Things like that happen sometimes.
- Auburn has scheduled its Fan Day extravaganza for Aug. 16. It will not be in Beard-Eaves as usual. It's going to be in Jordan-Hare this time and will run from 2-4 p.m. I didn't see much in terms of program changes, though allegedly there will be "game worn" jerseys for sale.
- California DE Joel Bonomolo committed to Les Tigres late Wednesday night, our friends at the various Auburn-themed websites report. He attends a suburban Los Angeles junior college right now, but expects to be enrolled at Auburn in January. Bonomolo stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 245 pounds. He chose Les Tigres over a bunch of West Coast schools like Arizona and Arizona State.
- Auburn is about to begin what is expected to be a significant recruiting weekend. This will be the last significant recruiting weekend until at least September. Among the most high-profile visitors will be Arkansas TB Michael Dyer, Arkansas TE Dakota Mosley, Georgia DT Jeffrey Whitaker and Greenville HS DT Kenneth Carter.
Good substance
ReplyDeleteAs usual.
ReplyDeleteTalk about mixed feelings on Chaz... I really hate it for him and feel he is justified in everything he is doing... just hate the bad press and that it could occur at AU....
ReplyDeleteYou are a pillar in the Blogging community...

Once is enough, DL.
ReplyDeleteThe apron still is appreciated, I should note.
It's sad that the best part of my day is scrambling for the new link whenever the new thread notice comes up. I need some excitement in my life.
ReplyDeleteYay for Fan Day! Who else will be attending? My 3 year old daughter has been wanting to see Aubie for awhile now, so I'll be there.
ReplyDeleteI think Dear Leader just refreshes all day long till he sees a new thread ;)!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou can google Jenna Fischer, J-Z. I do that ... occasionally.
ReplyDeleteEhyou ... To answer question from previous thread ... Past transgressions are manageable. Sovereign immunity would be useful for the future.
ReplyDeleteJ&M hasn't heard of any pep rally or toilet paper rumors :-(
ReplyDeletesometimes i even "google" myself
ReplyDeleteHarrison, you're always making me google.
ReplyDeletefor the record...
ReplyDeleteI have never googled Harrison.
you're missing out
ReplyDeleteJayGT - I love the picture you used for this latest thread. Any chance you could change "west coast" to "PAC-10"? I'd sure feel better.
ReplyDeletehe's right, ehyou:
ReplyDeleteResults 1 - 10 of about 78,200,000 for harrison
Thanks for the love, Luv.
ReplyDeleteYay I get to stay in B'ham an extra day!
Steve is in Alabama and that's why he's been silent.
It doesn't seem fair that I have to suffer my sister's in law's does it? I may hide in my basement apartment.
THT - I loved your fable tease. Also, no new info from you-know-who's FB status. Sorry.
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteSo Ahmad Dixon and Lache Seastrunk aren't making the trip, oh yeah and Trovon Reed, great....
ReplyDeleteEric Mack the big OL man commits to USCe yesterday after many thought he was a silent commit to chiz
oh boy
We're making a lot of noise in recruiting, but so far it's just been a bunch of noise.
ReplyDeleteHopefully we'll get some results out of all this effort. I'd hate to think Tub was right in that we just need to settle for our 3 stars and try to coach them up.
bummer, i didn't see where Mack committed to USC.
ReplyDeleteJenna Fischer is a solid google. Harrison google? hmmm.... we'll see.
jhag, you're killing me. On the bright side, I would love to see Whitaker commit to Auburn. Top D-Lineman are a must-have. On the other hand, so are O-Lineman, and I don't see much action on that front. Are the coaches going to hit the JUCO's even harder to find some O-Linemen?
ReplyDeleteoh, and i'll be at Fan Day Eddie. wouldn't miss it. i'll be available to take photos of you cuddled up with Tyrik if you wish. ;)
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Sports Illustrated SEC Preview is about to come out..
ReplyDeleteSEC
I love football season
random question, but has anyone ever played Madden on the Wii? i want a PS3 but my wife is begging for a Wii. since NCAA10 is now on the Wii i figured i may be able to sneak it into the hizzie. just wondered how the gameplay was. awkward?
ReplyDeletethank goodness i'll be able to guy the Tennessee version of SI and miss the Nutt/Saban covers. yack.
ReplyDeleteall the "noise" is starting to sound like a bunch of bad gas :-(
ReplyDeleteMon - Sorry it was only a tease. It was the only thing I ever wrote that was good, but I can't remember it. The student teacher said she and her mom were crying from laughing so hard.... I miss Nubs.
