Why not write more?
I'll take a few minutes each afternoon (pre-Outback Bowl) to pontificate on some Auburn topic. It'll be freestyle, stream-of-consciousness stuff.
So on that note...
It's pretty amazing that Auburn is here. Not just because the Outback Bowl is supposed to feature an Eastern Division team. Or that the Tigers somehow found a way to become the most alluring of the Southeastern Conference's 7-5 teams.
That stuff doesn't have much to do with the football team. It's chance. It's opportunity. It's administrative ingenuity.
What I'll always remember about this team is its uniformity. Gene Chizik rolled into town last year talking about blueprints, plans, codes. It seemed trite. Every new coach says what he has to say. Appeasing the fans, winning the press conference, is everyone's goal.
He won the press conference that day, but not because he tried.
Chizik was honest. He had a plan. He coached at Auburn during its best days in 2004. He then jumped to Texas and coached there during some of that program's best days in 2005. He was at the pinnacle.
Then he went to Iowa State. Things there didn't go well. We know that.
Still, those struggles have given him insight that's equally valuable. Chizik was able to contrast what went well at Auburn and Texas with what failed at Iowa State. It's clear that he's a quick learner.
Chizik's plan, developed while he was at Iowa State, is working well at Auburn. The Tigers are recruiting well, they're competitive despite having significant personnel shortages and they're consistent.
The head coach wants to perfect the simple things first: The five-yard hitch route. Defending an inside-zone run. Communicating plays effectively from sideline to huddle. That's what the 2009 season was about: Getting the simple things correct.
Expectations will grow ahead of the 2010 opener. The team should be better. It'll be interesting to see how Chizik adapts the team as experience and confidence build through the spring and summer. Auburn should become a more complicated enterprise.
Managing that development will be his toughest challenge yet.
I wish I was in Tampa!
ReplyDeleteSo are we about to hear a Tebow interview on the halftime show?
ReplyDeleteTearful Tebow rejoicing in his coach's recovery?
ReplyDeleteDo you guys think Tebow healed Meyer?
ReplyDeleteYour stream is a lot better than mine, JGT. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI like the freestyling JGT. By the way JGT, I think your buddy is right and you should check out Winghouse.
ReplyDeletewikki wik wikki wik wik freestylin'
ReplyDeleteIs there going to be a Hottie get-together with JGT before the game?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, what's the temp in Tampa?
ReplyDeleteI suggest to each of you to check out Pat Forde's column on ESPN.com.
ReplyDeleteFamily Man Urban goes to practice in Gainesville, listens to U2's "With or Without You" on the iPod, calls Jeremy Foley, restructures the plan for a leave of absence, tells the team, and then sometime after that prior to the news conference in New Orleans manages to tell his family that he's not done coaching after all -- that he's just taking a leave of absence.
With them in the audience, he says in his gut he knows he'll be on the sideline next fall.
Looks like it will be partly cloudy, windy, high of 64 on gameday in Tampa.
ReplyDeleteGreat job JGT. I like that free stylin thing.
ReplyDeleteWould you say it is kinda like what John Wooden would do before each season to teach his kids the basics (how to put on socks, how oto put on shoes, etc.) and make sure they get that right before you move on. Wooden always said ihe did that becasue if a player got a blister, he was no good to him. Can you imagine sitting Walton, Jabbar, wilkes, et al, down and showing how to put on socks properly?
WTC - what does your mom know about Cam Newton? There are rumblings...
ReplyDeleteJet:
ReplyDeleteI have not heard anything on Newton since about a week ago. MSU fans are saying he is coming there, but no word from anyone yet. My freinds at AU still think he is coming to AU.
My mom hasn't either.
ReplyDeleteI am near Bristol, FLl and it is 38 outside.
ReplyDeleteIn Tampa, a little colder than I expected. Bowl week festivities really get underway tomorrow with both bands performing at busch gardens
ReplyDeleteJet, read Forde's column. That whole situation is odd.
ReplyDeletewe've got 38, heading down to 26 before daybreak. 2.0 and MrsTHT are at a movie. When they get back around 9:30, 2.0 and I will go outside and finish the paint job or our HABOTN placards.
ReplyDeleteTHT, post a picture of the placards for those of us who can't travel to Tampa.
ReplyDeleteTHT, please and thank you!
ReplyDeleteJet-Norm:
ReplyDeleteJust talked to mom. She had some interesting things to say. do you want to know?
