter.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I had LSU in the pick'em until about 24 hours ago.

I also changed one of tonight's games; hopefully things will even out.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Just got a text the PPL is dressed for Auburn

    ReplyDelete
  28. The officiating is uglier than Ruth Buzzi in a bikini.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Anonymous5:59 PM

    Jet..that visual = throwup

    ReplyDelete
  30. The officiating determined this game. That's not what it's supposed to do.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Anonymous6:00 PM

I'm rooting for PPL. The guy made a mistake and I'm hoping he can come back

    ReplyDelete
  32. Anonymous6:01 PM

Uh oh...gotta run out for provisions....poor planning on our part.

    ReplyDelete
  33. 45 minutes

Just ate some ice cream in preparation

    ReplyDelete
  34. NHL Center Ice is free through Oct 24. Penguins vs Islanders starting now.

    GO PENS!!!!!!!!

Lucky Irish about to score in the last minute to beat UW :-(

    ReplyDelete
  35. Cincy,

    Are you in Auburn tonight?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I didn't go down.

I started watching UGA/LSU and decided to just do that instead.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Jay,
What did you think about celebration penalties?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Les Miles is the luckiest guy ever!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Good luck on the condo deal.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Thanks, wish they would call so I could just be nervous about one thing

    ReplyDelete
  41. LSU is becoming the master of pulling games out of their you-know-what.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I think that celebration penalties should be celebrated.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Hey Hotties...I'm pumped for tonights game...feels like the first big game this year. I thought the WV game would be but no..this is it...SEC D!...on the road!...let's DWWD Tigers!...WAR EAGLE!!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Peter,
You can only do that so long before it comes back to bite you in that thing you are pulling them out of

    ReplyDelete
  45. may catch heat for it but Eddie Gran- OVERRATED. subpar special teams (for most of the years) with splashes of brilliance here and there. Glad to see him leave. War Eagle and lets kick @$$

  47. I swear, LSU is channeling the Irish... They are not a top 5 team. I am no sure they are even a top 10 team.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Calm down Cincy. A good game of cornhole will help your nerves. I think that if your counter offer is even close that in today's market, you have purchased a condo.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I bet les miles eats boogers

    ReplyDelete
  50. But didn't he also coach RBs? He did pretty well with them.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Hey Hotties...I'm pumped for tonights game...feels like the first big game this year. I thought the WV game would be but no..this is it...SEC D!...on the road!...let's DWWD Tigers!...WAR EAGLE!!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Les Miles is a boob...he just won another game by accident...I don't like the guy...going for it on 4th down when you can take a 2 possesion lead..I mean REALLY!! ...what a boob...

    ReplyDelete
  53. when you say RB's aren't our running backs good this year? I think that position is more about "instinct". We've alway had great RB's other than the Rusty Williams/Demontray Carter years. I'm sure Eddie is a great guy I had no use for him b/c of our subpar special teams most of the years.

    ReplyDelete
  54. and by special teams i'm not happy with them this year either.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Ok, CM, I bow to your evaluation. I guess I really like him more because of all he went through with his little girl. I tend to think more from an emotional position than a logical one. Or so my hubby tells me.

    ReplyDelete
  56. but is anyone better than LSU? seems like alot of teams playing at about the same level with UF, Bammer and Texas being a notch above the rest- THUS FAR. Hope we look sharp tonight

    ReplyDelete
  57. I got a lot of respect of Eddie Gran..he's coached some of the best RB's this decade..he was good for AU best of luck to him...except tonight...

    ReplyDelete
  58. War Eagle from Section GG at Neyland.

    PPL dressed out. Punt returner??????

    ReplyDelete
  59. If Tebow plays next week UF destroys LSU.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Chiz just said Isom is not there.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I liked Eddie Gran for his recruiting, and I don't have any complaints about his special teams or running back coaching. And Sydney was a beautiful daughter.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I just looked at my picks. I am extremely regular - win, lose, win, lose, win, lose, win, lose

    ReplyDelete
  63. i always hated seeing him and Tubs high five on a good play and smirking and then the special teams goof it up and they show a sideline shot he's nowhere to be found. Other than Tim Carter early on and late in there run our special teams were MEDIOCRE. Our kickers for sure have been hit and miss but i hate seeing coverage teams not prepared.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Cincy,

    There's nothing like being regular.

