wife is cooking french toast caserole and we are headn over to watch the game with auburn friends and fans, drink bloody marys and mimosas. Happy New Year!
Supercrip-Yeah. we get that list, AU will be OK. I know the players are different, but I recall Tulsa playing in a monsoon last year in the GMAC bowl and racking up 600 yards. It would be great if we can replicate that offensive performance today.
The recruiting seems to be snowballing. The quality of the class so far was probably a factor in getting Cam. Cam in turn makes the class even more attractive to others.
It's important to remember that these kids can change their minds until they sign on the dotted line. 5 really solid players already signed should help solidify the other commitments.
That TigerWalk shot really pumped me up! Happy New Year AU fans!!! Couldn't have imagined a better holiday gift than Mr. Newton. When was the last time AU was #3 in the recruiting rankings on Rivals.com??? That's d@mn impressive!
With that said. this is the time AU needs to step up and be counted. We have the stage to ourselves for a while. As it pre-game video at the stadium says 'It is Our Time.'
Well it's looking like the opening Warrrrrrrrrrrrrr Eagle is going to be the household alarm clock to start the new year. Still very quite here on the home front
Minutes before the game....I thought I would put something I saw up about the newbies that are possibly coming. Great things seem to be happening on The Plains!
While watching the Under Armor All American recruiting special the announcers found one thing that made the Auburn recruits stand out among their peers. They got into one group together like a family. The leader of this group was Michael Dyer.
They commented how the Auburn group toured Disney together having fun. There was no other group from any team that did this. We must remember this is a group made up of the top talent in the nation.
Every one of Auburn's recruits were together. Every team requires leadership and a sense of team. It appears the seven recruits committed to Auburn already have both.
Just got up early and drove back from Biloxi with wife and friends. Wife puked all the way home in a bag (didn't wanna pull over and be late to watch my Tigers) She's in bed and I have Miller Lites to enjoy the game- WAR EAGLE
First, but not there.

ReplyDeleteWell, well, well...so it has come to this.
ReplyDeleteWell Auburn has a lot of experience playing in the rain this year.

ReplyDeletewife is cooking french toast caserole and we are headn over to watch the game with auburn friends and fans, drink bloody marys and mimosas. Happy New Year!

ReplyDeleteNot much man..Just waiting for this game to kick off.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, hotties!!!
ReplyDeleteJust got a call from my mothier-in-law. They are waiting to get in stadium - gates weren't open yet. She said it is pouring rain :(
Morning all. Should be fun today. It's wet in Montgomery too
ReplyDeleteGameday ran a piece on Saban. I had to change channels fast before I became ill.
ReplyDeleteCloudy cold and damp in DC. Snug and warm and getting settled in front of the tube.
ReplyDeleteHappy New year to all the HOTTIES hope everyones head is clear for the game.
ReplyDeleteI thought 11:30am ole Miss game was early, WOW!
The rain should favor the running game. I think Tate and FAH both have big days.
ReplyDeleteKnow what you mean NoVaTiger don't want to start the new year off with your head in the toilet
ReplyDeleteI posted this onthe last thread:

I want to see Ben just blow it out!
ReplyDeleteYou gotta love when Cam Newton commits to Auburn, will enroll in January, and expects to compete for starting job....scrolls on the bottom of ESPN.
ReplyDeleteI am not saying he is a savior, I am saying he just might make everyone better.
So ready to get this show on the road.
ReplyDeleteWTC - I'll take AU for 600 in the mud any day

