Picking up the pieces
Hey everyone. Hope you're having a swell morning.
So James Willis left for Alabama yesterday, which certainly will have some ramifications, though I consider most of them short-term issues. Let's examine how his departure will affect Auburn's Signing Day haul.
So James Willis left for Alabama yesterday, which certainly will have some ramifications, though I consider most of them short-term issues. Let's examine how his departure will affect Auburn's Signing Day haul.
- Willis was the primary recruiting contact for a number of committed players. Our friends at AuburnSports.com talked with many of those players last night and I don't see any evidence that their allegiances are waning.
DE Jamontay Pilson, QB Clint Moseley, OL John Sullen, WR Anthony Gulley and WR LaVoyd James remain fully committed. - OL/DL Nick Fairley already is enrolled.
- I haven't heard from LB Jonathan Evans. He's a tricky one because Evans always has liked Auburn and his brother played at Auburn ... yet Willis always was a big draw for him. Alabama hadn't offered him prior to this. Not sure what to think there.
- DL Terrence Coleman (pictured at right) could be tricky. He told several recruiting websites last night that he's disgusted with Willis and wouldn't consider playing for him at Alabama. He also announced plans to more carefully consider other offers. I still believe Coleman will sign with Auburn.
- Things get more dicey with uncommitted recruits.
- Willis was the main contact for Maryland QB Raymond Cotton, whose Auburn recruitment now moves into a third stage. Steve Ensminger was Cotton's initial liaison.
- Montgomery OL/DL Brandon Moore seemed destined for Alabama or Florida before Willis left.
- Brewton DT Jamar Travis, a Southern Miss commitment, will visit Auburn this weekend. The scouting services list him as a 4-star player. Travis certainly is considering Auburn, so this will be an interesting development.
- Florida LB Petey Smith was brash with his moves last night, canceling a visit to Auburn scheduled for this weekend. He told AuburnSports.com last night: "I'm Alabama all the way." That represents quite a change of direction for Smith, whose brother, Eric, is a sophomore tailback at Auburn. Petey Smith recently said the Tigers were the team to beat. It's rare that you see bridges burned so enthusiastically, but it makes for good drama.

yep. i said it. mvp
Would Auburn have beaten MissState without Durst?
Most Valuable Punter.
OK. I can buy that.
Omnica,
Momma G's - Momma Love
he was quite the help in the Tennessee game too
your new avatar makes me think you're giving me the stink eye whenever you disagree with me or anyone else
There's a Mamma G's in Huntington, WV? Awesome.
True it would have been even more embarrassing this year if he hadn't punted well.
But two scholarships to punters in one class? I see where the coaches are coming from.
And Jay, I assume Tubs agreed to give Durst a scholly next summer, and Chizik told him he wouldn't get one. I am sure some of them learn before the summer.
Is that your O RLY face?
No no no.
Chizik told Durst that he would have to earn one during the summer.
That is completely different than: Thanks but no thanks.
ok. i guess this is open for debate then. Who was Team MVP? I still vote Durst, mainly because we stunk last year
Had lunch today at Moma G in Homewood Al. Moma's Love and Nachos. MMMMMMM good.
Jay G.
It took me 10 freakn years to pay back my student loans adn this kid Durst can't wait five months to find out if he has a scholly.....
Good Bye!!!!
Oh. Durst is a baby, then. I know we were going with PKs, but I nominate him for the honor of inaugural kicker on a stick.
We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one.
I'm with Leo Carson, who once shouted down Jeremy Zills in a 1998 team meeting.
Zills got up to speak. Carson immediately told him to sit down.
"Nobody cares what the punter thinks."
New information has come to light.
So do you know if Tubs told him he would get a scholarship in the summer?
PF,
I'm bringing the freakn poker and the pole to put his butt on..... mount him at the entrance to JHS!!!
Summer. This stuff goes down in the summer ... even if Tuberville guaranteed it.
Special Teams players have a lot of valuable opinions on football. Just ask Mike Vanderjagt.
Peter,
No Momma G's in WV. She gotta problem with driving? Maybe Clinton Durst and James Willis can meet her half way.
Personally, I thought Durst was one of the brightest parts of last season, that and the way the defensive backs played.
Micheal,
It does not matter....
"Clint Durst needs to shut up and sit down nobody cares about what a punter has to say!"
live to punt, Durst. Live. To. Punt.
