Auburn's rank? Nine.
Not too shabby. I can't say much about it because, honestly, I know very little about what the other major FBS teams have on board. It's impossible for me to understand what Auburn is accomplishing relative to their rivals, but snagging Kiehl Frazier obviously is a huge deal.
DONG!
ReplyDelete9 is FINE!
ReplyDeleteI predict 4 ding dongs today
ReplyDeleteand extraordinarily extremely excessively preliminary
ReplyDeleteYou're gonna spoil us bro.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the threads today, JGT! I'm headed out for the weekend. Conecuh sausage on the grill in a couple of hours!
ReplyDeletePIECE, ChocoScott.
ReplyDeleteI would think the ranking speaks well of the guys we have landed because last time I checked we had considerably fewer than most of the other teams on this list.
ReplyDeleteLooking at that ranking it shows us with two others? I'm assuming 1 is a Juco guy which ESPN doesn't rank. I don't understand why they do that.
ReplyDeleteehyou, we are tied for the 2nd fewest commits of teams in the top 10.
ReplyDeletethanks for all the reading Jay...consider me entertained and informed..how many days til kickoff btw?
ReplyDeleteMy head just exploded from HABOTN thread overdrive. So it goes. Great work today JayG.
ReplyDeleteDays remaining: Lots!
ReplyDelete#9~!
ReplyDelete92 DAYS TILL 2010 AUBURN FOOTBALL!
ReplyDeleteWOOT!
GO CHIZ & CO. GO!
it's 5-1 Clemson. bottom 6.

ReplyDeleteJGT said: "Days remaining: Lots!"
ReplyDeletebut 44 fewer days than when I started keeping track.
i <3 THT.
ReplyDelete:)
the chances of Favre returning based off USM's CWS chances is fading fast.
ReplyDeletepitching change in 6th. still 5-1 CU.
Wow!!! Jay G. may not be omnipresent, but he is coming close. Great news.
ReplyDeleteThis ranking puts Auburn in great position. Last season's class wasn't ranked nearly this high at this point in the recruiting process.
ChizCo keeps bringing it.
It is also very impressive that half the top 10 are SEC schools.
ReplyDeletenew pitcher doesn't help.
ReplyDelete6-1 CU.
Later Homies, it's time to commute.
ReplyDeletebases loaded single nets 2 more for CU.
ReplyDelete7-1.
another new USM hurler.
JG ...from about 14 threads ago...My apologies to you and Bags if I went too far.
ReplyDeleteThe ninny in me couldn't help but try to get in the last word.
Conecuh sausage!! ..brought some back from H-burg and gonna grillz it up this weekend.
The players ESPN is considering are listed here.
ReplyDeleteGotta hit the gym and get back in time to find out whether my Friday night has been planned for me or if I get to watch baseball on the computer. Mobilz ...thanks for the link.
ReplyDeletePiez-out.
We've got someone from Montana (is it Wisner?), Minnesota (Gayden), Missouri (Clark) and we have a Delawareian commitment. Very interesting geographic spread.
ReplyDeleteI hereby retract the "i"... Delawarean commitment.
ReplyDeleteNO RETRACTIONS!
ReplyDeleteNever underestimate the Delaware recruiting hotbed.
ReplyDeleteoh my. top 8, 10-1 CU.
ReplyDeletewell, there's a delay in the Clemson rout. lightning apparently coming towards Plainsman Park. they've rolled the tarp on the field but haven't unrolled it.
ReplyDeletethey're saying it's black on one side of the sky and blue skies on the other. no rain yet. it's a 'lightning' delay.
it's officially a woodshed beating
ReplyDeletethat's a mandatory 30 minute delay.
ReplyDeletethey're urging the fans to retreat from....nothing to underneath the stands.
"red/orange" thunderstorm just across I-85 from AU, moving east. Should be gone soon.
ReplyDeletei bet orange wins that battle with red.