Don't know about Jet-Norm, wtc, but I want to know!
ReplyDeleteTHT-saw Sherlock Holmes Saturday night. Good flicka show.
ReplyDeleteTA&M's special team have been awful, to say the least.
ReplyDeleteLooks like MSU went on an after Christmas shopping spree and got themselves a 5* QB. (Jet your FB message seems to correct). I give credit to Jet for that quote.
ReplyDeleteElTurbo just gave me a belated birthday gift ... a Howard Schnellenberger bobblehead!
ReplyDeleteEddie's Express train has more problems than what most know about. He may be back, but I was told there were seceral problems he has to overcome.
ReplyDeletewtc, no Cam and maybe no Tyrik?
ReplyDeleteMoseley can handle it. Perhaps Trotter.
ReplyDeleteAt least Gus knows what he has with time to work the plan.
ReplyDeleteWe're going to try Golden Orchid for lunch on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteWe are thinking about trying Thai Terrace for dinner that evening, but we're open to suggestions.
Roy's is not open on New Year's Eve. We will eat there after hockey on Saturday.
Jay, I do think Chizik's biggest test will come over the next couple of season. He did an incredible job of selecting a staff that has worked amazingly well together, but it would be easy to see several of these coaches moving on. Maintaining a program is much more difficult than early success. After the new wears off is when the real test begins.
ReplyDeleteI do think Auburn has a shot of being a contender for the West this next season. It is an even number year, which means an easier schedule. We will have a very experienced offensive line. I expect a lot of these star receivers to blossom. If we find a playmaker at QB, we could be in for a very good season. That is a huge if, but Cam Newton could make it a lot more likely.
If no Cam and no Tyrik, the QB picture changes dramatically. I like what the coaches have had to say about Moseley and Trotter, but they haven't proven anything in a game yet. Caudle hasn't really played enough to make a call on him, but I am far from confident in him. Should Cam and Tyrik be no goes, Kodi could find his way back in the QB competition.
ReplyDeleteMy sources think Rollinson will be back. (60/40) He is in the doghouse now and LOTS of work to get out.
ReplyDeleteDogs having a tough time geting a TD
ReplyDeleteI don't believe Kodi ever plays another down at QB for Auburn.
ReplyDeleteSorry TD
ReplyDeleteKodi maybe Aubie next year. He WILL NOT be QB at AU, ever.
ReplyDeleteIf I had a dollar for everytime I've seen Georgia throw a pass inside the 5 for a touchdown, I'd have a boatload of money.
ReplyDeleteTyrik will be back.
ReplyDeleteGEorgia's offense not looking good but they are in control for now. Long way to go so anything can happen.
ReplyDeleteI think he comes back, but may still be in the doghouse come springtime.
ReplyDeleteKodi isn't a great or even good QB, but if you look at Caudle, Moseley, Trotter; it wouldn't be hard to see him competing. Caudle is the only guy with experience. Trotter and Moseley weren't exactly highly regarded, although the coaches are apparently liking what they have seen. Crazier things have happened. With Tyrik in the mix, I really can't see them going the Kodi route.
ReplyDeleteSteve, craxy things do happen, but never that crazy. When 3 OC's somehow let you know you are not QB material, you couls assume you will never take another snap at AU.
ReplyDeletewtc, I hope that you are right. Being in the dog house isn't necessarily bad. It beats doing something so bad he is kicked off the team. Surely he will be cautious after he has seen how the Chiz deals with trouble. I hope this is just a case of a young kid having some growing pains.
ReplyDeleteWhich 3 OC's? That comment seems more appropriate to Caudle.
ReplyDeleteBorges, Franklin, Malzahn.
ReplyDeleteI guess you could say Borges and Franklin didn't want to go with Kodi, because that is the impression that I had.
ReplyDeleteBorges and Franklin both played Kodi, and Borges did it while we still had Cox, a true QB. Are you saying that Tuberville pushed that?
ReplyDeleteIn terms of QBs I would characterize Caudle as getting the biggest no from coordinators, while Kodi provided proof on the field that he really isn't the QB he was made out to be.
ReplyDeleteI seem to remember that Leach didn't get along with the AD at Texas Tech. There was some conflict there that I read about long ago. Does anyone remember that?
