Radio Appearance Forthcoming

Hey everyone. I will be participating in my weekly segment on SuperSport 930 out of Jackson, Miss., in a bit. That extravaganza will begin around 9:07 a.m. CST.

We will discuss Auburn ... and other stuff.

Be there or be rectangular.

  1. Beat the buzzer with Substance?

    ReplyDelete
  2. Great substance, Eddie!

    ReplyDelete
  3. well done, Eddie.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I would like to think Twitter with the extra hand of notice :)

    ReplyDelete
  5. HAAATTTTTEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  6. I don't know about Tepid...I danced a gig when Gene Chizik was hired!

    ReplyDelete
  7. So I have to repost it from the previous thread.

I am looking for some advice. Does anyone here have an MBA degree? I can get into one of the best business schools however it costs... a lot. Would the investment be worth it? I wanted to work on my PhD (Free ride) but MBA sounds a little more tempting (better pay, 2 years, lesser work).

If so, what should I study in my spare time to help me get in and out?

    ReplyDelete
  8. HABOTN twitter > every other twitter out there Eddie. every single one.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Get the MBA...it's worth it. Study hard for the GMAT...pay attention and do all the reading the first semester to get you back in the business wheelhouse. You'll be ok.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Aero,

I put my response in the previous thread. It probably wasn't too helpful though as it's been over a decade since I did all that.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Jay G with the soccer analogy...woot!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Jay knows all about the pwnage...his kill count on MW2 proves this.

    ReplyDelete
  13. OK, I didn't get a twitter, so I didn't set something up correctly. Will have to worry about that later I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I was trying to talk Auburn.

I don't think they're all that interested, which is fine. I know about other stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Krootin'-

Vic Beasley, Ahmad Dixon and Markeith Ambles may visit NEXT weekend and possibly...James Stone. It's all about that last spot.

Lattimore may or may not be able to visit in an unofficial capacity this weekend.

    Targets Visiting other Schools:
    T. Reed is @ LSU
    B. Jones is @ Arkansas
    J. Whitaker is @ UGA

    ReplyDelete
  16. Morning "Hotties" and you too Michael.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I have heard that the coaches told Stone that we don't have space for him. I also don't think we are after Dixon at all unless all of our plans fall through. I don't see that happening

    ReplyDelete
  18. I think you're right, CH. But these guys are being mentioned as plans D, E and F.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The Freddie Mercury to the thick mustache in the late 70s didn't clue Jay G in on his preference?

    ReplyDelete
  20. I completely agree with Jay G on the overrated British bands. Oasis = post grunge mediocrity. They had one album that was decent. Clash = meh...Morrisey and the Smiths are for emo fanboys.

    ReplyDelete
  21. If Howard believes his future is at RB (with Clemson) I'd love to get Dixon into this class. We need us some DBs!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Also from a close friend who is a walmartian, UA is a little worried about losing Kennan Allen. He has a brother that is a QB for Buffalo and just got his release papers. He is going to visit NC State, Cal and one other shcool. The word is that Kennan is going to visit those schools with him and may follow him.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I think we have several backup plans. I don't think there will be a need though. If something does happen I think we won't take a full class.

    ReplyDelete
  24. "I wake up every morning. I've got 10 fingers and 10 toes. Life is good."

    -JGT

    ReplyDelete
  25. Oh, and some primo defensive tackles, please. And a Red Rider BB Gun.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Good segment...added a nice bright spot to my Friday morning here at Coke Central.

By the way, check out the "Open Happiness" video over at YouTube.

    ReplyDelete
  27. You'll shoot your eye out.

    ReplyDelete
  28. RK: I was like 8 when "Another One Bites The Dust" hit the airwaves. I thought the buttless chaps were helping with the ladies.

    I was eight!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Sorry I missed the campfire but did catch the radio show.
You guys lost me on the music review until you got to dueling banjos but then you got back to the trash.

    ReplyDelete
  30. And, due to this morning's radio affirmation, I now can say that I hooked up with a stripper!

(I hooked up with her at 13, she became a stripper years later)

Yeah, I'm putting a long tail on that kite ...

    ReplyDelete
  31. don't blame you JG. gotta take 'em where you can get 'em.

so, i'm guessing you're a fan of that pop song "I'm in love with a stripper..."?

