I was reading some posts on the AU Rivals site and it looks like Bryan Matthews is leaving after today. Can't find a quote from him, but several that obviously made him mad are now apologizing and wishing him well. Interesting.
Nice flip Scottie ... was really hard to just sit and watch Heheh
wtc, noticed the other day some of them got down on him pretty hard
Gnite Jet. Get some rest, we gotta take down the Recruitmas decorations tommorow.
LK signed 8 folks that committed after he took over the program. Don't know how many of those were aleady being pursued by USC. Regardless and a s much as it hurts ...ya gotta give props to that arrogant a$$.
Early day tomorrow ... nite all. Until whenever
ok, i'm off to watch 'Damages' on my dvr, then off to bed after a day of gym, dentist, 2 jobs, and ReCruitMas 2010. whew. exhausted. nite.
hey scottie, you ever tried any sweet tricks with that flip, cause you're pretty good.
g'nite all. Got an early, long day manana.
ehyhou, i love sweet tricks.
oops...oh, you meant....nevermind.
;)
I'm out also.
yep
later
I donno if yall talked about it but USC has taken the #1 spot from UF on rivals
Whats unbelievable is that Scout still has USC ranked 7th.
The disparity between scout and rivals is shocking when it comes to Oklahoma and USC. Scout shows OU as having 5 stars, Rivals has them as having none, how does that happen.
Great day today!
Savor it tonight folks... The 2011 class may get kicked off soon.
Figured it be right if I topped off this record setting day with a BOOM. GET SOME BOY!
i feel the balance of power shifting west in the sec. AU, lsu and bammer all ended up pretty well. i was impressed with dooley at ut, but unless he has a qb he can magically yank out of his rear end for next year, they are a few years away from contending with uf. the richt ship appears to be taking on water as well. uga has freakin' players and could totally turn it around next year but that has been the case for 30 years. AU has a chance to move into the level bammer and uf are operating at if chizco can keep it up. way to go coaches. what should we expect when you have had two years to recruit the 2011 guys?
Stealin my thunder? Nuh uh
Thunder stolen.
Ima thief.
In the name of people, and freedom, and democracy, and stuff like that, I hereby kidnap myself, and I'm taking this blog with me. Whoo!
Aero,
That was a quick return.
Chip,
Except for Florida and maybe Georgia, the balance of power has been in the west for awhile now.
Good morning, Hotties! What a great day it is again today to be an Auburn Tiger! According to Jet, this is the best class since 1984! That's a long time (TOO LONG!) coming and congratulations go out the coaching staff for all their hard work! War Eagle!
Also, many thanks to Jay G for all his hard work this week! He deserves a raise and I hope he's taking the rest of the week off! : )
What a great day yesterday.
Lane Kiffin....best recruiter ever? Geez, they ended up #1 in Rivals. That's just sick. I would pay to hear Ed O closing on a commitment.
I guess Pete Carroll left the keys to the condos for Kiffin to pass out.
RK- That and wads of cash.
According to rivals, USC has 20 committments and they are all 4 and 5* except one and just about all of them are from CA. How many of these were already committed before Kiffen got there? How many decommitted when Carroll left and/or Kiffen was hired?
Anyone else working the week after Recruitmas?
Welcome back to the Auburn family, Izauea Lanier! AU's first commit for 2011.
D. Miller, I sent you an email the other day - don't know if you got it or not.
yup, gotta make that cheddar Bro. Jet.
weagles hotties!

As of today, Scout's TOP 5 are:
1. UF
2. OK
3. Texas
4. UAT
5. USC
Rivals:
1. USC
2. UF
3. Texas
4. Auburn
5. UAT
How does each site go about ranking teams? And, since there is such disparity, is it objective and, if not, do these rankings really matter?
Luv- Scout doesn't take into account JUCO players where Rivals does. That is one reason for the big difference.

Every service has it's own formula. When you look closely, you realize that none of them really means a hill of beans.
It's OK for telling you that 1 is better than 50, but when you're talking just a few spots you might as well throw darts.
ESPN owns Scout, shares resources with Scout, and still come up with different rankings.
Yes, the rankings are subective and don't really matter. The same can be said for the MNC, though...
