FREEMAN MAKES IT OFFICIAL: Our friends at AuburnSports.com reported this morning that linebacker Eltoro Freeman has faxed his LOI to Auburn officials. He becomes the second player to sign with Gene Chizik. The first was defensive tackle Nick Fairley. Both played junior college ball and are expected to participate in spring drills.

We're concentrating on 2-70 right now and having a lot of fun. This teetotaler tried some Hot Mead tonight. Don't have a clue exactly what it is but it tasted like "honey whiskey".
the wifey conned me into getting new countertops, sink, and faucet for the kitchen. thus, no presents for scottie. oh, well.
the mother-in-law did get me a nice navy rug to complete my auburn room. i'm super-juiced about that!

I knew some former workers who saved and saved with intent of traveling when retired. They retire and get all sorts of serious ailments and travel only to the hospital. So we're traveling now and will be destitute when we retire. But that's ok. Our son has promised to take us for a one way walk in the woods then ;-)

Three names to think about for OC..not spreading rumors but 3 names that are out there..Scott Linehan St. Louis head coach former college OC, and worked for Saban at the Dolphins. Chuck Long former San Diego St. head coach, and former OC at Oklahoma.
Gus Malzahn current OC at Tulsa(one of the best offenses in the country in all catagories), and former OC at Arkansas.
scottie b, I would have gone for the fence too. When you have dogs and are lazy like me, a fence is invaluable. New kitchens can wait, right?

Read you were from Brewton. My family is from there. My dad grew up there. Spent alot of time in that area. The old place was on I think it was Evergreen Avenue. Sadly they wound up tearing the house down.

I just listened to the pod cast from the Round Table interview. Coaches dad was awarded the Bronz Star for bravery in WWII at Okinawa in what is considered to be the bloodest battle of the Pacific theater. Here is a link to the story.