    ReplyDelete
  32. We probably need to talk more about Auburn ... since I'm the Auburn writer.

It's not my show, though, and I rather enjoy just freestylin' with the boys.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Also want to say: Vanderbilt guard Merideth Marsh is on the All-HABOTN basketball team.

I like her style. Aggressive without being mean. Firm but fair.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Strippers? Did you talk about panties too? "The panties your mother used to wear."

    ReplyDelete
  35. Lost to Vandy again. I think it would have been a win if KeKe had not pulled a hamstring. Maybe it will be better next year.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Jay G, it's the offseason, you talked about krootin' but nothing official for another 2 weeks. Lebo is still coaching MBB so you know what's happening there...WBB is in rebuilding mode. It is what it is.

    ReplyDelete
  37. It is what it is.

On the upside, I'll be reporting LIVE from Duncan, S.C., when Lattimore makes his decision a week from Tuesday.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Good point, at eight I guess it's ok not to catch onto that.

I was 4 or 5 when "Another One Bites the Dust" came out, but I wasn't exposed to Queen until Wayne's World, so I was in high school and it was obvious.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Sounds good, anything to do in Duncan besides visit the Methodist Church?

    ReplyDelete
  40. I won't be in Duncan very long!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Duncan does not have a Catholic Church in case you find a need for Confession.
    Just saying

    ReplyDelete
  42. Gotta be back to cover NSD, I suppose.

    ReplyDelete
  43. dealing with incompetent workers and having no authority over them is frustrating. I may need to go shoot a cat this evening.

Just kidding, all you cat lovers.

Comm'r - would you settle for a Johnny 7 OMA?

    ReplyDelete
  44. So do you have an ice cream hookup in Duncan?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Greetings ... I'm about to check out of my hotel in Orlando en route to East Vaughngumpery.

Good trip. Hopefully a productive one for the people. Flooded here last night. The grounds crew is pumping water out of the bunkers on the golf course right outside my window.

Take care ... I'll check on Los Calientes later.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Have a safe trip Jet

    ReplyDelete
  47. A quick Google scan reveals a local place in Duncan called Ashley's Ice Cream Parlor...sounds like if Jay makes a visit he will have to do confession twice.

    ReplyDelete
  48. JG, are you going to deliver Lattimore a HABOTN tee in person once he makes his decision?

    ReplyDelete
  49. THT, I feel your pain with the whole incompetent worker thing.

    ReplyDelete
  50. My walmartian buddy also says that there are strong rumors going around that Auburn may still another player from them. No direct mention of who that could be.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Scottie: Only if he's a HOTTIE.

We have a few player enthusiasts. Won't say who.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Do any of these enthusiasts post?

    ReplyDelete
  53. i figured somebody's gotta be reading your stuff. naturally i would be interested in somebody blogging about me and my squad. cool. so, should i wear my HABOTN tee to fan day this year? i'll see who give me a Trooper chest bump!

    ReplyDelete
  54. CHB: I don't understand the crouton rumor. Is your fantasy avatar typing it for you?

    ReplyDelete
  55. Sorry Comm'r I'm trying to work and post at the same time. The post should have said that we might steal another player from the walmartians.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Sorry Comm'r I'm trying to work and post at the same time. The post should have said that we might steal another player from the walmartians.

    ReplyDelete
  57. CH...
We've been pretty disappointed in your performance recently. If you don't pick it up we're gonna have to make some changes.

    ReplyDelete
  58. CH=B

Corey Brant is the only CH commit that has shown lots of interest in us, maybe we could us him as a slot back.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Luper interview coming up now on WJOX.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Auburn guy with some classic side girls:

    http://www.thewareaglereader.com/2010/01/war-drobe-eagle-cannonball-run-1981/

    ReplyDelete
  61. You can listen to the Luper interview here:

    http://roundtableradio.com/listen-live.php

    ReplyDelete
  62. what did I miss in the early minutes

    ReplyDelete
  63. Who's that kid from Opelika that visited AU like 18 times and committed to UAT? Is that Corey Grant? Could it be him?

    ReplyDelete
  64. I like Looper a lot. He said there would be some commits by next Wed. He hasn't been wrong yet and he is the lead recruiter. He also hinted that we are going to get what we want.