    ReplyDelete
  65. was anyone on that old staff a good recruiter the last 4 years? we owned our biggest rival for 6 years and we went undefeated in 04 and they couldn't "real them in" with 4 first round NFL picks. They got lazy and quit recruiting. Look at our depth now. WAKE UP AMERICA. I loved Tubs but they fell asleep at the wheel. I just love these guys b/c they are at least FULLY committed.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Cool. Kristina and Kirby (Earl) arejust two rows behind me.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Craig ...

I don't disagree with you, but let's save the 47th rerun of that argument for later.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Hi Eddie, Tell Kristina and Earl that Mr/MrsTHT say hello.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I am confused Jet, I thought that was the 49th rerun.

    ReplyDelete
  70. 10-4. Lets talk about making Al Davis look like a smart man tonight (for a change)

    ReplyDelete
  71. Eduardo ...

Spew some popcorn on Kristina ... she loves it ... and we win when that happens, too!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Isn't our star popcorn spewer in Knoxvegas?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Craig, our ST play was outstanding in 2004.

Having a first round pick returning punts helped, of course. But we were pretty good on coverage as well. And Vaughn had his best season that year.

That said, we had good KR returns and excellent punting last year, but nothing else.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I spewed popcorn on my wife at a movie theatre once.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Uh oh.

Please move away from the dead horse.

    ReplyDelete
  76. PUCK DROPPED. GO PENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  77. This is crazy.

Isom not there? Not good. Not good at all.

    ReplyDelete
  78. J-Z ...

You better get your Orville Redenbacher hind parts to where Kristina is and give her a blast of Movie Butter!

    ReplyDelete
  79. SCMALZ , who beat UT in '71!!!

    ReplyDelete
  80. I'd pistol whip my wife for a WIN tonight. KIDDING

    ReplyDelete
  81. You can't count on J-Z for anything.

    ReplyDelete
  82. o rats, now I'm dropping consonants, too. Tat one fell under the ottoman were I can't get it.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I put up a new main pic.

It's good. Full moon over this place right now.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Somebody talk to me....tell me it's gonna be fine!!!!

I hate it when I get this way,

This may sound crazy but I kinda like being under the radar...just need to fly high at the right time...and I guess this would be it!

    ReplyDelete
  85. Full Moon?

Someone cover Darvin Adams before he turns into a werewolf thing.

    ReplyDelete
  86. It's time to shine, Missinit!

What's done in the dark will be shone in the light.

    Let's go get 'em.

    ReplyDelete
  87. gorgeous moon; I hope it shines on the Tigers tonight.

    ND gets TD in OT

    ReplyDelete
  88. For those wanting to listen online, try one of these stations.

    ReplyDelete
  89. missinit

I'm talking to you. It's going to be fine.

    Sincerely, Aeronaut

    ReplyDelete
  90. It will shown, too.

    ReplyDelete
  91. ND beat UW in OT 37-30

    ReplyDelete
  92. I know, missinit, I feel like someone needs to talk me down off the edge

    ReplyDelete
  93. Notre Dame wins.

Locker threw to the wrong guy. Deep guy was wide open.

    ReplyDelete
  94. On an unrelated note, I'm really torn over the GT-MSU game tonight.

The only two schools I care deeply about other than AU facing off against one another. It's a win-win, but also a lose-lose.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Whichever QB plays the smartest wins this one.

    ReplyDelete
  96. I do not care for Charlie Weis one bit.

    ReplyDelete
  97. In the SEC, the refs would've thrown flags all over the place. Two ND defenders take out a defenseless reciever in the air helmet-to-helmet and knock him out cold. In the old days, that's football. ND apparently hires old school refs.

    ReplyDelete
  98. War Eagle Reader has video from the "no Tiger walk".
    Awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  99. ND refs were there all game. ND's two point conversion to get 3 point lead with a minute to go wasn't good at all, and wasn't even reviewed.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Aubie - don't tempt me! I can't attend/watch Tiger Walks :-(

    ReplyDelete
  101. Sorry,
    it is here:

    ReplyDelete
  102. ND top 5 offense in the country; Clausen the top QB in the country? At least I think that's what he said through all the spittle.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Thanks Aero....I needed that!

    Holtz loves Notre Dame Koolaid!

    ReplyDelete
  104. stevefc

    ReplyDelete
  107. Erin Andrews ... ah.

    ReplyDelete
