Hall of Fame adjustments
Hey everyone. As many of you learned in last night's Campfire, we will be holding our semi-annual Ring of Fire inductions this afternooon.The festivities begin around 2 p.m. CDT. We may or may not hold a Campfire.
The Ring of Fire is the highest honor one can achieve here. Inclusion requires unusual dedication, serially useful insights, humor, information and profound gibberish when necessary. Or other behaviors I deem worthy.
Before we make those announcements, though, we need to make some adjustments to our Feeling The Heat and Notable Newcomers categories. Before our soon-to-be stars were in the RoF, they were cutting their teeth as gritty up-and-comers.

What is this with ESPN and Auburn. Are they still pissed about Tubs calling them out? This is getting ridiculous. If Auburn makes it to the final 4 will ESPN decide to show reruns of Ohios State football games?

Peter- It feels empowering, doesn't it? A good figh five every now and then is great. It's when people over-do it and try to give fives on things that aren't five worthy- they are tarnishing the five and making it less meaningful.
Harrison- Yes, from what I saw of the most recent episode it was funny. I missed part of it because I forgot the new episodes were starting again this week. They hadn't had one since mid february. It was depressing.

Why did Scrubs blow so many of their episodes in one hour blocks earlier this year? I didn't like having to deal with a hiatus on a show that is only on for half the year anyway.

I think the last time I got a good night sleep multiple days in a row was during summer break of 2001. Since then, probably averaging an 8 hour night of sleep maybe once a month.
Mon - It is comical the "stress" they feel these days in school.
I am just hoping to continue to go to an office everyday, which is changing because they are closing mine in July. I get to work from home.
Michael - Depends if I drink..I may get a lot of sleep.

Thanks WEG. We are definitely the sandwich generation. In between my hospital stay, my husband and I had to drive down to Orange Beach on Tuesday to rescue my daughter who was Spring Breaking with 11 other sorority sisters. My mom was doing great when she left. She was worried about her grandma and wanted to come home. I did stay down there long enough to get me some boiled shrimp at Doc's Seafood Shack. We got home at 1:05 a.m. The things we do for our kids!

A few years ck when i use to deep sea fish we would take part of the days catch to Docs. and for a small fee they would cook it and serve the side dishes. Great people there.

3) I don't feel the least bit sorry for Jhag, when I went to high school in the stone ages (early to mid 2000's) I didn't get to read blogs in class (not sure I knew what a blog was), and I never got checked out to watch bball. (Although did get checked out from time to time to go ride dirtbikes and mountain bikes).
