Rounding out the class

OK. So Joel Bonomolo's paperwork has been "cleared" and you know what that means?

OFFICIAL SIGNEE COUNTER: 27

Auburn's National Signing Day effort has concluded.

DE Joel Bonomolo, 6-3, 245, New Orleans, La./Fullerton C.C.
Bonomolo is pure speed. He out-classed offensive tackles in junior college by simply blowing by them on the outside. Bonomolo, on his best days, was unstoppable because of his unusual acceleration. He's listed at 245 pounds, but he seems thinner on tape. He looks like a very strong wideout. Bonomolo intrigued plenty of West Coast teams, but Auburn and Iowa State were the only BCS programs outside the Pac-10 to offer a scholarship. He's something of an enigma. Rivals.com rates him as a four-star recruit, though Scout.com bestowed only three stars.

  21. As usual I am always left alone on the old thread, so once again ....

I am euphoric over our class of signees. Congrats to Chizik and Co. for working their butts off. I'm sure the dividends will soon be showing.

And thank you Jay G for working your butt off for our pleasure ...and your paycheck. It is very much appreciated.

What's up with Tubs and his Raiders......how did he do?

  30. If you need a nap to recuperate from all the excitement over the new signees, be sure to hang around for the Coach Chiz presser. That will give you the sleepy to go along with your tired.

Don't get me wrong, I love Coach Chiz and staff, but I expect nothing more exciting than usual today when he is speaking.

Thanks, Hoopie. I didn't look that close at it but I assumed most of that was Leach's work.
