Days to kickoff: 28
Our THT's Auburn Minute is brought to you by the number:
28
We have a few guys to review ...
Born in Cullman and raised in Birmingham, Larry Willingham was a consensus All-American during his senior season at Auburn in 1970. He has a .667 Iron Bowl winning pct. He played professionally with the NFL's St. Louis Cardinals and the Birmingham Americans/Vulcans of the World Football League. With his Auburn degree in hand, Larry has pursued a successful career in real estate. Last I heard, you could buy your dream home from him in Gulf Shores.
David Langner needs no introduction. He'll be forever immortalized in Auburn football history thanks to his performance in the 1972 Iron Bowl. He returned two punt blocks for touchdowns and drove a stake in Alabama's heart with a game-clinching interception. Langner contributed in many other facets of the game. He led Auburn with a 13.8 yd punt return average in 1972 and still Auburn's all-time single-season leader with a 28-yard kickoff return average that year. In fact, no one -- not Brent Fullwood, not Alexander Wright, not Tristan Davis -- with a minumum of 10 kickoff returns has been able to best Langner's 1972 average. He also is tied for 5th on Auburn's all-time interception list with 12 and has the highest career interception-return avg of 23.9 yards. Langner was not voted All-SEC until his senior season.
Bob Harris was born in Everett, Washington and graduated from Cedar Grove High School in Decatur, Ga. He was a key player in Auburn's 1982 Iron Bowl win. In 1979, Auburn trounced Georgia between the hedges, 33-13. Although James Brooks' 200 rushing yards and Joe Cribb's 167 yards may have been more apparent, one could easily state a case for true freshman Bob Harris for MVP of that game. The youngster had an interception and two fumble recoveries -- all in the 3rd quarter as Auburn overcame a 10-9 halftime deficit. Just like Larry Willingham, Bob played professionally for the Cardinals and the Birmingham Stallions of the USFL.
Let's hear some shout outs for our other 28s!!!

hi Jay GT Happy Anniversary
Well done as usual THT.
I've got clumsy fingers.
more like, OVERdone, but thanks, ehyou
Hope you and the missus have a swell day!
Have a good time with your bride, THT!
My sentiments apply to you too JGT.
To answer Luv's question two threads ago ...
The last time I did was about 2:30 yesterday afternoon.
I didn't think equating Bahr to a vampire would survive the editing ;-)
AYCOCK
#28
i like it. these numbers are getting smaller and smaller.
Great group of tigers. I have fond memories of Langer and Harris.
The SEC giveth and the SEC taketh away.
I am pissed
New media policy:
among other things "that ban news media from postig video from games, practices and press coferences on the WEB"
JGT are you news media on here?
Is jhag screaming for Aycock again?
Phred, our bet was $20 on each game where Auburn plays a team with a former Tuberville coach on it that I have the other team. I don't recall the four teams we settled on. I think it was MSU, Ole Nutt, Arkansas, and Bama but I am not certain.
Oops, it wasn't Arkansas. It was Tennessee with Eddie Gran. I knew something was wrong with that.
Happy Anniversary to Mr. & Mrs. JGT!!! THT your countdowns articles are most exceptional. The Hotties appreciate them!
Happy Anniversary, JG.
To celebrate the momentous occasion, JG omitted the word 'hope' in the first post of the day.
I'm sure not hearing much about Super Mario from the coaches in the articles I'm reading. Is this the case with you guys or am I just missing it? I wonder how he's performing and if his role will be increased in Malzahn's scheme.
From what I have read Mario Speedwagon is ideally suited to the h-back postion and is the likely starter there. It wouldn't surprise me if we ended up with two 1000 yard rushers this season, Mario and Tate.
THT. Domo Arigato, mr roboto.
Punt bama Punt
My guess is that Mario is solid and doesn't need to be asked about or discussed.....that's a good thing. Folks are always focused on the new guys and...of course the Qb, this time of year.
Hoopie, I get what you're saying. My thought is with his hype before last season, followed by his disappointing effectiveness / use / stats, we would be hearing more about him.
SFC - i like that possibility!