...oh, wait, that's not the philosophy here anymore.
carryon, quitter.
Michael,
remember "nobody wants to hear from a liquored up punter shooting his mouth off......." Peyton Manning on Mike Vanderjagt!
Glad to see you come around, Peter.
Leo Carson rules! That is AUsome.
Of course, you can't say that to a goalie. He'll hack your ankles with his stick while you're defending his crease. Believe me. I know.
What's a goalie?
But Jay you couldn't kick a football 50yds
He guards the goal for the basketball game. Ask any of the 12 people who were at the last AU home game.
Did anyone watch the San Diego/Indianapolis playoff game this year? The San Diego punter had an incredible night. With a few minutes to go, San diego had to punt. After the punt, Indy would need just one first down to finish the game, so good punt or bad punt, things were pretty dire for the Chargers. The punter pinned them back with an amazing punt, so they shoot him coming off the field, and he looks like he is giggling.
A real football player would give a determined fist pump, or yell with a scowl. He was laughing. You could tell win or lose, he was going home happy that night because of his good punting. And that is why people hate punters.
I see a challenge.
How do you know I couldn't kick a football 50 yards?
I have kicked a futebol 50 yards this week.
Michael-
Ballin scared of moi, el wimpo? Not hardly. The other day I was blabbering incessantly to the point of being annoying. Sort of like earlier today when I was sittin' around the house.
I don't know about y'all, but I'm seriously in need of a couple of 5* right now.
I went to the Greenbrier for Fried Green Tomatoes, put them on a Krystals and put all of that inside an Arby's roast beef.
YUMMY!
I like kickers willing to sacrifice their season by running down the field and tackling someone. It shows heart and toughness.
Is it legal to open a restaurant and sell what Monica just described? There wouldn't even be a kitchen, just employees constantly going to the other places and then combining the materials at the cash register.
Jay G, take the bet. Kick the ball 50 yards. Loser gets kicked in the cajones.
I like special teams that are special enough not to need any tackles from the kicker
or better yet, a kicker whose kicks don't require tackles
Did anyone see the 75 footer Marshall had last night? That was fun.
Michael-
you just cracked me up. What would you call it?
Maybe at Thanksgiving you could sell some of John Madden's Turduckens
Michael if you open that restaurant I'll let you use my idea. :-)
The restaurant would be called........... Tim's.
and the culinary offering would be called?
My bad JGT, I was just guessin but guessed wrong. I should have known better, since those Tates (at least some of them) are atheletic.
The Mondwich
Mondwich! SWEEEEEEEET
i used to drill field goals all day long in high school P.E.
I'm not athletic, per se, but I have a strong leg.
Again, this was a futebol ... not that oblong thing some people consider more important.
Is a Mondwich a meal?
As long as it's not confused with Tim Hortons.
I can't believe y'all are bashing Durst. Dude was the third best punter in the SEC and the 15th best in the nation. There's a scolly waiting on that guy somewhere.
The fact that Chizik wouldn't guarantee a proven player a scolly is a knock on Chizik, not on the kid who left to get his college paid for.
I guess I'm going to at least attempt some light live blogging of the Aub/Ala women's game tonight.
I figure the Tigers are undefeated and ranked No. 6 and about to blow the doors off Alabama again ...
Josh, I called him the team MVP. Everyone hated me for it
JGT I was really talking about one of your younger relatives
Bag, scholarships are doled out in the summer. I find it humorous that Durst said he just couldn't take out any additional student loans.
As someone who needed eight years to pay off his student loans, I wasn't moved by Durst's argument.
Josh I can't believe you've allowed them to leave THAT picture of you up on the 740 site.
ballin, I think she's in rehab again.
I don't even want to know how you'd know about my sister's athletis prowess.
HABOTN, home of the haters...
My official opinion is that he deserved a scholarship, but is showing why kickers are known as babies by being a baby and quitting instead of earning it over the summer.
Amen Jay G.
Speaking of your school. My Bosslady found out today her daughter was awarded a Presidential scholly to Transy. Cool.
I too am not moved my the loan business, since I will be in debt for my schooling another 20 years or so. But if I thought I could transfer somewhere to play football and get a scholarship, well, I ain't gonna hate on Durst for that.
