The Tigers (2-0) have a good team. Temple is pretty good; still got worked.Auburn forced 29 turnovers.
Alli Smalley scored 16 points in the second half. Temple went to a zone and Smalley had no problems firing away from outside.
DeWanna Bonner finished with 29 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Not too shabby. Sherell Hobbs, pictured at left, had 20 points.
Sen'Derrick Marks was featured on the Jumbotron during a time-out for his enthusiastic dancing to "Shake Your Booty." It was a funny scene. Approximately 15 football players were in the house; Jomarcus Savage, Hot Carter and Frankie Sullivan were on board for the duration.

Sounds like this up-tempo style is going to be a good thing.
Auburn has a ton of depth.
I know interest in this team is minimal ... maybe even after they make the NCAAs.
This is definitely a team to keep an eye on. They have some outstanding veterans and a ton of depth.

If they can at least hang with that group, that'll be huge for the program.
Gotta see how it all shakes out.
I don't think Auburn will be better than Tennessee this season, but it's possible that the Tigers could beat UT when the time comes.

I would have been very excited had them been a write up on men's bball.
It sounds like Nell is building a solid program. I think the men's team will be okay as well. I hear Frankie's going to get some minutes Wed night.
If we can get Frankie back healthy, teams won't be able to concentrate on Waller. Sullivan can knock the trey down as well.

I hope the women's team can be good this year. That would be good. I remember the times when AU Women's hoops was dominate.
I always get a kick out of "Hot Carter". I need this guy to be a star next year so I can create a fan club.

Men's team has 3 real shooters now. That's abundance. Goldmine, if you will, in Auburn terms. Barber was a huge miss last year. But just imagine if Dollard had kept his pipes clean?
agreed crudup. 3 is A LOT compared to the past few years.
Uptempe basketball is always a good thing, players love it and the fans love it. I think coaches forget that they are putting out a product that people pay money to see. Pressure basketball done right is a wonder to behold and it way more complex than people realize. The coach just doesn't roll out a basketball and let the players play. Anyway, if my situation had permitted, I would have love to have seen the ladies play tonight. Maybe in the future.

I saw somewhere that we might be 3rd in the west. At least that's a start. If Admin is going to invest that type $$ in a new house certainly we can put together a winning team.