So reporters requested WR DeAngelo Benton for post-practice interviews but he was scratched from the list. Bitters noted that Benton was doing 100 yards worth of up-downs, doing a bear crawl in between yard lines the length of the field. Wes Byrum was doing them with him.
I had heard a little bit about that Kathy. I haven't read anything about why, but it is nice to see that team discipline is for everyone.
Meaningless Trivia: What was the one conference in 2008 that had a winning record against SEC teams. This includes the regular season and bowls.
>> 28 <<
200what? steve?
I dont recall anyone playing football in 2008.
Aero - ようこそ
I would guess Big East, and if not them, ACC
If we have two 1,000 yard rushers, then we will be in Atlanta ... but not for the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.
We had two 1,000 yd rushers in 1979. If we hadn't been on probation, our destination would have been no better than the Peach or Gator.
The difference now, THT, is that teams pass much more frequently.
yes, that is a difference. But we could run for gobs of yds and still not get to SECCG. What if all those yds are between the 20s? What if our defense is hit with the injury bug? Just sayin' 2 thousand yd rushers certainly won't hurt, but don't guarantee us anything other than a winning season.
Digger: The SEC has caught a lot of flak for that digital-media policy and my guess is that things are amended soon. They'll have to pry the camcorder from my cold, dead hands.
Kathy: I noted Benton and Byrum's presence on the Up-Down Brigade last night.
Mountain West!!
JGT, I guess I missed that in my catch-up reading this a.m. Thanks!
I'm here for you.
And you do an AMAZING job JGT. Yesterday seemed to be a vert active day for the Hotties!
JG. There's a word missing from your first post of Saturday.
Are you suggesting that you can't find 'hope'?
Hey everyone. Happy Saturday morning to all the HOTTIES. The weather looks great down here in the Southeast. I (?) the sun is shining where you are.
TarHeel, you weren't out there very long. ;-) I'm still not done with my indoor activities.
Two female observations: 1. Tiger's pants are too big. 2. Tim Clark needs a haircut.
That is all. Must go vacuum!
Mountain West is correct. In fact, the SEC didn't win a game against the mountain west. Two of our lesser schools lost to them, Tennessee and Alabama.
The ACC was a good guess. We were 6-6 against them, with 2 of the losses and one of the wins by Vandy. Vandy lost to Duke and Wake Forest, but beat Boston College. How many years will you be able to say that?
DID YOU KNOW?
The guy who sang "Eye of The Tiger" (Dave Bickler of Survivor) is the same guy who sings in the Bud Light Real Men of Genius radio spots?
Yep, Luv, I worked about an hour or so and then I pressure-washed a message to MrsTHT on the driveway and was waiting for her to get home to read it. She and MissTHT were gone longer than I expected. They just got home, so I guess I'll get back out there :-(
JayGT - I had no idea!
Jay, I had no idea but now that you mention it the voices do sound familiar.
How did 1-AA schools do against the big boys last season? 2-85. Who is responsibile for the two losses?
CAL POLY 29, SAN DIEGO ST 27
NEW HAMPSHIRE 28, ARMY 10
mrs. scottie b has kept me busy today. took off the trash, went to Ace Hardware twice, then the vet. been painting the bedroom a deliscious mocha color to make/keep her happy. i have banned any home improvement projects between Sept. 3rd till the 2nd week of December. thus, i must pay the piper now. :)
happy Anny JG. eat well tonite. we need you strong & rested for the big practice tomorrow.
One of the near upsets was this one.
WESTERN ILLINOIS 24, ARKANSAS 28
Real Men of Genius radio ads. I think those are fantastic ads.
Boy - I must have really had the blinders on the last few years. Two things from Bham News that surprised me this morning
1) AU currently has 75 (out of possible 85) players on scholly
2) "Less than half of the players signed in the 07 and 08 recruiting classes are still on the roster"
Singer: Real Men of Genius

ANNOUNCER: So, on your anniversary, the HOTTIES think you're Hot, but we hope Wifey thinks you're Hotter.
SINGER: Mr. Writer/King of Blogosphere Jay G. Tate!
Well played jet....well played.
Jet = that almost makes me want to pop open a Bud Light. I'll settle for the DC.