    ReplyDelete
  65. ehyou, can I use the HABOTN as an excuse in my next performance review?

    ReplyDelete
  66. CCL said that Newton reminded them of a young D. McNabb.

CGC is the recruiter of the year for putting together this staff.

I think Looper is a class act and hope to have him around for a long time.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Nothing like posting to yourself. Now If you see me start posting myself questions...please call for help.

    ReplyDelete
  68. My local paper produced an article today talking about how Lebo's job was safe, despite the results.

Don't know what to think of that.

FYI, the writer of this article is an Auburn grad.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Back from lunch for a brief stint...what's everyone doin?

    ReplyDelete
  70. Hmmmm, Jay G. heading to Duncan is interesting. I assume that means that you like our chances, Jay. I mean, I am sure you aren't anxious to write a story about us losing a cruit to the cocks.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Look for two big commits by next Wednesday. I'm just sayin'.

You will have to wait for names.

    ReplyDelete
  72. well, it won't be Lemonier or Lattimore. I'll go with the DTs.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Whitaker and Jones by next Wed. and then Latt and Lemonier signing day eve.

    ReplyDelete
  74. It's a riddle from wtc.

Two 'big' commits, as in big guys.

I'm with THT, they're the DTs

    ReplyDelete
  75. Corey Grant is an RB.

Dyer, DJ, Lattimore... and Auburn backed off of Seastrunk. I don't think Auburn would try to get Grant.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Lebo safe? I assume that means security has been beefed up.

    ReplyDelete
  77. You do know Seastrunk is set to announce next Wednesday, right?

    ReplyDelete
  78. They have pulled a woman out of the rubble in Haiti 10 days after the earthquake. That is pretty amazing.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Seastrunk would be a shocker.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Lebo is safe ... as a doughnut between me and Ehyou.

    ReplyDelete
  81. 2 big commits coming down the pike

    gotta love it

    ReplyDelete
  82. buddy, it wouldn't stand a chance

    ReplyDelete
  83. good point, wtc. Yes, i was aware of that.

    ReplyDelete
  84. i've been working too hard. i need a vacation. :(

    ReplyDelete
  85. depends on if it's Krispy Kreme or just a donut. Someone offered me a dunkin donut this morning. I'm not sure if my expression was heavier weighted with disgust or disdain. I'm not heavier weighted since I turned it down.

    ReplyDelete
  86. REcall the Seastrunk video at the BigCat weekend. He said where he signed would shock a lot of people. Recall what he said to Saban, on tape?

Now if he winds up at U of Memphis, that would be a shock.

    ReplyDelete
  87. y'all hotties have a great afternoon. Regretfully, I must concentrate on work for the next 4 or 5 hours :-(

    ReplyDelete
  88. It is amazing how recruiting winds change. Last summer I thought we had the best chance at Seastrunk, with Dyer second, and Lattimore third. Things have changed.

    ReplyDelete
  89. LS is going to Oregon.

    ReplyDelete
  90. wtc with the misdirection.

    I'm not falling for it.

    :)

    ReplyDelete
  91. i guess a Lache & a Duck would go well together, eh? sorry, lame attempt at humor. whew.

    ReplyDelete
  92. I'm all for giving a guy a chance but...

we been fishing a while with nary a bite, looks like it's time to cut some bait

    ReplyDelete
  93. Knoxville newspaper reports Layla was the driving force in Lane's decision to leave for USC.

"We never fit in here," Layla is quote. "They never liked us. They were trying to get rid of us from the moment we got here.

"Everyday I went shopping and in front of every store on signs and painted in the parking lot was "Fire Lane."

    ReplyDelete
  94. So, is an enthuiast the same as a lurker?

    ReplyDelete
  95. Hmmm, interesting Jet. I didn't realize that the Fire Kiffikin movement had gained steam. Oh, I think it was going to happen, but I figured he would be around about 4 or 5 years first.

    ReplyDelete
  96. It was a joke Steve from Lubbock.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Where is PF when we need him?

    ReplyDelete
  98. that's funnier than the joke

    ReplyDelete
  99. Up tight and out of sight Scott Choc.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Thanks IV. That would have still been flying over my head.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I am getting dizzy trying to think about all of these croots. I never thought I would see the day. Just saying. Jay, I wished I could go to Duncan with you.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Hang with me Steve, we are going to get through this together, right?

