  1. Home from work for the afternoon, getting psyched for a double shift working for the man tomorrow. Even worse is the dinner thingie I got roped into tonight. Some benefit dinner/concert where I may have to socialize. I'd much rather have a root canal.

  2. Totally late on this, but my two cents: Tate was awesome, but Ingram is a level above him.

  3. I am back not much going on in here. Basketball, if on TV I won't watch if blog is lively I will try very hard to be here to participate.

  4. Tate's strength was his consistency and durability. I do think he and Ingram are fairly comparable, but neither are outstanding tailbacks. Outstanding tailbacks are players you worry about playing. I had no worry about what Ingram would do in the Iron Bowl.

Good luck to the Tigers tonight. They have had a rough season, but they are still Auburn and I still wish them the best.

  5. Kentucky- Tennessee: Not all that competitive and not in the way you think.

  6. it's in Knoxville, so that score doesn't surprise me.

there's no hockey on. I should take a nap.

  7. This earthquake in Chile is huge. An 8.8 earthquake is huge. The Haitian earthquake was 7.1 if I remember correctly. Keep in mind it is a logarithmic scale. In other words an 8.0 is 10 times worse than a 7.0. This is very ugly.

  8. Because I knew you were wondering.

  9. I wish we had Bruce Pearl as a coach. Look at the energy he brought to UCheat. He is also a great coach. Most teams would have given up had they gone through what they did earlier in the year.

If AU does get rid of Lebo my three choices are Person, M. Anderson or the coach from BYU (can't remember his name)>

  10. 8.8 is frickin' enormous! Almost 100x the devastation from Haiti. Almost unfathomable.
What is with the number of earthquakes lately... just in the past couple of months, there have been numerous ones.

  11. The last count I saw they have had nearly 40 aftershocks, many of them above 5.0. It is pretty incredible. During the last 100 or so years, there have probably been only about 3 or 4 earthquakes bigger than this one.

  12. Argentina just had a 6.3 earthquake. Things are getting very messed up down there.

  13. 5.0 is not an aftershock in my book.... that's another earthquake...

  14. LGG Byron's ticket to next Saturday's fixture at Upton Park arrived today. He's stoked. Aisle seat 10 rows behind the West Ham bench. The Hammers will be battling Bolton Wanderers as each tries to keep their heads above water and stave off relegation.

  15. I don't know if any of you care what I think, but comparing Tate's and Ingram's stats doesn't tell the whole story. Like Wake and chip chip said yesterday, UAT's OL was a lot better than Auburn's. I'm sure Tate could have had the same amount of yards (or more, if I have on my orange and blue glasses) if he had a better and more disciplined line blocking for him.

  16. any of you EPL fans notice that all 6 goals in Man City's 4-2 win over Chelsea today were scored by former West Ham players?

Of course, I didn't have a clue until LGGB shared that morsel with me.

  17. Looking at the stats Jay G posted, it looks like LSU is as bad as Auburn. We are gonna make a homemade pizza and get a few wings and watch anyway - for as long as we can stand it!

    He's on mine.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Jet, I don't want an assistant. I want a proven coach at from a smaller conference.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I want someone who understands the brass knuckles world of the SEC.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I just want someone that knows how to win and on a more consistent basis!

  41. Jet wants John Brady