Hopefully, the Saban Worshippers will buy all of the copies before I have to see one at the store. What happened to the old days when SI sent out one issue to the whole country?
ReplyDeleteThe internet killed those days. Magazine sales are down so they try every gimmick to get copies sold.
ReplyDeleteScottie- Let's be sure to say hi as you snap my photo. I'll be needing a customized jersey and a customized T-Shirt for the Rolling with Rollison Express.
ReplyDeleteAs for game jersey's for sale, Frank Cox, the old equipment manager, used to sale them for $45, I wonder what the price will be for these.
wait, why the heck is Fan Day on a Sunday? they trying to hurt the out-of-town AU man? that's a long drive back on a Sunday afternoon. CONSPIRACY!
ReplyDeleteRK, I can understand their thinking, but it doesn't carry as much prestige as it once did to make the SI cover. I can remember when that was something to brag about.
ReplyDeleteYeah, they are pumping it up like saban is the only coach on the cover of SI this month over on AL.anygoonthatcanaffordacomputerwillbedrawnherelikeabugtoaflame. Has saban started to breathe through his mouth? Looks like he is on the cover. Houston Nutts cover has to be the best one i have seen, though.
ReplyDeleteEddie, who actually owns the jerseys after the season is over? Does the Athletic Department keep them, or do players have an opportunity to keep one for themselves?
ReplyDeleteDepressed- It depends. If Auburn goes to a bowl game, every player gets to keep their Jersey as part of the "Bowl Gifts" they receive. As for the jersey's worn in the season, usually family members or the players will buy them at the old stated price of $45. And for those that don't buy them all, it is usually sold to those within the program and some select few outsiders. They have more than just a home and away jersey per player, so there is usually plenty of extras. I have a Willie Gosha & Jeno James Jersey and I bought my brother a Pat Nix Jersey while I was there.
ReplyDeleteOne other thing Depressed, SR's usually get to keep their jersey's along with their helmets.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to sneak me a helmet out while I was there, but I had an inside source get me one which is currently in my office.
It looks like Tiger Woods just double bogeyed the 10th. He is going to have to fight to make the cut.
ReplyDeletegood. i love to see tiger pout and blow off reporters after he stinks it up. Anybody else that does that gets killed in the media
ReplyDeleteMaybe he just acts like that because he has diarrhea, Harrison. Lots of people have diarrhea.
ReplyDeleteany of y'all watch the tour de france? If I had even one iota of mechanical skills, I'd probably be riding a bike somewhere off road. But alas, even the most minor of bike-related mechanical malfunctions are an overwhelming task for me.
ReplyDeleteReally bummed about Levi Leipheimer breaking his wrist.
now there's a topic I know something about
ReplyDelete*is
ReplyDeletethe diarrhea, not tour de france
ReplyDeleteAt least Levi has that cool name to fall back on, THT.
ReplyDeleteHow does one deal with diarrhea during the Tour de france?
ReplyDeleteI thought you meant diarrhea on a bike
ReplyDeleteyes, Michael, he does have that.
ReplyDeleteI am envisioning a bike seat with a hole in it might make me millions with long distance bike riders...
ReplyDeletetake your seat off the bike could help stop diarrhea
ReplyDeleteTHT- I watch. I love that it is in HD this year. It is absolutely stunning to watch it in HD. Looking forward to tomorrow's stage. The last 6 stages have had little drama as expected, I think tomorrow will be the day to watch.
ReplyDeleteMichael- As long as you direct the release onto your opponents with the hose, then you might be on to something. A competitve advantage.
ReplyDeleteyes Eddie, that and the chance to have fried okra tonight are two good reasons I should stay home this weekend.
ReplyDeletelike the oil slick on "spy hunter"
ReplyDeleteHarrison, your solution sounds equal parts effective and painful. Or maybe just painful.
ReplyDeleteEddie - great idea. I will share .75% of the profits with you, not to exceed the amount of $13
ReplyDeleteI hope this discussion doesn't make the next Senate HABOTN resolution.
ReplyDeletethe hose comment reminded me, via my loose association illness, of my favorite poem, The Death of the Ball-turret Gunner.
ReplyDelete"When I died, they washed me out of the turret with a hose."
Michael- i'll take my profits in advance, you can go ahead and thru pay pal.
ReplyDeleteI doubt Jet is taking notes today!
ReplyDeleteJet being a government employee, only physically has to be at work on Friday's, mentally, he is allowed to check out on Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteMkay 50 Dias
ReplyDeleteWhat up, jhag?