Jet,
That is awesome. I can so hear the music in my head - very creative! I'm with THT, but I'll pop open a diet coke with lime and enjoy my last day at the beach. But, when I get home it will be one day closer to AU football.
I am 28, at least for another month.
Will,
you are a mere baby
THT,
You are such a romantic. Pressure washing a love note onto the driveway - i'm sure there is a song there somewhere. Jet, can you do it?
Cincy ...
I'd call the song "800 P.S.I. Love You."
Love it!
Tom and I have been singing songs that were popular when we were dating to our kids. There was some seriously awful music in the mid 70's. Midnight at the Oasis, Loving You, Billy Don''t Be a Hero.
The Amendment That Belongs Somewhere Between the First and Second ...
The Southeastern Conference shall make no policy to abridge the right of a free press to bear camcorders at football practices.
Happy Justin Fetsko day!!
The best real men of genius is this one and is just further proof that Houston Nutt is the greatest football coach of all time.
Jet - 800... that is pure genius.
Well Hotties, we're all heading to An's for dinner.
Y'all have a good evening.
Here is another blog on the QB situation. This one seems to feel that Tyrik will not see the field and that Burns or Todd will be the man.
I hope so Jay I don't see how they can police something like that unless all the SEC schools do not allow video cameras or cell phones on there fields.
The SEC may have a tea party on their doorstep if they don't start amending rignt away.
Don't quote me on this, and maybe JGT can give us some better info...
Certain players have suggested that Todd is outshining the rest, bigtime, as far as learning the offense and mechanics is concerned. The kid has great instincts.
Then again, it's fourth hand info from a friend at Auburn.
aero...
So his arm is still attached to his torso? My sources had reported otherwise.
I apologize for the vulgarity, but sometimes you gotta speak your mind.
The SEC and it's agreement with XOS Technologies can suck an egg.
There.
jet...
The song title was exceedingly clever. Me likey.
If Caudle doesn't succeed, I wonder how much lack of game experience mattered. I guess I'd rather have Todd than Kodi out there as far as brain and braun...I dunno.
Most entertaining Jet!
Enjoy your last day at the beach Cincy!
What?................Chizik confirms freshman OL Aubrey Phillips had a "non-football medical-related episode." He's out for an underdetermined amount of time.
episode? I can't remember my last episode! Always a twist!
Anyone going to be taking the Charter bus from Daphne this year? Sounds like a good deal if you don't want to tailgate.
I just ran across a pole of who will be the starting QB. Caudle had a light lead by 1 vote, but the breakdown was basically this.
1) Caudle 40%
2) Todd 40%
3) Burns 20%
They didn't allow for voting for anyone else.
This is in contrast to how I rank it, which is as follows.
1) Todd 50%
2) Caudle 25%
3) Burns 20%
4) Other 5%
You people act like you've got something better to do on a Saturday night than blog......unbelieveable.
I heard DLo got into it with another player yesterday, nice!
Any news from today?
Has Kodi always had that tat on his bicep?
DeAngelo Benton missed practice with a hand injury but is fine
Chizik's actual quote: "Aubrey appears to have a non-football related episode of some things medically we're testing through. Without getting any more specific, that's kind of where he's at. That just happened recently."
Who is DLo?
Tough about Phillips and his episode. Not sure what to think of that. maybe we will hear something later or maybe not if it is a matter of privacy issues.
Benton on why he had to do up-downs after practice the other day: "I wasn't at the right place at the right time."
DeAngelo Benton missed practice Saturday and wore a brace on his right hand. Benton said it wasn't a big deal and he would be back to practice on Sunday.
I miss JGT. I like that "one stop shopping." Having to research all these different sights for post-practice updates is work!
Looks like we are getting a few injuries w/o much going on.
Benton-hand
Phillips-medical
Someone else had a hand injury also.
Is that all for the night?
Not much news from the Plains today.
Evening Hotties!
Gosh, it's taken me a while to catch up since yesterday.
Happy Anniversay to Jay G., THT and bh007 with a total of 41 years of wedded bliss...I guess y'all are out courting.
#28 and counting...and I was there for Willingham and Langner.
