Hey everyone. I have four days remaining in my Gannett-mandated furlough.

Please feel free to discuss issues as usual in the comment section. I hate this it has come to this, but it has. I blame capitalism. It's the best thing going, no doubt, but its faults cannot be ignored.

I choose Sully over Rocker for a couple of reasons: a) Rocker was one of many on the defense (that was probably the best defense we've ever had) and b) Sully made the offense go and was rewarded with college football's highest honor.

Ruthie makes my list because I believe that AU women's basketball has been such a strong performer through the years, and she was the glue of our best teams and had a long, prosperous career afterward.

The TTech Regents want to add a BC type coaches interview clause to the contract extension and Leach won't accept it.

CT - That's the way the weather is. Everyone's all geared up and prepared for thunderstorms and tornadoes, but weather sneaks one in with a rain event. Weather is sly like that.

sorry if I came off grumpy earlier. I got to miccosukee and there was a dead man in the road. had to turn around and backtrack all the way to alligator alley. that adds probably an extra 40 miles to my trip home.