ReplyDeleteW/O getting into toomuch of it, yes, Kodi was Tubb's guy all the way. I think Tubbs wanted to play him A LOT.
ReplyDeleteBut we are on to others now. Our future is in front of us.
Mike Leach is, put simply, an idiot. Putting a player in a darkened closet isn't particularly intelligent. When the player's father is an analyst on ESPN, the word's gonna get out.
ReplyDeleteJust sayin'.
If it was to get him out of the light because of headaches, I guess it could make sense somehow. My guess is that Leach is gone.
ReplyDeleteMy hockey plans fell through and my fellow oldies (Charles Goldberg and Phillip Marshall) are still working.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it's Chipotle Grill ... since it's next door.
Thanks wtc, that was my impression and I do believe Franklin mentioned that at times. It is almost like someone was going by the stars rather than the performance.
ReplyDelete2.0 loves Chipotle. If they are open on New Year's I can imagine us making a quick run through the drive thru at end of Capitol One Bowl. Don't want to miss any of the Rose Bowl.
ReplyDeletewe would have gone to see the Lightning & Bruins with you, JGT.
Boy, Ron Franklin has fallen off the ESPN radar ... his reward for a job well done are bowl trips to
ReplyDeleteShreveport and Memphis ... perhaps he can get a trip to Birmingham in there, too.
SEC even in the Bowls thanks to Georgia.
ReplyDeleteT A&M has run 92 plays and scored only 20 points. Running a lot of plays don't equate to wins or lots of points
ReplyDeleteHope Leach has his boots on,looks like he might have stepped into some deep ssssssss.....
ReplyDeleteI picked Georgia to win, but I wasn't very confident about it. I am pretty impressed at how well they did with a make shift defensive coaching staff.
ReplyDeleteGreat free stylin' Jay. enjoyed it.
ReplyDeletePardon my ignorance but who is this guy doing the game with Franklin tonight? More specifically, where has he been a coach? He made a remark early in the game to the effect 'in my coaching experience, which is vast...' Seemed odd to me.
ReplyDeleteI was pleased with Kentucky's performance, even though they went down. Clemson was in the running for the ACC title. Kentucky is middle of the pack SEC.
ReplyDeleteGa did do well on defense without their DC and others, but by this time of the year things should be pretty well set. Surely someone can call the plays on defense.
ReplyDeleteMy quote reference to Ed Cunningham above is not precise but give me a break, I was playing Hot Wheels with the future 4* at the time.
ReplyDeleteI'm selfish. There's only enough ice cream for my bowl. So if Molly gets hers, I get less. She sleeps a lot, a WHOLE lot. For an hour I've been waiting for her to go to sleep. She's been laying on her comforter (with heating pad) for about 45 minutes but won't go to sleep! She's got her head up and is constantly staring in my direction.
ReplyDeleteMolly wins.
Rotten dog.
Ed Cunningham, according to his bio, lists no coaching experience. He played on the University of Washington team that won the 1991 title, then spent 5 years in the league as an offensive linemen. He's lost a bunch of a weight to become a broadcaster.
ReplyDeleteHot Wheels are awesome.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad we didn't end up in Shreveport. A Monday game played at 5:00. That isn't exactly impressive.
ReplyDeleteI suspect N'diaye is to Senegal what Smith is to U.S., but does anyone know if Rutgers' Hamady Ndiaye is related to Mamadou?
ReplyDeleteJet - I saw that bio too, guess I misheard the quote. Maybe he said 'my experience with coaches...' that'd be different. Oh well, onto more important matters.
ReplyDeleteHot Wheels. We gots a whole lots of 'em in dis here house. I think for the boys birthday next month we'll actually get some of the tracks to put them on. Sure, some may say he's too young for such things at 3 next but I don't care. I'll enjoy playing with them.
It's never too early to lay some Hot Wheels track.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteso JayGT - how was your Chipotle dinner?
ReplyDeleteNorm,
ReplyDeleteI heard him say the same thing. Maybe he was just being sarcastic?
North Carolina hoops should throw away these throwback unis.
ReplyDeletethey are struggling tonight, Jet. So it's the unis? Maybe it's because they are only semi-throwback. The throwback gods are punishing them for pseudo-throwbacks. The real thing would have those horrible short shorts.