But like I said earlier, Shoemaker is good, so it's not like Chizik is performing without a net here.
Harrison: He very well might be. You don't win the MSU game without him, I know that.
Not guaranteeing the guy a scolly seems silly to me. I understand this stuff is usually worked out in the summer and all, but come on. You gotta have one. He's proven himself. I don't see what the holdup is.
It certainly isn't scholarship limitations. At this point, with the way recruiting's going, I don't think running out of scholarships is gonna be an issue.
Is Clinton Durst a big a deal? Scholarships typically are doled out during the summer. So he's mad that it's five months before June and he's not on scholarship?
I guess I'm missing something.
He would have had to take out loans to pay for his final year of school? Poor guy. Lowly me had to take out loans for my entire UK career.
FUHHHHHHHHHHH-REAKIN DING DING DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING FREAKIN DING
The punter left.
Say it out loud all those who are acting like -- well - you know --- THE PUNTER.
You PUNT because you failed - Steve Spurrier
The Durst thing makes me worry about Chizek.
OH and Tar,
Yeah...hey, listen, man, I'm talkin' about, I done went off and walked a mile in your shoes, man, I felt that big ol' hurt, and I just wanna tell you, man, I'm...I'm sorry. How 'bout we just be, you know, dang ol' friends, man?
"Sandwich is a sandwich, a Manwich is a mean, but a Mondwich is desert"
btw, Arron Burnette is hot. Why don't y'all ever call her hot??
One word -- SO?!
Beating Miss St makes us 5-7 instead of 4-8.
ROCK THE 5-7 boys!
Rock it.
Own it!
no live blogging needed for this hottie. just a summary of why the AU women are awesome and the UA-T women are less than awesome...plus a score and Official HABOTN Player of the Game®.
Josh Moon=the only person to ever agree with me.
Might not win UT game without him either
Chris - add more spaces to your posts please. Thanks.
I think the real issue for Durst was that there was no guarantee he was gonna get a scolly in the summer. He probably would've taken out the extra loans ... if there was a guarantee there.
But if he waits, doesn't get one this summer and then screws up his chances to transfer elsewhere and get a scolly, that's more money.
I think Scottie B should make some Mondwich T-shirts.
Maybe I should change the name of the restaurant to HABOTN Diner or something. Hopefully the paperwork I just filed hasn't gone through yet.
a Monwich is a dry, sandy place with no rain?
Ballin-
I love you man. As long as you hate them, I'll love you.
Yet another excellent idea, Michael. Although you know how much I HATE calling attention to myself like this.
The Durst thing makes me worry about Chizek.
Me too.
But'll I'll worry about anyvery thing.
inverness has been saying "ding" a lot lately. Just an observation.
You really into bells now or somehing, chris?
I'm not familiar with a Monwich.
or small boats
Chris: That long snapper AU's got on scholarship needs someone back there to snap the ball to.
dangit Mon. let me have my moment
Durst left the team to get a job. That just means he's not doing the weight stuff and may skip spring practice cause he's got a job and school. It doesn't mean he won't be there when Aug rolls around.
Monica - add more substance to yours and you have a deal.
Oops, but wait.
You
had
nothing
to
say.
AGAIN?
Josh - Who gave the long snapper a scholly?
I suggest you do what your parents did, and GET A JOB!
I'm a hatin on the infidels. I even was a hatin on FSJ for a while yesterday since I was so upset with the circumstances.
Harrison needs some private time. Too much Mondwich talk.
DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING
C.A.T.F.I.G.H.T.!!!
Will James Willis be there pulling for his beloved Tide tonight?
Or should I saay PROMISED?
To think I actually defended that Chris person once upon a time. No good deed goes unpunished.
Chris: Tuberville and Co.
I'm pretty sure you were defending him against my attacks. My hurtful, hurtful attacks.
I love the idea of Willis singning the what the hell ever they sing during the locker room celebration after beating the first opponent.
When does it sink in?
Ok -
Josh: so.
George Bamfo 6' 200lb LB from somewhere in TX visiting on the 30th. According to Rivals, he's a 5.5 and has an offer from Portland State. Stephen F Austin and Arky State also interested but haven't offered. Hmmm. He's visiting TxTech this weekend.
BTW, I think Eguae is visiting TxTech also. Would it be mean to hope for a brief bout of food poisoning in Lubbock?