PUNT BAMA PUNT!
Cornerback Walt McFadden said Saturday that the entire secondary and members of Auburn’s linebacking core are growing out their facial hair as a way to “stick together.”
“Me and Zac Etheridge, we’re trying to get the whole defense to spread it,” said McFadden, who got the idea from his older brother Bryant, a member of last year’s Super-Bowl winning Pittsburgh Steelers.
“We’ve got the whole linebackers with us. The D-line, they say they’re already big so they can’t do that. I don’t know what they’re going to do, but we’re trying to do something as a defense just to let people know we’re a team.”
Well!!!!!
It looks like EVERYBODY is out courting tonight!
Everybody but Kathy and me. Kathy is out sleuthing. She is out finding out what being big has to do with facial hair and I am, like always.......missinit.
missinit, I don't get what being big has do with facial hair either.
I think the defense should all hook up and shave Jet's head to show a little esprit de corps.
I'm big,and I have facial hair. If I can do it, anybody can.
Still don't know what being big has to do with facial hair. Hopefully JGT can have him further elaborate tomorrow.
I think they should all get together and seriously put the beat down on La Tech. That would be a great sign to me that they are a team!! Wooo Hoooo!!!
GRRRRRRRRRRRR
ok, sorry, just had a little testosterone surge there...
That might be asking a little much Monica!!!
Oh well Luv we will have a defense of half 'wooly bugers' and half 'big uns".
They can be big and wooly as long as they hit somebody!
"No shaving" takes less energy!
big and wooly works for me
just sayin
J-Z ...
I probably wouldn't care, but Mrs. Jet would throw a full-fledged Cat 5 hissy.
That's an awfully violent hissy!
Jet, what's the story behind your latest avatar?
Jet I think you'd look fetching in a goatee.
Luv you all rested up from a hard days work?
Luv ...
That's me between plays in the family football game on Thanksgiving last fall.
he was filling in for his daughter who was on crutches
Monica, no. I'm very sleepy. I'm going to bed in a few minutes.
I tried the crewcut/goatee look in 2000, Monica.
Mrs. Jet said not only no, but NO.
Oh Jet I meant to tell you......I was the pretty girl David Langner sat by back in the day.
just sayin
crew cut, huh?
harsh
Jet you have three or four women talking to you at once.
And in an upset, they're not yelling at me, Monica.
Missinit ... a true Hottie.
I think Jet can handle it, don't you, Monica?
(In my suavest voice ...)
So ...
do you ladies come here often?
lowered have mercy! HAHAHAHA
I have NO DOUBT that Jet can handle it. He is the King of HABOTN. His talents know no limits.
From Bitter: Wide receivers coach Trooper Taylor likes a clean-cut look, claiming every day is an interview, so players are trying to keep things well-groomed. “As long as we keep it shaped up and not let it grow wild,” McFadden said, “(Trooper’s) OK with it.”
Also, LB Adam Herring is still out with the same undisclosed medical issue that kept him out in the spring.
And, McFadden had an interesting take on some scrappin' that takes place during some of the live sessions of practice: "We just wait until coach Chizik blows that whistle about 10 times and then we know that we’re in trouble," he said. "We try to just wait. If he blows the whistle once and he sees that we keep going and just keep forward, sooner or later the GA’s will come running forward and say, ‘It’s over. Over.’ Then, basically, the coaches will let us know that we’re all there as a team and the defense is swarming to the ball so all 11 players are getting there. basically we’re just letting the GA’s break us up."
Alright. It's bedtime. 8:30 tee time in the morning. Have a great night, Hotties. Jet, behave yourself. ;-)
Luv ...
I'm too old to do anything else. Hit 'em straight. Maybe you'll hit your irons better than I did the other day.
Why thank you Jet!
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
About the only way I can be a "Hottie" these days is on the HABOTN1
Monica ...
You know, I'm very limited.
Kathy you are a plethora of info tonight!
I love fancy words!
Hey!
Hello, Michael.
Hey back atcha!
Goats doing well I trust Michael.