ReplyDeleteHave you picked a school yet?
Eddie, I bet those jerseys and helmet make nice displays at your house. I can remember seeing jerseys (supposedly)used by Cadillac, Campbell, etc on a website for between $400-$500. I'm interested to see what the prices are at Fan Day.
ReplyDeleteIsla Fisher>Jenna Fischer
ReplyDeleteJust saying...
That being said, saw my first Auburn billboard in Atlanta yesterday on Peachtree-Industrial. If the goal was to make people think about Auburn/Auburn football, Auburn/Auburn football was not on my mind at the time until I saw the billboard so I guess, mission accomplished.
depressed, my wife & i have an AU room at our house and have all 12 SEC helmets displayed on a bookshelf that i built. they look pretty sweet. i don't have 'game used' helmets, though. that would be even better.
ReplyDeleteYou know what pisses me off, is when someone walks into your office that you don't know and says the three most hated words in thew world, rtr. Of course he was here to collect the trash.
ReplyDeleteone of my best ($$$) customers here is a bammer. he gives me grief in my office every day. it is annoying.
ReplyDeleteScottie- They usually sell game worn helmets after spring practice from anywhere from $125 to $250 depending on the condition of the helmet.
ReplyDeletescottieB - you must remove the toxic filth immediately! Eleven helmets are more than enough.
ReplyDeletethey look pretty sweet all together THT. i need to update my blog with all the additions we've done to the room. here's a preview if u wanna check it out:
ReplyDeletewww.weaglewagon.blogspot.com
i tried to make a link but with no success. :(
Eddie, trash coming in, trash going out. It is amazing to see a seemingly decent person turn into an instant jerk when the subject of Alabama football comes up. This is the rule, rather than the exception in my experience.
ReplyDeletescottie b, I've seen some of your displays on the wall in your blog profile. Looks great!
ScottieB - I'm sorry, but I have not yet reached your level of maturity. I will not allow anything of the sort in my house. And no doubt MrsTHT would divorce me if I did.
ReplyDeleteHere is the link to Scottie's blog. Just pay no attention to his halloween costume. That is horrid.
ReplyDeleteScottie's Blog
Nothing decided yet, I've applied to Ole Miss, I will apply to Auburn, and FSU in August... Those three are the main choices...I might apply to the University of Texas just for giggles who knows
ReplyDeletejhag, you know we all favor Auburn, but if I had to go to another school, Texas would be right there. Austin is awesome and so are the women, just don't tell my wife.
ReplyDeleteSo, I sold exactly diddley at the ATL AU Club shindig last night. It was still fun to be there, though. The highlight was Tracy Rocker stopping by my booth and chatting for five minutes or so. When he spoke to the group, something I found interesting was that when he was on the Arky sidelines last year, he said he thought to himself, "That ain't Auburn. That's not how Auburn plays."
ReplyDeleteLook slike Tiger's gonna miss the cut, I bet they still talk about him all weekend anyway
ReplyDeleteEveryone have a great rest of the day, I'm off to the ATL to watch the Braves and Mets and see Greg Maddux's jersey get retired.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the game RK. I hope you stay dry.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, also last night Coach Rocker had high praise for Zach Clayton and Eltoro Freeman. Of course, he claimed not to know much about offense, but said he was really impressed with Lee Ziemba.
ReplyDeletethanks Depressed. i think we're at 70 or 71 framed prints/photos/etc.
ReplyDeleteTHT, when i started my little project i was in grad school at UK and my wife was in school at UT. when we bought our 1st house 2 years ago it exploded.
Jhag, my sister works at FSU and loves it.
ReplyDeleteRK, that's AUsome. i fell asleep in the 7th last nite and missed the end of the game. glad the braves pulled it out.
cool u got to chat with The Rock last nite S-Choc. what exactly did he mean by "that's not how AU plays"? i'm assuming the offense?
Yeah, mostly the offense. He couldn't believe they were trying the finesse approach, and he definitely insinuated that they weren't playing tough, hard-nosed football.
ReplyDeleteBesides Rocker, probably the most well-known former player there was Ken Rice, although there were 7 or 8 others.
Rice was a beast in his day. i would like to meet him.
ReplyDeletejhag, I was going to say what Eddie said, but an urgent work related event called me away. So...
ReplyDeleteDitto what Eddie said. Choose FSU only if in-state tuition is critical. Ole Miss is in the middle of nowhere, but it still isn't Auburn.
i want to take this opportunity to ditto THT who previously ditto'd Eddie.