ReplyDeleteCincy - if you heard it too, then I guess I didn't hear it incorrectly. Since at the time my attention was primarily on crashing Hot Wheel cars into each other, I wasn't even sure who it was that was speaking. So I was trying to remember where he coached when I saw him. Since I've now looked him up on Al Gore's Intertubes, then I guess it was indeed a sarcastic remark.
ReplyDeleteok, the girls are back. That means 2.0 and I are headed out into the cold dark night to paint the HABOTN placards. We're ooohh so close. I hope someone will step up to the plate.
ReplyDeletethe latter comments were in relation to the thread count, not the placards.
ReplyDeleteI feel for you THT but I can't reach you way over there in Tar Hill country.
ReplyDeleteWe can't
ReplyDeletelet THT
ReplyDeletedown!
ReplyDeleteBeasley!!
ReplyDeletewell, we've decided we can do it tomorrow afternoon, and they'll still dry in plenty of time. We're too tired tonight.
ReplyDeleteSo, let's get this done!
Good on Chipotle.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had my own bottle of Tabasco, though. Those burritos demand some spice.
holy cow! y'all are awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, THT, that was a lot of pressure. I was afraid I would screw it up.
ReplyDeleteI love Chipotle. They have the best guacamole if you aren't making your own. And I LOVE their lime chips.
ReplyDeleteby "y'all" I obviously mean Cincytiger!
ReplyDeleteNicely done!!!
BTW, we had that pork tenderloin wrapped in prosciutto with the pears & sweet potatoes last night, along with asparagus, rice blend, salad, green beans. And bread onto which I applied a generous coating of McCutcheon's Apple Butter. It was sooooooooooo good!!!
Burritos without spice is like eating stuffed wasp nest.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to eat after my dr's appointment tomorrow. I have been starving myself (well, starving is a little exaggerated) since Saturday so I can stand to get on the scales tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWe are going to see Blindside tomorrow and eat at Sweet Bones Alabama. It probably isn't up to this group's bbq standards, but they have awesome shrimp and grits.
ReplyDeletecincy watch those doctor's scales they are loaded to make you feel bad.
ReplyDeleteTHT what time are you getting into Tampa. It will be 5:30 or 6:00 ET for me. Would like to get with you and others if possible Thurs night.
ReplyDeleteHi digger - we'll be arriving about 10 a.m. on Thursday. Maybe we can get together for dinner?
ReplyDeleteyea! JGT's Chipotle is open on New Year's Day. That will make 2.0 happy. And THTjr and I will be happy since it will be real quick and we won't miss hardly any football.
ReplyDeleteHow are all the Hotties doing on this fine night?
ReplyDeletesleepy and full and tired, FSJ.
ReplyDeleteTHT dinner would be great if we can make connections.
ReplyDeleteFSJ why did you let it get so cold here? Dang!
Good night hotties catch you tomorrow
ReplyDeleteGood night, digger. Check your email.

ReplyDeleteI do get a kick out of it when Dear Leader's friends come on here to post.
ReplyDeleteToo bad the Stewardess is not home tonight ... she's a big fan of the Uggs.
ReplyDeleteso, JGT. Are you in that tall Embassy Suites?
ReplyDeleteSomething about chicks in boots....
ReplyDeleteim here
ReplyDeleteHAG! I was just about to ask where you were with commentary on Favre.
ReplyDeleteit's the cat's meow!
ReplyDeleteSo, wtc reported earlier that Cam was probably MS bound. Is this a for sure? Do we still have any chance? I thought he was "on cloud nine" after his AU visit?
ReplyDeleteChipotle didn't have enough tobasco bottles for you to take one to the table? I've never encountered that problem. That place turned me on to the green jalepeno tobasco. It compliments the cheese and steak pretty well...
ReplyDelete...if tobasco wasn't available, they're hot salsa has some kick. I should've been there for you, man.
Cincy-It is not a done deal, but my sources seem to think it is. They also don't really know what skill set he brings to AU that the others don't already have. They think he does not throw the ball very well. He is big and strong but may not be able to get the ball down field.
ReplyDeleteAlot of MSU fans say he is going there. For some reason his dad seems to want him to go there. If I recall, his dad did not visit AU. I think he did visit MSU. He seemed to be smitten by Mullen.
ReplyDeleteWe should know by Friday if we get him though or sooner.
ReplyDeleteI like Mike Leach a lot. He's pretty much a genius. Who else knew that a couple of hours in a dark electrical closet would cure concussion symptoms? Plus, he really likes pirates, and pirates are pretty neat.