You have a much better memory than me, Peter, so I'm sure you're right.
And to think I nursed inverness back to health after I ran over him, and he just bit me and ran away.
Wait, no, that was that squirrel we rescued that one time when I was little. Nevermind. Carry on.
I wish my posts had substance like your, Michael. Teach me.
which one of you guys took a dump in Chris' mailbox
Once the "comments" section becomes personal, its time tO "WIILIS".
off to Arby's

Chris, you're leaving for Bammer?
Don't go to Arby's go to Tim's.
nice, Peter. I win
I'm copying and pasting and studying that tonight.
Crap. You will rue the day you chose roast beef over the Krystal burger.
You win this round, Harrison. But next time, the gloves are coming off and I am recommending Tim's.
I'm tough to beat at fast food peer pressure
Chris: Not sure how "so" fits into the conversation we were having.
You asked who signed the long snapper. I told you.
Good Monica. The first thing you will learn is that when randomly hitting keys, I often hit "s" after hitting the space bar.
The other lessons you will have to learn on your own.
Maybe it was more like the "so" that people say when the conversation dies and they try to think of the next thing to say.
Durst was a heck of a punter and bailed us out quite a bit this year....but he should not run off crying....He only has a year left for his degree, so he might as well stick around, I am sure they will have a slot open for him...he just has to wait
I thought your point was that -- because AU had a long-snapper on schooly he deserved a punter to snap to on scholly.
right?
I would think that a change in phylosophy once the staff changed - the fact that AU has a long-snapper on scholly would be a mute point.
But hey, you're the man.
Right Michael:
Wife: Harrison, pull your pants up you butt crack is showing.
Harrison: so
Chris--moot point. where you at Mon
Make it simple --- what does Auburn having a long snapper on scholly have to do with Durst leaving?
This comment has been removed by the author.
got me harrison.
i'll have to eat a bag of dorritos to get over that one.
And one more thing...Petey Smith choosing James freaking Willis over his own brother? Now there is a turncoat folks. Don't get any splinters in your rear Petey while you are riding the pine.
Looks like a LB from TX is coming for a visit. George Bamfo, reminds me of Tray Blackmon's highlights from High School
Chris - That Photo Cracks me up....How did you get Moons Vacation Pics???
hopefully his college highlights will have more content.....
I am Done with P.Smith....He can go help Willis pack....It was sweet that Colman called Willis out today
The point is, you're making it seem as though losing a punter is no big deal and that you can trot pretty much anyone out there to do that job. I was pointing out that the previous staff -- a group of guys who were doing that coaching thing for quite some time -- felt the kicking game was important enough to not only sign two kickers and two punters, but also place a long snapper on scholarship.
I understand that the natural reaction is to agree with every move the head coach makes, but this was a stupid move by Chizik. He needs a punter. He's gonna have a punter on scholarship regardless. He has one in front of him who has proven himself. Tell the guy he's getting a scolly and move on.
Dude, that pic was taken of me just beofre I met my wife.
You'll be happy to know that we have been happily married for 2 1/2 years and 8 happy children.
I'm glad Josh Moon came in tonight to prove me right
Out of turn but ---
Anyone who says college basketball is within a fart-sniff of college football hasn't watched a Georgetown/W.V. game on a thursaday in early/mid jan.
With any luck our team will not go 3 & out (or Less) as much as last year....We will have a better chance of scoring on Offense not Defense
Petey must be negotiating for a leather interior in his Escalade....hopefully Auburn won't take the bait.
It looks like you are Preg. with 4 of the kids in that Photo
The thing is Shoemaker is on scholarship. I really don't blame Durst. This reminds me of the Robert McGinty episode.
Sister in Prattville called. She gave me some substance pointers. I'm ready now.
Has anyone ever seen Chris Todd punt? Maybe Chiz has a plan!
Petey said he and his brother have always been competitive so this will be "fun". Maybe I missed it, but I, along with Jay G., want to know if bama actually wants Petey.
And Josh - don't get me wrong, I like the idea of concentrating on the kicking game and special teams but I guess the point I'm baffled at you missing - and I guess because I understood you are a respected member of the Montgomery media is that....
Shoemaker was All-SEC as a frosh. Was Durst born the best punter to ever walk on at Auburn?
Don't know.
The reaction you got from me was from your answering me with a recorded response about how the sholly long snapper needed someone to snap to.