ReplyDeleteditto unto others what you would have ditto'd unto you.
ReplyDeletedang it! I had Beasley and didn't know it!
ReplyDeleteSchmalz
Ditto
ReplyDeletei will trump your Schmalz and give you #90 Alton Moore!
ReplyDeletecrap Eddie. how about #92 Craig Ogletree.
ReplyDeleteI though Ogletree was 94?
ReplyDeleteNow he's 94.
ReplyDeleteScottie, I graduated high school with one #90 Alton Moore. At least I think he graduated.
ReplyDeletejhag, explain again why, if you have a chance to go to Auburn, you would go somewhere else.
ReplyDeleteOgletree was #94. i'm working on my 2nd Peach Nehi. it may have gone to my brain.
ReplyDeleteAh, Craig Ogletree. Haven't heard that name in a long. I like that name as much as I like Benji Roland.
ReplyDeleteI'm outta here. Lake Martin is calling me. Have a great weekend everyone.
ReplyDeletetoo bad we won't be hearing the name Alec Ogletree
ReplyDeletetoo bad I killed, or at least seriously disabled the thread
ReplyDeleteIt will revive.
ReplyDeleteI see a pulse, faint, but a pulse none-the-less.
ReplyDeleteAll hype leading up to this potentially big weekend seems to have died, but I could be wrong.
jhag: College of Charleston.
ReplyDeleteIs anyone else worried that we aren't getting any OL recruit love?
ReplyDeleteThis is not the best year for OL recruiting and most of the best are already committed. I had hoped to see some surprise OL attendees for this weekend. There is still a chance..and if it happens, it will be a huge surprise.
Summer commitments mean ... not that much.
ReplyDeleteIs C of C still just a preppy, expensive party school?
ReplyDeleteAustin, Tx. is awesome.
CofC would definitely be a good choice, I looked at going there but in the end up I ended up going to school in Atlanta before transferring to Auburn.
ReplyDeletei had a friend who went to Emory in the ATL. she was smokin' hottt.
ReplyDeleteUnless it's Washington & Lee, I'm not a huge fan of highly expensive private schools to which I never could have gained admission. How can you not like a school named after Washington & Lee?
ReplyDeleteI do not consider Wake Forest to be in that "highly expensive private school..." category. That is my 2nd favorite ACC school.
ReplyDeleteWhen I graduated I thought I wanted to go to a small private school so I chose between Rhodes, Sewanee, Emory and Oglethorpe (where I went up going). It took me less then a semester to realize that a small school wasn't for me so I came to Auburn. With by brother being an alumnus of W&L I always loved visiting but I don't think I could of cut it there.
ReplyDeletetexas a & m, if you must go to a texas school. hook em horns grates on me like rtr.
ReplyDeletethe only ACC schools i have been to are Virginia, FSU, & Georgia Tech. i went up the UVA for the '97 AU game. it was a beautiful, historic campus but it was full of wealthy snots. i couldn't go there.
ReplyDeleteTAMU irritates me b/c they don't have female cheerleaders. that's just wrong.
ReplyDeleteI inherited an autosomal dominant "must go to Auburn" gene from my father, so I never wanted to go anywhere else. If I didn't have that gene, W&L or UNC would have been my choices, though the former would not have chosen me.
ReplyDeletebut that being said, i'd go there over Texas.
ReplyDeleteI would go to Arizona State. I guess you guys can figure out why
ReplyDeleteJay...I agree with that conventional wisdom, except that Mark Richt successfully started the early commit routine a few years ago and notice how many early commits there are now.
ReplyDeleteHopefully we can locate some of the many recruits that blossom their senior year.
I always pull for TAMU vs TX, (my addiction to underdogs), but I'd definitely prefer schooling in Austin over College Station.
ReplyDeleteHarrison - because you want to surf at a West Coast school?
ReplyDeleteHarrison - you have a thing for chalupas?
ReplyDeleteI now have a favorite hottie. After watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which by the way was really funny, I think Mila Kunis should be the official HABOTN Hottie!
ReplyDeleteThere should be no discussion about Texas vs. A&M, UT wins hands down, I would love to go to grad school there.
ReplyDeletetht- you can read my like a book
ReplyDeleteif you could read
ReplyDeleteBack in the day...C of C lead the way in "Wealthy Snots".
