Troy chatter

Hey everyone. I am kicking it with one of my college buddies today, a powerful executive by the name of Jacques Brousseau, and will be watching the GMAC Bowl.

Most of the HOTTIES have at least a neutral feeling about the Troy Trojans, guided by former Auburn quarterback and assistant coach Larry Blakeney.

Norm said...: Morning Hotties - snow coming to the N. ATL area this afternoon/evening which means road closures, mass casualties and the required $0.20+ increase in a gallon of gas over the last 3 days. I hate the cold but if it snows I'll stay home tomorrow & maybe enjoy playing with the future 4* in it just a bit.

Anyway, I have 3 UAT fans (1 I know graduated there, not sure about the others) on my floor. The graduate was absolutely amazed when I told him I would not, could not root for his team in the game. I hope UAT loses every single game, contest, match or exhibition they're playing. The only time I might feel differently is if it winds up benefiting AU in the rankings, in such case I root for the UAT opponent to lose rather root for UAT to win. It's a fine psychological line but it works for me and helps me sleep better that way.

Had to take my old van to get the radiator replaced. Will probably cost more than it's worth but it still runs and looks good so I will pay the piper.

Question: As an Auburn fan will I cheer for Alabama when they play Texas in
the National Championship Game?

I would have to say not "No" but hell "No". In fact on the day of the
National Championship I plan on waking up and eating some Tex-Mex food
which would include Texas Toast dipped in Texas Pete hot sauce. Then I will
sit down and watch episodes of Walker Texas Ranger on TV. Then I might rent
the movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre. When I tire of that I will do the Texas
Two Step while listening to the band Little Texas singing my favorite song
"Deep in the Heart of Texas ". All while wearing the hat of my favorite
baseball team the Texas Rangers. I wouldnt cheer for Alabama if Charles
Manson or the Taliban was playing for the other team.