    ReplyDelete
  103. Man, Duncan is just a 100 miles from me, but that is far outside my 5 mile traveling radius.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Why do you have only a 5 mile travel radius Steve?

    ReplyDelete
  105. I don't travel well.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I have had medical issues that make it very difficult to do long trips for about 5 years now.

    ReplyDelete
  107. He keeps getting tickets when he parks by the "Fire Lane" signs.

    ReplyDelete
  108. He rides a unicycle everywhere he goes... going farther than 5 miles is very.

    ReplyDelete
  109. should say very tiring

    ReplyDelete
  110. Obama is having a town hall meeting now. Rumors say he comes out for jobs today. Got to love it when a politician is willing to take a stand.

    ReplyDelete
  111. I truly am sorry that you have medical issues Steve. I have a few myself, but thank goodness I could travel at least to the Outback Bowl and have a chance to meet some nice Hotties, see Jay again and see Scott, he of chocolate fame, for the first time in over 20 years.

    ReplyDelete
  112. IV, it isn't a big deal. There are people with much larger problems than mine. We all have issues. We just deal with them. In a lot of ways I am luckier than most.

    ReplyDelete
  113. i'd say all us hotties are lucky since we have auburn in our hearts. except for FSJ. may god have mercy on his soul.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I like your attitude Steve, matches my way of seeing things about my health. There are many, many more with stronger issues facing them than those that I have, but you need to go to Duncan to see Jay. It might do you some good and you could represent all of us Hotties.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I am out for a spell. Gotta do my hour walk in order to keep my ability to travel to bowl games and such.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Wish I could, IV. But it wouldn't be a good idea.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Aero, if you are still reading HABOTN, go for your MBA. I got my MBA from Mercer in their Executive MBA program, and I loved the experience! Beyond that, my Mercer cohorts and professors have been great at advising me on business issues beyond graduation. Obviously, I am singing the praise of my grad school alma mater, but I hear that Auburn has a great MBA program as well. Study hard for the GMAt, and go out to MBA.com for further information. Hope this helps!

    ReplyDelete
  118. Could it be a DT and a DB that AU get REAL soon?

    ReplyDelete
  119. Had a small adventure this morning. I work with bank owned properties, which are obviously vacant. Me and my dad were going to a house for the first time that was supposed to be vacant. When we came in there was a half drank bottle of Hennessey on the ground, so I hollered out to make sure no one was there. Went up stairs and there was a mattress with a change of clothes on the floor. So I figured some one had been staying there. Checked all of the rooms and closets to make sure no one was there. My dad was walking around taking pictures, he opened the door to a linen closet in a bathroom and there was a big man hiding in it. I heard a big thud and he came running out telling me to get out of the house. I guess I should have checked for closets in the bathrooms as well. We watched the guy leave through the back door and he looked pretty stressed out. We put all of his stuff outside and he came and got everything but the mattress.

The good news is we discovered my Dad's ticker is still strong without going to the doctor... as freaked as he was he would have dropped dead from a heart attack if it wasn't.

    ReplyDelete
  120. wow, that's nuts Wake. glad yall are ok. that's going to make for a great bar/party story for years to come!

    ReplyDelete
  121. Jay I am happy to hear that at least some of the players read your blog. We say things to them but who knows if they ever know it.

Jet, I hope you cousin's, husband's sidegirl knows what she is talking about on Lebo and he is history.
I wonder if going to Duncan, SC is anything like going to Resume Speed, Al

    ReplyDelete
  122. Scary story, Wake. But the guy was just probably homeless. I don't blame people in situations like that for doing what they have got to do. It doesn't make it right, but I can't say I wouldn't do the same think in their situation.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Aero, Gaines is correct you should get your MBA. Auburn has a really good Executive MBA program. I am getting some info on it now. I have what was a called a Micro MBA from The Buffalo School of Management, but I want to get the real thing. Auburn's program allows you get your MBA online. You do have to spend 1 wk a semester in Auburn and there is a 2wk study abroad stint in there. Your tuition covers the trip.

    ReplyDelete
  124. I had assumed that players didn't read blogs like this. No knock on Jay, but I would expect coaches to discourage it.

