Jay, i'm getting nothing on the video could possibly be just my computer.
I'll post another version. Maybe that will work.
Money. Nice Job.
DeRon Furr situation: I'm glad it ended this early... it could have been alot worse. He's like the crazy girlfriend that you break up with after two months before she can start slashing tires and spreading rumors about you. The departure will be best for both sides.
I don't think he was out of control or anything. He's upset that teammates bum-rushed him at practice. He took a few days to consider options and elected to hit the road.
Seems reasonable. He'll play somewhere and be at least decent. Cash money says he'll be playing quarterback at that as-yet-unannounced destination.
I can already see the "human interest" piece on gameday about 3 years from now about DeRon Furr's near death experience as a freshman at Auburn and how he has overcome that to lead (insert 1AA team) to it's first playoff birth in years. As ridiculous as ESPN is about blowing things out of proportion, the Bret Farve mess might be the only thing that keeps this story off the national headlines. I actually agree with Fred on this issue.
Doesn't seem like the "bum rush" was strictly based on the lack of effort in one drill though. But that is speculation on my part though. Who knows? In three days he will probably never get mentioned again.
Oh, it wasn't a one-day deal. Not at all.