ReplyDeleteThanks, wtc.
ReplyDeleteHoly Upset Batman!
ReplyDeleteFirst my Bucs over the Saints, then NYJ of Indy, now Chicago is leading Minn. geez.
I wish I could have been watching the Bucs game.
Tylerson loves that green tabasco. Too hot for me. Just give me guacamole and lime chips. I only like the mild salsa, but it is great, so fresh.
ReplyDeletePeter, how are all the last minute wedding plans? Did the candy arrive?
the thread is dead, but the Vikings are not
ReplyDeleteSo WTC. What about Adams? We get him or not, and when. Regarding Cameron, I'm not sure we aren't better off without him. I think he muddies the water a bit. Haven't heard that he is a great passer either, but that he wanted to improve that aspect of his game. Doesn't sound like the guy we need, regardless of stars. I'd rather have another Defensive Tackle.
ReplyDeleteCincy, they may be dead now
ReplyDeleteIf I were the Vikings offense, I'd be pissed.
ReplyDeleteSpurrier says Meyer needs some outside interests. Maybe Meyer should call Tubby. Tubby could teach him how to Turkey hunt.
ReplyDeleteSpurrier has one outside interest. He's the guy who should be talking?
ReplyDeleteThis is a pretty good game. Time for free football - unless the Vikings let the Bears run it back again.
ReplyDeleteTuberville seemed to have a bunch of outside interests...(golf, hunting, BBQ)
ReplyDeletePerhaps Meyer should talk to him.
If that doesn't work he could talk to Mike Dubose and Mike Price. They had some outside interests too..
Devin Aromashodu is looking pretty good
ReplyDeleteYes, he is.
ReplyDeleteKickers.
Aromashadu has more yards tonight than he has had all season, or more than he had in his career coming into the season.
ReplyDeleteFavre took a nasty hit there.
ReplyDeleteI would hate for my son to be a kicker
ReplyDeletehow can any American dislike Brett Freaking Favre?
ReplyDeleteMark Anderson is a bammer beast.
ReplyDeleteMy son wouldn't want to be a kicker because he wouldn't get to hit enough people. He's a rough one.
ReplyDeleteAnybody ever been to Soldier Field?
ReplyDeleteThat's on my list of places to see a game....
Peterson just coughed up the game.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember who it was for but there was a college kicker who would just look to hit people after kicking off. Everytime you would see him charging down field. He made some tackles and it wasn't because the returner got past everyone else. He just charged down field and made the tackle. He was beastly.
ReplyDeleteI think I am glad my son played baseball and soccer and we missed football. He was rough enough playing soccer - a concussion, broken foot, and cracked ribs among other injuries - I can't imagine football.
ReplyDeleteboooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo peterson
ReplyDeleteJanikowski?
ReplyDeleteDevin wins the game!
ReplyDeleteD.A. had himself a career night.
ReplyDeleteBut thankfully hasn't ever gotten into trouble like Janikowski
ReplyDeleteMy son I mean
ReplyDeletearomashudoooooooooooooo
ReplyDeleteNo it wasn't Janikowski, although I was a big fan of his in his days at FSU. He wasn't an overly big guy, just really enjoyed contact I guess.
ReplyDeleteOK, that was weird, I think I combined a couple of different conversations :)
ReplyDeleteJay Feely?
ReplyDeleteThat's it for me folks. Football's off and The Hunt for Red October is on. Late night tv for me since I'm not "officially" working this week. Catch you all later.
ReplyDeleteNight all. Long day today.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a problem based on what the press says that Leach has done.
ReplyDeleteIf there is more to it and extenuating, heinous details are released, I will change my mind.
Tuberville to TTU haha
ReplyDeleteCincy, my last minute plans are staying the heck out of the way and playing as much golf as I can get away with...need to remember sunblock, though.
ReplyDeleteCandy still trapped in transit. It won't make it.
SteveFC,
ReplyDeleteAny good quarterback discussions lately? Who are the scholarship QBs again?
We need about 5 more Scholarship QB's and then we can unveil the 11 QB formation where everyone that touches the ball is a threat to throw it deep.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Hotties! Off to the dr this morning :( And then I am going to EAT!!
ReplyDeletePeter, sounds like a good plan. My hubby's philosophy when our daughter married was "put up, shut up and show up." He stayed out of everything except paying! Have fun playing golf! Only a couple of days to go.