    ReplyDelete
  125. [in singsong] hey michael, wake knows where you can find some drifters

    ReplyDelete
  126. Coaches probably do discourage reading blogs and forums due to all that goes on with most of them.
But it doesn't suprise me too much that some do it anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Steve, yeah I agree. We aren't sure but we think it might be one of the people who were just kicked out two days ago. They had been renting it when it had gone into Forclosure, and had lived there for a month after the electricity was turned off. So they probably didn't have many other options.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Scary story and in a way a very sad one. Not much can be done other than what is already being done in most cities. There are a lot of folks hurting out there and can only thank God for not letting me be one in such need.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Thank you Gaines, Seanze and RK.

Gaines, Circumstances dictate that I move to Canada after completion of my job here. Ivey and Rotman are both top 50 globally however the tuition is a $75K.

It is a pretty hefty investment. 2 years (lost wages, time, effort) and $100K. I already have a masters. what kind of ROI should I expect.

And what should be the specialization area for an Engineer?

    ReplyDelete
  130. IV, in case I haven't said this before, it was great to see you at the OB Bowl, as well. Sorry we didn't get to chat for a bit. My timing wasn't so good.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Gaines, when were you at Mercer? That is also my Alma-mater.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Aero, have you looked at Thunderbird? (The school, not the wine). I have my MBA from there. With your international experience, it might be a good fit.

    T-bird School of Global Mgt

    ReplyDelete
  133. The economy seems to be taking another big hit. The stock market is down another 100+ points today for the third day in a row. This is looking pretty bad. It is hard to see the U.S. job market improving any time soon, which is terribly sad. There are way too many people out of work and the political climate isn't helping at all.

    ReplyDelete
  134. aero...
You should talk to some folks in your field that have done it. Generally speaking, more education is a good thing. Whether it makes sense financially for your situation may speak different.

    ReplyDelete
  135. If anyone else has questions they would like an ambiguous answer to, I'll be here all day.

    ReplyDelete
  136. International is definitely a plus. The business environment is changing with China becoming the economic center of the world. India is also becoming much stronger. Dealing with the overseas businesses would seem to me like the way to go, but I am definitely not a management type. A lot of my investments are now headed overseas, though.

    ReplyDelete
  137. 5-10% correction here in late Jan. then slow but steady climb to new highs by next Jan. So predicted in December in the only newsletter I read on the subject. I'm not a stock guru person.

    ReplyDelete
  138. THT, I hope you are right. I am far from a guru, myself. I have spent the last 2 or 3 years learning about investing, but only started heavily investing over the last year.

    ReplyDelete
  139. ehyou - you are cracking me up today.

Speaking of funny, I read earlier on AJC.com some dude had commented late last year about UGA DC Willie Martinez, "If Willie is still here next year I'm going to need a bigger TV cause our DBs aren't on my screen."

    ReplyDelete
  140. UGA will be one of the interesting teams next season. If they can come up with a solid defense, they might be in the mix in the east. I am thinking someone other than Florida will win the east next year, but we will have to see. Florida has tons of talent.

    ReplyDelete
  141. I'm concerned about the effect the Dallas Cowboys loss may have on our efforts to land Whitaker. The new DC will be heavily courting Whitaker this weekend. However Mommawtc has told me not to worry.

I'm also concerned that I've got work piling up and I'm posting on HABOTN.

    ReplyDelete
  142. UGA was a very inconsistent team this last season. If I were a recruit, I would think Auburn would be much more attractive. The 2009 Tigers were much better than their record indicated. Depth is easier to fix than talent, and we had the talent.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Crazy day at work had the HABOTN up since 8 but by the time I would get caught up reading everything we would get busy. Thats a good thing in sales but the bad news is no one can buy YET. Just a busy and crazy day

    ReplyDelete
  144. Waker

That was some funny stuff glad ya'll are ok

    ReplyDelete
  145. This "correction" is getting pretty ugly. Volume is up, which tends to mean an agreement in the direction.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Wooo, Australian Open sound is working :P, sure its recorded from last night, but at least there's finally no delay, wooo.

    ReplyDelete
  147. SteveIL: UGA will be hurting at the QB position next year. The fans were hard on Cox, but forget he was a 5th year guy and all that time was in Richt's program. He may not have played that much, but he was experienced nonetheless.

Even if they have a good defense, I expect them to struggle in 2010. The SEC is hard on young and inexperienced QBs.