ReplyDeleteCollege Station is very drab compared to Austin, Tx.
i'm sure Austin is ausome and is a great place to party/study/party but i have this bama feeling towards the Horns. just don't like 'em. but i've already studied at 3 SEC schools so it's moot for me anyways.
ReplyDeleteHarrison - lots of pop-up pictures? I could handle a book like that. Otherwise, don't worry, my hired assistant will read it to me.
ReplyDeleteUTx is a great school with good reason to feel all important about itself. How on earth could you equate that to UAT?
ReplyDeletegood day to all.. I have been galavanting (sp?) around the US, but I am back in Mobile. I am about to change my profile pic to something I think Jay G will appreciate.
ReplyDeletei've met my share of UT & TAMU students and i guess it's the "i'm better than you are attitude" that makes me really dislike TX. and no, my HATE level is on another plain when it comes to the bammers THT. no need to worry.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Bear. I hope you had fun.
ReplyDeletewhattup Bear?! good to hear from ya. lookin' good in your HABOTN gear!
ReplyDeletei went to unc for an auburn game once. very nice campus. as we were pulling in, however (it was about 3 am) traffic was held up while the campus police removed a passed out frat guy and his couch from the middle of the road. the frat guy looked very surprised!
ReplyDeletejhag...
ReplyDeleteMake your campus visits. There's usually one place that really stands out. I went into the process unbiased, but that place was obviously Auburn for me.
I visited UAT with a completely open mind. I felt dirty when I left, no kidding.
welcome back, Bear!
ReplyDeletethanks guys.. as i traveled from Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and back home, I definately took the opportunity to snap this pic. Bear reppin' the Hotties at Mt. Rushmore...
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe I gotta go back to work August 5th. I guess teachers no longer get 3 months off. I know, I know, I get a lot more vacation than most, but come October/November, I will be surrounded by 160ish 12-13 year olds daily. Hormones, attitudes, ahhh, middle school
ReplyDeleteCool trip Bear. Were you as disappointed with the size of Mt. Rushmore as I was? I expected it to be huge, but it just seemed so small, but I was 14 at the time, so maybe it was expectations. Beautiful territory out there with the badlands.
ReplyDeletevery nice, Bear!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's peculiar Bear82. All the photos I took of Mount Rushmore only have 3 faces on them.
ReplyDeleteI love photoshop.
Oh how the mighty have fallen. Wayne Newton will be appearing in Charleston, WV.
ReplyDeleteWayne Newton's still alive!?!?
ReplyDeleteDaddy don't you walk so fast!
Eddie, Rushmore was, well, a bit smaller than I excpected; however Pikes Peak and Rocky Mountain National Park were out of this world. THT- the fourth hear was carved recently; it was of Jay G as a congrats to the best blog on the net..
ReplyDeleteLadarius Owen's headed to Auburn today to get campy.
ReplyDeleteStill alive and still with No. 9 Waitress Black hair.
ReplyDeleteok, i'm confused. who has #9 waitress black hair? you or Ladarius?
ReplyDeleteWayne Newton
ReplyDeleteIs this true of just a joke?
ReplyDelete"John Parker Wilson is signing autographs @ Martin's Family Clothing in Gadsden from 2:30 - 4:00."
My buddy Patrick used to sell shpes at that Martin's
ReplyDeleteshoes
ReplyDeleteNewton, gotcha. he was great in 'Vegas Vacation'.
ReplyDeletenope. gotta be true. you better hurry up before J-Dub is gone.
did it say whose autographs he was signing?
ReplyDeletei'm a big autograph collector so i think that kind of stuff is cool (if it's AU). the funny part was the Martin's Family Clothing.
ReplyDeletegood one tht
ReplyDeleteI'm a little autograph collector. If they write like John Hancock, I don't want it.
ReplyDeleteIt would be great to hand him a Quentin Groves picture for him to sign.
ReplyDeleteoh, ehyou, that's right. i have a signed pic by Quentin drilling him from the '06 game. having both sigs together would make my heart smile.
ReplyDeleteTHT, what autographs r u into?
HAHAHAH ehyou - now that's rich
ReplyDeleteBear -- that means a lot.
ReplyDeleteI love the HABOTN remote pics. I have one of The Daughter on the Santa Monica Pier in her HABOTN shirt.
Monnie, i facebook'd a buddy of mine who lives in Gadsden and he and his little boy are at the store waiting to meet JPW. no lie.
ReplyDeletewow - it's true...
ReplyDeleteJPW at Martin's and Wayne Newton in Charleston, WV. It's true what they say. The sun don't shine on the same dawg's ass forever.
