Morning update
Hey everyone. Wifey said our local YMCA branch -- a voting precinct but not ours -- had a 50-yard line at the door at 6:15 a.m. Voting doesn't begin until 7.
So ... I'm going to head out the door soon. I'm clearing out one hour to wait for my opportunity to vote.
I'll leave you with a Monday quote from LSU coach Les Miles:

I'll leave you with a Monday quote from LSU coach Les Miles:
This morning at 6:45 a.m., we met as a team. We went through a number of things, but something that probably is not necessarily forefront in our thinking in this room but maybe should be is voting. I told my team, 'This is at the very minimum a historic vote, and it's something we should be responsible for and participate in.' I suggested that they get in position to fulfill their responsibilities as citizens of the United States and vote. I suggest the same in this room. I voted early. (OL) Herman Johnson and myself both got early opportunities at the voting booth.Talk with you in a bit.

Good quote. Everyone go rock the vote today. It's great to be an american and have these opportunities.
No doubt, Eddie.
My vote is in!!
Have a good day, Hotties. Enjoy your freedom and rights as citizens of the greatest country in the world.
Viva la United States!
and
Viva la Auburn!
I'm going to vote here in a few mins...lucky I'm working from home today and my location is less than 2 miles from the house.
I am going to have to go back later today and vote. Drove by my polling place this AM and it was JACKED UP! At least 200 peeps snaked around the building waiting to vote.
And I will agree with everyone else, it doesn't matter who you're for - just go vote! If you don't vote then you can't complain later!
Waiting for my daughter to get out of her classes today so we can vote together. This is her first time to vote, and what a historical election to vote in!
Mailed in my absentee ballot from Denver to Tennessee a couple of weeks ago. Can't wait to go home and watch the results poor in.
Lines were very long in North Alabama today.
i voted early, but i drove past my polling place just to check it out and the place was rockin'. truth, justice and the habotn way! war eagle!
Living in Atlanta, I'm going to leave to go vote at 2:30. I expect to stand in line for around 2 hours or so, but I hope not. Thank God for the iphone. I can at least post to here while killing time.
Went in this morning and took care of all the voting business. Jay, I hope you don't mind being written in.
Did I just see a video of the Lassiter TE who is an AU recruit on ESPN?
Voted absentee ballot with the "no reason" code. Absolutely flawless process. No lines, great. Even included the "I voted sticker" so I could wear it today.
Funny that Les Miles is encouraging his kids to vote at 6:45AM on election day. Most kids are not from the Baton Rouge area- -so a little late to do the absentee thing. It's a good message, but one he should have delivered a few weeks ago!
Hey everyone, checking in from ATL, got out there and voted, absolutely no wait for me, I guess I got a bit lucky. Looking forward to the weekly press conference.
Voted early, last week...only took 15 min. Forgot to keep the "I voted" sticker to wear today.
Even if you aren't in a "battleground state"...have your voice heard in the original American way.
Does it matter who you vote for? I'd say yes. But only if you're into actually knowing what the candidates' agenda are. I suspect Obama would not be so popular if knowledge was as important as it should be these days.
People hear the words "tax cut" and they throw their hands up never once doing the legwork to consider the consequences.
I wish I got a sticker like the "I voted" sticker for everything I did. Like maybe restaurants could hand out "I ate" stickers and bathrooms could have "I pooped" sticker dispensers.
Lassiter TE Philip L. is on ESPN 2 talking about his catch and pitch. Wondering if he will talk about his commit.
my brother just voted in dothan. his polling station was "wrapped up" with voters.
No major problems for me at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts.
I was prepared to provide photos for you all. The "security guard" said it was impermissible for me to take pictures.
Why? Protecting the voters?
Nope. There was painting in the background and, therefore, the photograph would have been "against museum policy."
Jay- In Georgia it apparently is against the law to take photos inside polling locations. They were warning everyone today on the news about that. Seems pretty silly to me.
Early this morning the line went around the city block in Baltimore. Settled down when we went at 9am.
Voting in Opelika today was pretty fast with no problems. I think I over heard a clerk say that if the numbers kept up the way they were, they'd run out ballots. :(
Yea the Lutz kid was on ESPN with that great catch/flip! It's also online as well. Dont know if we'll keep his commit but that kid has great hands.

I wonder what Phil Fulmer is doing today....
probably trying hard to figure out how to spend all that $$$. He should call Franklin and Borges and get some ideas.
I voted absentee in Florida, which means my vote didn't count, and will probably be lost somewhere...I could have just changed my county of residence so that I could've actually gone to the polls, but that wouldn't have counted, either, because Florida pretty much just makes up a winner. I think it's decided by "pick a number" or something. I did my duty, but I have about as much faith in the American voting process as I do the Argentinian voting process.
It didn't take me longer than 15 mins to get in and out at the location where I voted. So much better than the two times I went to early vote and lines were backed up forever.
