Sounds like Gus is going to have a pretty hectic schedule for awhile ...
I think Malzahn staying on with Tulsa until after their bowl game will help auburn because recruits (and current players for that matter) will see the type of offense he is running.

To hear them talk during the year, they did not need him or JPW...They are going to go on without them next year and compete for MNC. I am not smart but it is (I sound like Tony Franklin) no coincidence that the top teams in the SEC had mature QBs and I am counting Snead in that group.

Can't answer why you experience different behaviors on message boards, although my experience is that if you change the colors of the boards you can't tell a difference between them.

What struck me funny was when the story first broke the bammers were giving Saban the high marks award for acting so swiftly in dealing with team violations....The only reason he sent him home was......he had too...he had no choice...that you can bank on. This was not his call, that you can count on.
Man... This vacation thing just gets better. I'm in Epcot today and I get the Adre Smith news. I can't wait to see what happens when I go to animal kingdom tomorrow. Saban to Norte Dame or maybe he will go to the Jets.

Jet Issues Caution
Please do not place too much emphasis on Tulsa's bowl game as a barometer of Malzahn's abilities ... he's already distracted, and his team knows he's leaving. They may be beautiful, but they may be ragged, too.
Watch for schemes, not necessarily productivity ... you could be setting yourself up for disappointment.

I'm with you Jet. The worst thing that could happen in my opinion is Tulsa dropping 70 on Ball State. That will once again raise the expectations way up where they shouldn't be.
I really don't Mon and he has ticked me off before too, but if we have to have one on here, I would rather it be him. If a dude sends me a wink, he has way more issues than simply being a bama fan....
Kris-no he hasn't been a DC. But he wants a coordinator position in the pursuit of being a HC someday. My thinking was Chizik is going to run his own defense, but RG could assume the DC title and learn from Chizik in that role. RG has been around SEC football for years, and he is a beast in recruiting. My hope is Jacobs is secretly assisting jet in his RG pursuit.
I am never seen with JJ ... I never talk to JJ ... I just work in the shadows, depressed.
It would take that title to get him away from Georgia, and what you say does make sense. DC is one position that we can afford to take a chance on a guy with zero experience in that capacity.
