- On Jevan Snead (who de-committed from Florida to sign with Texas in 2005): "I love Jevan Snead. He has one of the great releases in college football."

- Is there anything annoying about Tebow?: "You caught me off-guard here. I can't share them right now because I'm not sure what they are. I'll keep thinking about that as we move along here."
- Why are Florida-based college teams typically very good? "How have you locked it down?": "We haven't locked it down. A big reason why I think Gainesville is the best job in America, you have a lot of talent within five hours in every direction. The quality of high-school football down there (in Florida) is incredible."

watch Grant's Rivals rating go through the roof. I'm counting on Howard being a surprisingly awesome RB.
I hope Grant has the same success on a collegiate level as Emmett Smith.

I finally got to see Saban's turn on ESPNews and I think he did a good job. I'm sorry he just doesn't generate the hate in me like he does for all of you.
I don't hate Saban like I hate Meyer and Kiffin. Seems like a jerk, but that is not a bad thing for a coach to be.

Goodwin is a major pickup. Yea, he we were thought to be his favorite, but this guy is probably the jewel of the class so far.
I don't hate the person, I just don't like shady doings that I think keep college football from being a level playing field.

Grant is a good player, but I think he did the right thing. We will get either Dyer or Seastrunk and possibly both. If so, Grant would likely end up riding the pine.

If you think you have the same familiar relationship with any of those coaches as you do with me I can see you thinking that (sort of). Maybe you are on first name basis with those coaches. I don't know. I haven't heard any of these coaches call any writer by his name, but I've only seen two of the coaches.

I'm new to posting here but I am Auburn to the core. I feel like if they play together it'll be at LSU but hey, it's late July and these are 17 year old kids!
I don't want to misspeak here, but I think Jay has mentioned that Dyer was a very strong possibility to sign with Auburn. Not sure if that meant he thought Dyer would be the only RB out of that group to sign with AU or not.

THTjr claims I'm not a true AU fan sometimes when I get all pessymystic. Of course, he's wrong. Expecting AU to win and then they don't takes many, many years off my life, not to mention ripping my heart clean out of my chest. So it's healthier to have a less shiny outlook.