I say that there's a new staff in town and maybe things change.
But...
his hip joint has to be stronger than his shoulder
No - you've changed my mind.
Having TWO punters on scholly is much better than one.
Petey has offers from UAT, Louisville, UNC, and Illinois (according to scout)
Well I think I know why the AU plane was in Memphis, look who is visiting.
Greg King
Inside linebacker
Memphis (TN) Melrose
Ht: 6-foot-3
Wt: 200 lbs
Forty: 4.5 secs
Bench max: 315 pounds
Vertical: 30 inches
Class: 2009 (High School)
I say make durst fight dax dellenbach... winner gets a scholly
Shoemaker punts it for 20+ yds out at the LSU 49. LSU drives for the winning TD. Just to refresh the memory of some here.
I know his Scouts and Rivals profile says he has the offer, but ya know...does he really?
Oh damn!
How apporiate - VH1 Classic - "This is Spinal Tap" ....laters.
DoWhat?-
Thanks! I knew it wasn't there to see Graceland. It was annoying me that we didn't have a clue.
The only point that matters is this: You've got to have a punter. You're very likely gonna have a punter on scholarship. If you make Durst that punter, you've got a proven guy who will be around for three years.
If you don't make it Durst, you have to either go out and find another dude, which seems like a waste of time to me, or give it to Shoemaker, who Durst beat out and who also once fielded his own punt.
I'm not sure what having a new staff has to do with anything.
Our punter in high school kicked one backwards over his head once. It was spectacular
does shoemaker not have a scholly?
I cant wait for the first time I see Joel Kight wearing the Orange and Blue can Pop P.Smith one good time.....At least I can Dream
Josh Moon- Are you Durst Agent? or just the president of his fan club?
BIG BOTTOM,
BIG BOTTOM,
TALK ABOUT MUD FLAPS MY GIRL'S GOTT'EM
--- deep sigh ---
Yeah, the punter from the 5-7 team kept us from being 4-8.
GIVE HIM A CAR!
shoemaker is on scholarship. If Durst got one, that would make four scholarships dedicated strictly to special teams... that's too much
i hope we have the worst punter in the country next year, and clinton durst is the first punter ever selected in the 1st round of nfl draft
DoWhat I think the plane was in Memphis because Chizik was consulting with Jimmy Sexton on how to spin the Willis departure into a pay raise for himself.
Harrison, wasn't Ray Guy selected in 1st round?
Ok, the plane was in Scottsboro then heading to Atlanta, Hunstville, Mobile then back to Auburn.
Who all could they be visiting??
In addition to the game changer kick aginst LSU, Shoe also had a 7 yder in the 3rd qtr.
Josh, having a new staff means having a limited # of schollys available to rebuild the team.
THIS JUST IN: Some HC's don't give schollys to kickers.
Ryan Shoemakert - yeah, he can be the punter. He's not a guy who has never been in the arena.
But, regardless -- (add Alan Iverson here) -- The PUNTER? The PUNTER? We're talking PUNTERS? I mean we're not talking QBs but PUNTERS? Punters? Seriously, punters?
And don't give me - Auburn loses to Tenn and Ms ST without him -- SO WHAT? We're 3-9 or 4-8 and not the wonderful 5-7?
Name me the punter from the last 8 SEC champions and I'll agree, I guess.
believe me i want durst but i also agree with the new staff in valuing scholarships... the main error here is Tubbs giving a scholly to a long snapper... and we had a HABOTN debate for the ages about that back in the day.
crap. I don't know.
The plane was in Memphis so Trooper could convince a linebacker we're extremely lukewarm about to visit this weekend.
Bottom line Chris, if Durst is kincking in the LSU game, AU probably wins
Seriously guys Durst does NOT need a scholly because we are not going to punt next year. Gus adopted the Kevin Kell'Why Punt?' philosophy.
Why Punt?
Give the scholly to a DL or OL and move on.
That's my point.
OK, so Ray Guy was the first punter selected in the first round. Durst will be the next
Marty: David St. Hubbins... I must admit I've never heard anybody with that name.
David: It's an unusual name, well, he was an unusual saint, he's not a very well known saint.
Marty: Oh, there actually is, uh... there was a Saint Hubbins?
David: That's right, yes.
Marty: What was he the saint of?