ScottieB - I was just being a 'tard. I don't collect autographs any more. I have most of the 1966 Green Bay Packers that I got one weekend in Baltimore. Even got to visit with my bammer hero, Bart Starr. We sold him some extra tickets we had.
ReplyDeleteMonica -that was great! I hadn't heard that b4
ReplyDeletethat's cool you got to meet him & sell him your tickets THT. a lot different now, eh?
ReplyDeletei was a pretty shy kid and didn't do the autograph thing as a youngster. however, i've spent the past 5 years or so making up for that.
What's goin' on hotties??
ReplyDeleteMonica,
ReplyDeleteYou so make me laugh!
Sports talk radio is getting more and more bizarre. This morning I listened to Opening Drive discuss whether or not Tim Tebow is gay - for about an hour. Then I listened to Roundtable discuss Captain Morgan rum with two guests for about 30 minutes. I know rum is important to many sports fans, but a 30 minute commercial when they are supposed to be talkin' sports? C'mon! Let's talk football.
ReplyDeletecincy - why wasn't your ipod on?
ReplyDeleteMy new car will have an mp3 outlet and it will be on!
ReplyDeleteTim Tebow's gay?......careful or Hugh Nall might challenge his manhood.
ReplyDeleteMomma said: If you talk long enuff...you'll eventually say sumthin' stoopid. Sports talk radio talks too long.
what do you mean it will have? you car doesn't already have it? or are you saying you don't have your new car?
ReplyDeleteMon - cincy is still waiting for them to locate the car she is going to purchase.
ReplyDeleteFriday Puppet Hours are almost always uneventful.
ReplyDeleteAnyone interested in going to the UT game?
ReplyDeleteI reserved a 3 BDR timeshare condo (very nice, sleeps 10) in Sevierville for that weekend. This is way too much space for 1 person. I'd love to share it with some Hotties. Drop me a line if interested.
Yes, Monica, I am still waiting. But, they have found me one - coming straight from the factory the end of the month.
ReplyDeleteI think they thought they could out wait me and I would settle for my second choice color - but I can be very stubborn!
ReplyDeleteNoVa - sure wish I could take you up on that, but I have the distinct displeasure of working that weekend :-(
ReplyDeleteCincy - way to go!
Are you saying you're going to let a little thing like work get in the way of football? ;-)
ReplyDeletedon't worry, I'll be careful not to be at work during the game. Although last time that happened I think was the 2003 game vs UF. hmmm
ReplyDeletescallops & shrimp pasta plus homemade crabcakes for dinner. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteTHT,
ReplyDeleteWhat time is dinner? We are going to Outback, which is great because that means I'm not cooking!
Just finished a delicious New York Strip......
ReplyDeleteDessert.....chocolate cheesecake.
I'm not a bad cook if I do say so myself.
In a recent interview, Michael Dyer was asked if he was a silent commit to Auburn. His response was laughter followed by "yea, that might be true."
ReplyDelete1292 - now that's some positive posting! THanks for sharing :=)
ReplyDeletecincy - dinner is over, including my large bowl of ice cream mixed with Biscoff cookies
Perhaps FSJ should cater the HABOTN tailgate!
ReplyDeleteWalter Cronkite passed away.
ReplyDeleteWith the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11, I've been remembering his broadcasts of that event. I don't know if it was naiveté or if he really earned it, but I haven't really trusted a newsman since he retired.
And that's the way it is.
Dyer video from today's 7-on7:
ReplyDeleteDyer has AU #1
The more I hear from this kid the more I really like him. He and Seastrunk seem like two very intelligent young men.
Just to clarify that 7-on-7 was in Arkansas not here.
ReplyDeleteBigCat,
ReplyDeleteI just watched this video and I really like Dyer. I'd love to have a team made up of quality guys like he seems to be.
what a great young man. Thanks for sharing that, BigCat.
ReplyDeleteIf I were Petrino, I'd make time to talk to him.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope Chiz is keeping in close touch.
Cincy I couldnt agree more!! I have been just as impressed with the personalities of many of these recruits as I have been with their athletic ability. Another gold star for this coaching staff in my book.
ReplyDelete200 within sight.
ReplyDelete200's no problem.
ReplyDeleteMy allergies are driving me insane!!! I am about ready to jump off a tall building, this is nuts!
ReplyDeleteNoVa,
Do tickets come with the condo??
someone needs to turn the page.
ReplyDeleteRIP Walter Cronkite
ReplyDeleteEverything comes to an end.
ReplyDelete
