Players are en route

Hey everyone. Though the magic of Twitter, we know that Auburn players have been making their way to Tampa today.

Guard Byron Isom used his travel stipend to buy a first-class ticket from Atlanta to Tampa. He arrived this morning.

Wideout Terrell Zachery (and a few others) bummed a ride with tight end Gabe McKenzie. They drove through Tallahassee and arrived in Tampa around 2:30 p.m. CST.

Walt McFadden drove north from his pad in Pompano, Fla. He arrived around 3:30.

The Tigers still are arriving at the Hyatt Regency. The players' first official function is tonight when they're invited to attend a Tampa Bay Lightning game. Auburn begins practice tomorrow around 10:15 a.m.

SCHEDULE NOTE: The HABOTN Reporting Team will be making its way toward Tampa on Sunday.

  4. Thanks for the answer. Will Jeff Lebo make it through the end of the season?

  5. We are having a family debate. We are trying to find the number of a former Auburn walk-on from circa 1991. His name was Chad Mullenberg (think we have the spelling right) Think 1991 was his senior year. Debating if he wore the number 43 or 44. Appreciate the help.

  6. WTC ...

I'll guess that Auburn announces immediately prior to the SEC Tournament that Lebo has "resigned."

Jacobs needs to get an early start on the search, like Jan 1.

  9. Norm, I concur. And I hope that your fine family had a most enjoyable Christmas.

NoVa, I presume the background checks will begin soon, if they haven't already.

  10. I hate that he has not been able to win. Unfortunately, his best recruiting class is coming in next year.

Several has posted here before, but how does a coach that shot lights out at the free throw line even allow those that can't hit free throws play.

  16. Does Longshore open the AM show with a comment about how UAT drove him from coaching or how Tebow leaving made him think it was timeto leave?

I will make certain I do not listen to their show again this week.

Found out from my daughter. ESPN posted it at 6:52 pm EST.

UM will coach the Sugar Bowl and says he will remain in Gainesville and a part of UF.
