Halftime/Third Quarter, LSU 17-14
- LSU 17, AUBURN 14: Four plays. Eighty-nine yards. Just an incredible drive. Auburn has a 4th-and-1 on the other end of the field. Chris Todd is intercepted on a pass. LSU seizes all the momentum with a response drive. Tony Franklin: What was that?
- AUBURN 14, LSU 10: Chris Mitchell scores on a 39-yard pass from Jarrett Lee. Spencer Pybus hit Lee hard as he threw, but Mitchell was so far ahead of Neiko Thorpe in coverage that a slight underthrow wasn't problematic. That's a big drive because Auburn was in prime position to put the game away just moments ago. Now? Not so much.
Here are some halftime stats I find interesting:
- PASSING
- LSU: 2-of-11 for 16 yards
- AUB: 5-of-12 for 84 yards
- LSU: 2-of-11 for 16 yards
- RUSHING
- LSU: 24 carries for 89 yards
- AUB: 17 rushes for 49 yards
- LSU: 24 carries for 89 yards
- THIRD DOWNS
- LSU: 2 of 9
- AUB: 2 of 6
- LSU: 2 of 9
- JARRETT LEE (LSU's RFr. quarterback)
- 0-of-5, 1 interception returned for touchdown
- 0-of-5, 1 interception returned for touchdown

"I don't understand what happened there."
Don't question it Jay, just accept it!!!
war eagle!
That was a weird looking play.
Nice drive to a point
To go from ...
1st-and-10 at the LSU 19
to
4th-and-26 at the LSU 35
is really not good.
We were getting somewhere, then threw up on our shoes again.
How did that happen?
Where's Ashton Kutcher because we just got punk'd?!?
Great call by Miles on the onside kick. They couldn't do anything with it, but great call nonetheless.
Impressive stand by the D
Jay G,
How did Robert Dunn get that?
Ouch. That doesn't look good for Brad.
Can we stop running draws on third down?
Big defensive play by LSU
i know there was pressure, but am i wrong to think that the weak arm resulted in that INT to trott.....especially when billings was coming accross the middle open?
I don't understand the thinking on the 4th-and-1 rollout pass.
That may be the one that costs Auburn. Just bizarre.
This is all going south fast.
yes, i agree the play call was also terrible, but was simply complaining about the execution....... i may need to finally get me an id here....
The weak arm hurt, but the qb had toreset and then throw b/c of a rusher, that is wht Trott had to wait.
TD--LSU....The DLine is TIRED.
Todd is running th O as well as he can and it seems that LSU is now outmanning our Oline. I don't think the O can score again without Kodi's unpredictability in the game. Simply running the offense will not work against LSU, epsecially with a weak arm. They have now sized us up and are waiting. Time for Trick plays
