I don't understand the willingness of some folks to waste a year of Kodi's eligibility just to give him some trivial role during a game. AU doesn't need a Tebow option and Field is an adequate back-up QB. Fla didn't have a trustworthy backup and they found a way to make good use of Tebow while Leak was finishing up his career...and to give their back-up some experience. This is a good year for Kobi to learn the system and have 4 years of eligibility left after Cox graduates.
I agree totally.
People forget that Burns graded out at 61% in the first scrimmage, and not much better the second time. He's not ready to play within a system.
Had Burns been there in the spring (as Tebow did in 06), things might be different.
Thanks for the updated depth chart preview, I feel that the decision of Reggie Hunt to attend AU is going to be a super p/u, the kid is super fast. Thanks again Jay for making this the HOTTEST blog on the web!
It's my pleasure making this the HOTTEST Auburn blog on the 'net. Thanks for serially checking it out.