    ReplyDelete
  148. LSU's Chavis got a $250,000-per-year raise out of UGA interest/offer. Wonder how much Smart got from Walmartians?

    ReplyDelete
  149. Byron, what's been your problem with the Aussie Open sound?

I've been watching hours upon hours of coverage so far, and I've yet to experience any sound issues.

    ReplyDelete
  150. But the guy was just probably homeless.

    Probably?

    ReplyDelete
  151. Hey PF!

E-Bro - sound off sync with video by about 2 seconds, on more than one of our TVs. Probably our crappy TWC.

    ReplyDelete
  152. This from the AJC re Mike Thornton:

Earlier this week it was reported by some Alabama media outlets that Thornton had eliminated Auburn (probably because he canceled his visit to The Plains last weekend). Not true, he said.

“No, no, no,” he said. “I still talk to them down there. I haven’t eliminated Auburn. Auburn is still a contender on my list.”

He also said his decision is not interdependent on what Jeff Whitaker decides. Auburn and Georgia are both after the big defensive tackle from Warner Robins. “No, not at all,” Thornton said. “I love competition. I know Jeff. It’d be fun if he and I came to the same school. Who knows?”

    ReplyDelete
  153. Thanks Comm'r. It sounds like some of the stuff I read about Thornton was wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Sucks THT.

Hopefully the problem has been fixed for the rest of the tournament.

    ReplyDelete
  155. The first couple days it was fine, but then suddenly it was awful.

The rivals board is near riot wating for the next War Room :P

    ReplyDelete
  156. PF, I certainly wouldn't call it likely that he was just homeless.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Anyone see the Not Top 10 on Sportscenter? #4 was an AU basketball player that went up for a dunk and managed to give himself a faceplant :(

    ReplyDelete
  158. Yo, bigdaddy, what kind of sales?

    Comm'r of Side Girls said...
LSU's Chavis got a $250,000-per-year raise out of UGA interest/offer. Wonder how much Smart got from Walmartians?

  162. That is creepy, LGG

  163. While that bed warming service might make sense in a warped kind of way, it would seriously creep me out.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Nothing like a random stranger warming your bed, I can see the arguments that ensue "Honest honey! She was just warming the bed!" :P

    ReplyDelete
  165. You are talking LGG It depende on the warmer me being the warmee..

  166. Sometimes governments just amaze me. A terrorist attack on Britain is highly likely, but we have no information to suspect this? Okay!!!

    ReplyDelete
  167. Sounds like they got something but don't want to tell.

  168. Some of the frats at Auburn would have pledges come over in the morning to warm the toilets for the brothers who lived there. Always seemed creepy to me.

    ReplyDelete
  169. Wow I didn't realize they would be in the bed. That is awesomely creepy. Do you get to pick the staff member?

  171. So, is there a choice in sizes of employees. I mean, is there the 500 pound bed warmer that will show up for an extra fee?

  172. Is there a shortage of electic blankets in England?

  173. I just had a great talk with Cecil Newton, who is Your No. 1 recruit's father. He certainly speaks directly.

I'm gathering stuff for a Cam Newton story, so I don't want to spoil that.

Still, I'll post a few quotes momentarily. I think you'll enjoy them.

    ReplyDelete
  174. That could be interesting. I have seen Cam Newton referred to as a good Christian boy, which is kind of contrary to what supposedly happened at Florida.

  175. JayGT: Does Mr. Newton remind you at all of Mr. Irons? Just a shot in the dark (from the dark side of the moon).

    Gracias.

  176. Steve: The article suggests that Thornton is ALL OVER the map with the crouton thing, so I don't know if what we've heard is incorrect. In fact, he's now saying he wants to check out USCal. because KIFFIN is there. Geez, talk about reasons for questioning his judgment.

  177. This also from the AJC (who typically only reports AU when something bad happens):

"If you haven’t noticed, Auburn is putting together a monster recruiting class for 2010. Mack’s pledge gives the Tigers 28 commitments so far, including three five-star prospects. And they’re not done yet. With five early enrollees, they have room for five more players and are in on some good ones, including five-star tailback Marcus Lattimore. Auburn’s competition for Lattimore is South Carolina. The Tigers’ class is currently ranked No. 4 in the nation by Rivals.com."