THe cam question(s) are:
ReplyDeleteIs he a leader - Won a NC in JC but could have had leadership on the team....
Can he pick up the GUS Bus O? He was able to pick up the JUCO o quick and win the NC so hopes are high.
Last but not least... can he be the CLEAR WINNER in the QB race as not to have a split team.
Nice looking Tiger Walk there on ESPN.
ReplyDeleteShot of Tigerwalk on Gameday.
ReplyDeleteSO AU moved to 3rd spot on the Rivals listof rankings. Still a long time until NSD and others will close strong.
ReplyDeleteThat TigerWalk shot really pumped me up! Happy New Year AU fans!!! Couldn't have imagined a better holiday gift than Mr. Newton. When was the last time AU was #3 in the recruiting rankings on Rivals.com??? That's d@mn impressive!
ReplyDeleteNothing likr putting the pressure on AU there Fowler.
ReplyDeleteWith that said. this is the time AU needs to step up and be counted. We have the stage to ourselves for a while. As it pre-game video at the stadium says 'It is Our Time.'
ReplyDeleteRivals has us right behind Bama. I'd love to see us pass them even if it's a totally bogus ranking.
ReplyDeleteHAPPY NEW YEAR HOTTIES!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFor many reasons I for one am happy to say good riddance 2009!
Here's to a great 2010....and an Auburn win!
WAR EAGLE!!!
1. Fowler was tongue-bathing Fitzgerald, too.
ReplyDelete2. Luv, you didn't do my blood pressure any good in the last thread saying that the uniforms had been changed.
I agree wtc. This really needs to be a statement game for next year.
ReplyDeleteMy last name is Fowler so when I was reading I was saying to myself...
ReplyDeleteSelf, what the heck did I say? But I also thought, why in the heck is cousin Chris adding to the pressure?
And before you ask, no there is no relation.
ReplyDelete1st - Win the Game
ReplyDelete2nd - Make statement
I'll take an ugly win and wait till next year to make a statement
That's not saying I wouldn't love a blow out statement today
ReplyDelete2010 - The year without Tebow!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year and War Eagle to all the Hotties!
ReplyDeleteMornin Wade!
ReplyDeleteTebow not getting the love this morning.
ReplyDeleteFor once!! I thought ESPN was the Tebow network?
ReplyDeleteOr is that CBS Sports aka Verne Lundquist?
ReplyDeleteMy stomach is doing flip-flops this morning - and I didn't even drink last night!
ReplyDeleteI am so ready for this game to get going before I stroke out.
Well it's looking like the opening Warrrrrrrrrrrrrr Eagle is going to be the household alarm clock to start the new year. Still very quite here on the home front
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Everyone!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat start to the '10 year with the signing of Newton. Keep it going with a statement game against NW.
I think the Tigers Dominate today.
War Eagle!!!
LT
Loganville,
ReplyDeleteI hope you are right and I kinda feel the same way...but I'm always going to be leary of any team who loses to Kentucky.
I just did some snooping around on ESPN and both columnist picked NW to win in a close game......
ReplyDeleteI just don't see it.
It has stopped raining in Orlando. Hopefully it will clear up in Tampa. It only rained here for about 1 hour.
ReplyDeleteJake knows his stuff!
ReplyDeleteJust win, baby.
ReplyDeleteWTC - view on radar not looking so good
ReplyDeleteMinutes before the game....I thought I would put something I saw up about the newbies that are possibly coming. Great things seem to be happening on The Plains!

Let us all take a moment to give thanks for the butt kicking we are about to deliver. Embrace you Todness for one last time. War Eagle!!!
ReplyDeleteAll Hail the Todzilla!
ReplyDeleteAnd the Benitater!
Just got up early and drove back from Biloxi with wife and friends. Wife puked all the way home in a bag (didn't wanna pull over and be late to watch my Tigers) She's in bed and I have Miller Lites to enjoy the game- WAR EAGLE
ReplyDeleteGreat point SuperCrip. It will pay dividends in the future.
ReplyDeletegeorgia Tech had a similar class about 2 years ago I think? Look how they have fared with that class.
So are all our Scholy's now full? Are we done for the recruiting season assuming all sign?
Your my new hero Craig.
ReplyDeleteNOrthwestern, I really have nothing against you, but you must be destroyed. In Todd We Trust!!! War Eagle!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, it's only been a minute, and these announcers are awful.
ReplyDeleteYes!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYea baby!!! Time to play!!! Way to go, Walt!!!
ReplyDeleteSpeed offense. I like it.
ReplyDeleteDarvin Adams, he's our man, if he can't do it, nobody can!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that did sound a bit on the gayish side.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Auburn!!!
ReplyDeleteKODI!!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent start.
ReplyDeleteGame over!!!
ReplyDeleteGood defense, the offense capitalized, Ben Tate looked good. It could be a long day for NW.
ReplyDeleteGame thread up.
ReplyDeleteI think Tate got in for the TD on his run.
ReplyDeleteCory Burns? These guys suck!!1