ReplyDeletego orange!
ok hotties, i'm needing yall to pull us through.
ReplyDeletei'll be checking in during the game when i can.
WDE! BEAT JSU!
It appears someone is van der screwed.
ReplyDeleteSFC - No death penalty for "ordinary crime" like murder in Peru.
ReplyDeletegame resumed
ReplyDeleteTop of 8th 1 out, USM with runner on 1st.. DP ends their at bat.
Going to bottom of 8th,
Clempson 10, Favreless 1
Good. I would prefer he get life in prison.
ReplyDeleteWith two large breasts tattooed on his back, if that would be possible.
ReplyDeletetop of 9th starting. If Faux Tigers can get 3 quick outs, these 2 teams can get off the field so the REAL Tigers can play.
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, USM opens with a single.
Final:
ReplyDeleteFaux tigers 10
Favrelesses 1
Does anyone have the link to where the game can be watched online. It was posted earlier, but I have lost it in the flood of substance.
ReplyDeletethat was courtesy of AUnMobilz, btw.
ReplyDeleteI think the pic will be frozen until they actually are about to start.
ReplyDeletecouple of thunderboomers passing to the east of Monroeville and Pine Apple, headed towards Hope Hull. These are on a NE course though, not easterly like the last one. Hopefully when they visit the Gumpians they will not turn right on I-85.
ReplyDeleteThanks THT and Mobilz
ReplyDeleteUGGGHHHH.
ReplyDeleteThe Infidels are beating the Phoenix (nee Fighting Christians) 9-1 with a rain delay in progress.
I HATE UA-T!!!
Clear sly in AU. Heading into the park in a few minutes. Sitting with cincytiger and spouse, miller.
ReplyDeleteSomeone will blog a little of the game.
Cincytiger married Miller!!! That's news to me!
ReplyDelete9th in the nation/5th in the SEC...
ReplyDeleteSomebody should be happy with # 14 on that list.
ReplyDeletei must admit, my heart is hurting to be watching this via live stream tonight rather than in person
ReplyDeleteWERK, James Willis?
ReplyDeletewell, rats. little boomer just sprung up at Tallassee and is headed towards Loachapoaka. Hopefully will slide N of AU, but don't know if it's got bolts with it.
ReplyDeletethey haven't started on the internet; is it live or slightly delayed?
ReplyDeletejust introduced AU lineup
Vandy beat somebody in 13 innings today. Where did that bracket link go...
ReplyDelete"Tiger Terrace absolutely packed and the grandstands filling up as well. A huge number of fans outside the stadium"
per the HABOTN Twitter column, here's an interesting article about Big Ten courting Texas
ReplyDeleteHere we go!!!!!
ReplyDeletefirst pitch a called strike
ReplyDeleteGO AUBURN!!!
not pretty right now, Scottie B.
ReplyDeleteJSU runners on 1 & 2, one out.
Jax single, run scores
ReplyDeleterunners 1 & 2, one out
I'm not going to discuss any other aspect of expansion.
ReplyDeleteDown 0-1. Whatever.
ReplyDeleteugghhh. up 0-2 in count, walks bases loaded.
ReplyDeletegot out of it with only 1 run against us.
ReplyDeleteTime for the TIGER BIG BATS!!!
Luckie threw 36 pitches
0-1 after 1/2 inning.
ReplyDeleteI will be surprised if Luckie lasts two innings. Throwing Junk balls the first inning.
ReplyDeleteBases loaded k for the visitors.
2 up 2 down on 3 pitches
ReplyDelete4 pitches and AU goes down 1-2-3
ReplyDelete0-1 after 1 full.
ReplyDeleteat the current rate, it will take the Jax State pitcher 9 innings to match Luckie's 1st inning pitch count.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope that rate changes in AU's favor.
Bags is blogging a new thread upz
ReplyDeleteNothing doing in the second for au. Looks like all of them are still swinging for the fence.
ReplyDelete
