ReplyDeleteGood Job API!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had known about your two free tics, I paid $65 to sit in RR.
ReplyDeleteI ended up just selling them to a scalper at the suggestion of Knoxville PD when I told them I found the tickets. I only sold them for $40 per the pair. I guess i could have gotten more :). I only sold after I couldn't find an Auburn fan to give them to. Also, of all games, as I was walking in I was offered a couple more free tickets in the Auburn section. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteSometimes luck is with you, and as Jim Fiffe used to say "I'd rather be lucky than good"
ReplyDeleteEddie,
ReplyDeleteYour story about finding tickets is very similar to one I have for the 1993 Sugar Bowl.
Right after midnight on early New Year's morning I was walking back to the Hilton Riverside and came upon something folded in half on the ground. Turns out it was a Sugar Bowl ticket. I assume the poor guy/gal had the ticket in their front pocket and either pulled it out when they pulled out their keys or something. I couldn't very well determine whose ticket it was because there were a jillion people around. So the next morning I gave it to some Alabama fan for free that was looking for a ticket. I often wonder what happened when they went to sit by the person that had the other half to that pair. Surely the person that lost the ticket wasn't in New Orleans alone but you never know.
Good story FSJ. That is one heck of a game to find a ticket for.
ReplyDeleteIntersting weekend in the SEC, all home teams lost, except for USC.
ReplyDeleteI was too afraid to try to sell it. With my luck I would have been arrested for scalping and missed the game due to being in jail.
ReplyDeleteHope that trend continues next week API!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home JGT.
ReplyDeleteI agree FSJ....I only sold them after the police suggested I do so. I feel sorry for whoever lost the tickets. That has to absolutely ruin your day.
ReplyDeleteBaltimore is going to win this game and I'm OK with that.
ReplyDelete10-19 and counting...
ReplyDeleteSensi- huh?
ReplyDeleteI think that is the Chiz's record thusfar, over the last 3 seasons as a HC.
ReplyDeleteThanks API. I think i'm sleep deprived right now. The bed is going to be calling me early tonight after only 4.3 hours of sleep last night.
ReplyDeleteImproving.
ReplyDeleteThat's good.
Get some sleep, Eddie$.
