This guy is spot on in assessing the Penguins league-leading inconsistency: I think the Penguins are good enough to win the Stanley Cup, but I’m not sure they’re good enough to make the playoffs. At this point, I won’t be surprised if either happens.

The PREDS are solidly in the playoff picture, but they are going to have to up their game if they want to get deep into the playoffs. I know, I know... the Stanley Cup is in the bag!

michael said...: i bought a bell pepper and a poblano pepper plant so that i won't have to wait forever on those peppers. Did some more seedlings that hopefully I don't ruin, but they won't be yielding fruit until July or so probably. all the jalapenos were on another shelf of the greenhouse down lower where it wasn't so hot, so they weren't affected.

Gonna plant a bunch of things in the garden when I get a chance. Got some tomatoes and squash and zuchini ready to go

Oh, and this weekend we were at a basktball game, and my 7yo daughter was looking at the score and commented "I hate odd numbers," and I thought of you THT.

MrsTHT wasn't there to supervise, so I forgot a small sofa that had not been moved to the "staging area", i.e. the foyer. So instead of spending the night in W-S and attending Easter Sunrise service in God's Acre in Old Salem, we drove the truck back to CH Sat night and returned to W-S the next day with the sofa and some other odds & ends.

He is a solo CPA/Atty. For the first 30 some odd years, he would take one full week of vacation every three years so they'd have enough time for a trip to Europe or wherever. The intervening two years he would take two 1-day vacations for long weekends. At age 70, he's getting soft, now taking two 2 day vacations/year. He plans to work until he is 99.
