We're all going to die (it's snowing in Montgomery)

(Picture updated @ 9:50 a.m.)

Hey everyone. I wanted to pass along the BIG NEWS that it's snowing in Montgomery. Don't worry about me: We bought five jugs of milk, three loaves of bread and enough propane to get us through May.

This is the first snow I've seen here since Easter of ... 2005?

  • The final game of the Auburn-FSU baseball series has been canceled ... due to snow. Seriously.

  • UP NEXT: I'll be BRAVING THE BLIZZARD and covering the Auburn-Arkansas women at 2 p.m. A win there (and possibly a loss depending on Vanderbilt's day) secures the Tigers' first outright SEC championship since 1989.

  1. I'll be braving a blizzard tonight. We're supposed to get 10-14 inches overnight. Luckily it's been warm the last few days and at least a foot of snow has melted off the ground. I can see actually see parts of my yard.

    ...First!

  2. Are you in northern Nova Scotia? That sounds like a lot of snow.

  3. It's craziness I tell you! Saturday night, before any weather arrives, Delta is canceling flights out of Atlanta. I'm going to the grocery store, because I'm required by law to do so, and get my ration of bread and milk before the entire southeast is under a 12 foot or 1/2 inch impenetrable sheet of snow and ice and all things wintry.

  14. It's kind of sad when there is more snow on the ground in Montgomery than there is here in Michigan. Who woulda thought?

  28. Jet, if running backs or O line had as much determination in them as Mrs. Jet had wanting that prize, we may have been in a BCS bowlgame.

  30. Chicago, Jay? Been there once. Knowing me, I might have made a joke at some point that implied I lived in Chicago. I've never shied away from trying to be funny, even at the expense of the truth.

  31. D. Miller, is Knology cable better than Charter? I have no other option but Charter, but I have wondered if Knology was any better.
