Getting things started, 9/20
Hey everyone. Early day for me on the soccer fields here in Montgomery. The Charge won its exhibition game, 5-2, with a goal from my daughter. Very exciting. She later allowed two goals. She's avoiding gulag ... for now.
Enough of that. We've got big-time college football ahead.
I'll begin my journey toward the Plains at 2:45 p.m. Auburn's late start means I'll have a chance to see America's Richest Coach command his gilded team in Fayetteville. I wonder how geeked Robert Petrino will be for this one. This would be a nice affirmation for him.
Anyway, I'm planning to produce a pre-game video for your enjoyment. My goal, as always, is to get that up at least one hour prior to kickoff. So if it's the 6 o'clock hour and you're going to fetch another beer anyway, stop by the HABOTN and check out some video.

GA Tech already has 7 times the amount of points on Miss State than we did and it's early in the 2nd quarter.
Hopefully we've fixed our issues for this week.
What about Alabama?
Sheesh. Just give em the game, Arkansas, why don't you?
is arkansas really that bad? unbelievable.
You had to see the Arkansas game coming though. Ark struggled with Western Ill & La Monroe. This is the first game they have played vs a upper level school and they are playing like I figured they would.
Alabama will let up on them in the 2nd half and Ark will make it closer, but they have burried themselves too early for it to matter.
Those two int's by Dick were as bad as you can throw.
Seeing GT light Miss State up like they are today makes me really worry about our offense.
I agree, this Miss. St./Ga tech game is really scaring me. I hope it is not a sign of things to come tonight. Only bright thing so far today is that it looks like Troy's gonna have a chance to pull the upset on OSU.
If anyone is still watching the Bama/Arkansas game. Alabama needs to get Wilson out of the game. Ark is trying to kill him.
GT rushed for 433 yards vs Miss State today.