Morning y'all! I get to go home at 12:30 today...YIPPEE!!!
ReplyDeleteWARRRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!
GO TIGERS!!!
PF - get some birdies today
Cincy - you can join 2.0, THTjr, and me at Sutton's Drug Store for lunch.
morning. i was sick all nite but i'm trying to make it through today. good work as usual JG.
ReplyDeleteScottie- Go home and relax!
ReplyDeletei wish i could eddie. all my other guys took vacation this week. without me this place wouldn't operate.
ReplyDeletesigh.
That sucks Scottie. Hang in there and make it thru the day.
ReplyDeleteMornin', Hotties!
ReplyDeleteAnother cold one in "the Gumry."
Eddie, personally I like the idea of a 11 qb formation. That truly would be innovative.
I thought briefly that we might make it to the Outback Bowl, but, alas, our holiday trip to gator country was two weeks early due to scheduling problems with the youngest in my family. For those of you there, stand and sing for us all.
Good Morning Hotties..
ReplyDeleteHope you get to feeling better soon scottie.
Scottie, I hope you get to feeling better soon.
ReplyDeletethanks hotties. i'm doing my best.
ReplyDeleteLet's see, at work today and yesterday I have started watching Arrested Development. On Episode 8 right now. Pretty good show so far. Things you do when you are bored and stuck at work.
ReplyDeleteScottie,
ReplyDeleteI am late getting on the board today and won't be here long, but I am sorry to hear that you are feeling bad. Please take care of yourself. I am hoping that you don't have the flu.
IV
WaaaaaHooooo!!!!
ReplyDeleteGetting close to time to leave for Tampa via Hotlanta. Gonna meet some new Hotties and have a good time. Look out Tampa the old man is on his way. I love your freestying Jay. If I were a writer, that would be the kind of prose I would like to be doing.
Just got back from the doc ... apparently I set some records.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteJet,
ReplyDeleteI hope that you are not talking about setting records for high blood pressure, high blood glucose count or anything like that. Leave that to us old men.
THT,
ReplyDeleteI sure wished I could join you and the kids for lunch today, but I just don't think that I could get there in time. Sounds good though. I hope that you enjoy both lunch and the company. You about ready to go?
blood sample looked like cheese whiz?
ReplyDeleteLOL..
ReplyDeletewtc that is so wrong.

ReplyDeleteOkay, I am out of here for awhile. Looks like I killed the thread anyhow. Gotta get in an hours walk, go get my truck washed, pick up a prescription, come back home and get things ready to go and just finish my trip prep. If anyone is on I-85 or I-75 on Thursday and comes across a silver Chevy Silverado with 3 good looking guys in it , honk and yell WAR EAGLE. we will have AU magnets on the truck and it will have an Auburn tag with CLH IV on it. You can't miss us.
ReplyDeleteHave a safe trip IV....

ReplyDeleteYou bet Faker and Thanks.
ReplyDeleteWTC ...
ReplyDeleteI'm not into processed cheese product. Unless it comes in a can ... with ... well, forget it.
Where's Norm? Gettin' kinda close. Plus, I want his review of "The Hunt for Red October."
ReplyDeletewestern omelette for breakfast..
ReplyDeleteNice...
Did someone mention Easy Cheese?
ReplyDeleteEasy Cheese and a Slim Jim will take you a long way in life.
ReplyDeleteanother 90 minutes til freedom.
ReplyDeleteScottie B - get yourself some potato soup or chicken noodle soup. I hope you are back to your normal self real soon.
Potato soup sounds good, and it's only 10 o'clock. I think I'm in for a long morning.
ReplyDeleteScrew that Scottie B. Get yourself some Old Crow, some peppermint, peyote, a Vicodin and some Thorazine to take the edge off.
ReplyDeleteWhere's Choco Scottie when I need to talk smack?
ReplyDeleteWonder if Easy Cheese would be good with a side of bacon?
ReplyDeletethanks for all the suggestions. my wife brought me Chick-Fil-A for lunch. that should help.
ReplyDeletethe idea of any Old Crow right now makes my stomach even more icky. i'll stick to the Powerade J-Z. ;)
so....who's gonna flip this thing? a bammer? come on hotties!
ReplyDeletei may be sick, .....
ReplyDeleteI
ReplyDeletebut i can flip it!
ReplyDelete