David: He was the patron saint of quality footwear.
ballin, so what?
Now we're 6-6? Wait wait, a bowl game. I see it now.
We're Bammer with Mike Shula.
Clinton Durst better get his degree that's about ALL.
Astat-
but Ok State was hot enough on the Memphis LB to offer a scholly. TxTech, TN, and UAT also have offered, according to Scout.
So maybe AU is lukewarm because Super Luper Trooper haven't yet had a time to talk him up to the head man... you know, like Franklin did last year with Todd?
I was just pointing out how important the punter is. Yes I would rather be 6-6 than 3-9.
and another thing Josh Moon....
Durst was a junior he only had one year left to play.
Ok.
But what if being 9-3 or better ment giving a scholly to a DL or OL?
Again, for the life of me, I can't think of one punter who gained fame by punting for a champioship team.
I had no idea RM ... I thought he was a frosh.
I concur. Anyways we are gonna play Arena league style on offense next yr. No punter needed.
What LB in Memphis?
Greg King LB inMemphis
Thanks TarHeel - Don't Know too much about him
Arby's was good, but was it worth missing Jeopardy?
WTH happened here today...
This blog blew up after I left work..
Good work Hotties... I bet Jay is about to freak.
Maybe Alabama will offer the former punter a scholly. Lord knows we need a reliable punter.
PeterF-
I LOVE Arby's, but haven't eaten there in forever. Always would get 4 of them. YUM! Yes, it was worth missing Jeopardy.
yes, Peter. Don't you have a dvr?
Emmett, from what I've read he's a raw athletic talent that needs to learn football skills. Good size and speed, rated ***. The overall lack of interest could indicate problems that don't show up on film.
or could indicate problems with former recruiting. Not sayin it's so, just offering options
It appears to me that the previous coaching staff made a mistake with Shoemaker in giving him a scholly and then didn't coach him very well in order to have him at his best in his second year of punting. Durst was indeed the better punter last year, so tell me please why he had not been on scholarship either at AU or somewhere else before last year? Maybe he just appeared out of nowhere and magically began punting them out of sight with 4 second hang time on his first try.
Tuberville had no problem pulling scholly's from some of Tot's players when he arrived. I can't understand why Chizek would keep guys who can't get on the field and let his starting punter leave. He needs to grow some huuwaaaa. Durst is a junior, but he could go to basket weaving graduate school like all the redshirts and stretch his playing days.
yes, he did anon. Walked on as a junior, was a soccer player in h.s.
Durst had been playing futebol with Jay.
Anonymous- actually, that is exactly what happened
or were you jesting?
Maybe Alabama will offer the former punter a scholly. Lord knows we need a reliable punter.
I know you say that FSJ and I was hoping you replyed to this subject.
What game did Bammer's punter help win? Which punt in what situation won which game?
Loses are maube easier so I'll open up that question to. Which of the TWO games that Bammer lost did the PUNTER play a vital role in?
Am I wrong in thinking that schollys are a one year thing that can be renewed or dropped at the end of each year? I think that it was that way at one time. If it is still that way and you can pull them as has been indicated previously on this blog by saying Tubbs did that with some of Tot's boys, then why not give Shoemaker's scholly to Durst? Maybe there is more to this story tan meets the eye.
Speaking of people losing jobs, it's getting a little grim in the tech sector. IBM laid off 19k people on Tuesday and Microsoft announced 6k will be laid off.
yes Anon, scholly's are a one year contract.
Yep, when Tubs pulled the scholly's we learned they are year to year. The players' parents protested and Auburn found them jobs to pay for their schooling.
Astatguy
That is why I can't take some of this football nonsense to seriously. We have much more grim things facing us in this country in the near term than losing an assistant coach to the enemy and a punter that may have had his feelings hurt. There are some people tonight that are really hurting and have very little hope for the future. God bless them and all of us.
oh good lord.
Whoa whoa whoa whoa ---
When an athletic scholarships is pulled the said "player" is offerred a chance to stay on for and education for free.
Yes?
That's a common. Same with a player like Chaz Ramsey. He can't go and he gets a free scholly to study, right?
I was under the inpression that any kid who has his ATHELETIC scholly pulled still gets his EDUCATION paid for.
600
I agree Anon. I have some friends who're looking for work in a terrible job market. This thing is scary.