Yeah, I think the goats are cool. I hired some 14 year old kid to herd them across state lines overnight, so I hope that goes well. Don't ask me about my business.
the sheep are good enough to herd?
One more thing about David Langner. Because of him (and the entire '72 Tigers) I got to be the lucky recipient of a bumper sticker that read:
Cow College 17
Chicken Bone 16
They were giving them out at Legion Field as we were floating out of the gates!!!! Man were those bammers saying uuuugly things to us.
We smiled!
An indescribable game!!!
Michael, I know better than to do that. Su bidness es no mi bidness.
More like bad enough to herd, Monica, if you know what I mean.
And no, I don't know what I mean.
That's all I got folks. Three hours of yard work and 1 1/2 hours at the gym have caught up with me. Goodnight Hotties, until tomorrow, sweet dreams!
So Michael's having a minor carry goats across states lines for immoral purposes? Doesn't that make this a federal issue?
Goodnight, Kathy. If you hear something that sounds like a herd of goats in your backyard, just ignore it.
J-Z ...
that would be the Mann Act.
It's nobody's issue if you don't get caught, j-z
I feel empty with no practice updates. We've been spoiled this week.
ehyou, you actually have that empty feeling because your digestive system has been cleared out due to all that diarrhea
Ehyou ... Had some really tasty sliced maters tonight.
Thought of you. Isn't that nice? Or sad?
"I was only helping the sheep over the fence." That's what you meant, Michael. I'm just guessing of course.
that was in such poor taste that I killed the thread, huh?
sorry :-(
Silva knocked forest down 2 times and then out in the first round tonight. Silva was awesome. Forest left quickly.
Adios HOT ONES.
let's say conservatively the following players have these stats for 2009:
benton 649 5TD
billings 440 2 TD
zachary 210 1 TD
carr 175 1 TD
blake 380 2 TD
hawthorne 380 2TD
d. adams 235 1TD
trott 160 1TD
mckenzie 100 0TD
tate 240 1TD
mccalleb 180 1TD
fannin 360 2TD
winter 50 0TD
e. smith 40 0TD
wisner 90 1TD
lutz 115 1TD
stallworth 170 1TD
aycock 40 0TD
if the same QB throws all those yards his stat line is 4,014 yds 22TD ?INT. that is more output than any QB in my recent AU memory banks and would be an incredible turnaround by any of the QBs on the roster. JC only threw for 2700+ and 20 TDs in 04. i would hope my stat estimations are on the low side. with only a decent rushing game we should be in most every game.
did anyone realize in 2009 AU is playing 3 of the 4 teams in d1 with the nickname bulldogs? who have we left out?
Victor Beasley has eliminated Auburn. His final two are Bama and Clemson.
Fresno St.
Not sure if this has already been posted. Greg just showed it to me.
“What you see is what you get with Coach Chizik," Seastrunk told SN. "He’s a great guy, and he’s going to make sure you’re taken care of. He’s going to do everything he possibly can to be there for you. I feel like that’s my dad for the next three to four years. He’ll take care of me like my mom did. It’s the same connection. He would be doing the same stuff my mom has done for me to this point.”
SN100's No. 2 player, Seastrunk, still likes Auburn
Wow, thanks Omnica, that is very encouraging. I think Chiz did some fathering of Phillips the other day by telling him to let what happened at Florida State go. I am definitely liking ChizCo.
27 days :-)
Yep, Monica's right!
T-minus 27 days til kickoff!!!
It's another DB trifecta! Yesterday, we had two cornerbacks and a safety. Today, two safeties and a cornerback.
HAPPY BUDDY McCLINTON DAY!!!
Buddy McClinton, all 5'7" and 150 lbs, received Auburn's last available scholarship offer when his high school coach, who had been hired as Auburn's freshman coach, convinced Coach Shug Jordan that the product of Lee High School in Montgomery could hang with the big boys in the SEC. He was right. Under the tutelage of secondary coach "Brother Bill" Oliver, McClinton started every single game of his Auburn career. Forty years later, the former safety is still Auburn's all-time career (18) and single-season (9) leader in interceptions. He was named to seven different All-American teams after his senior season in 1969. In 2008, he was named to the 75th Anniversary All-Sun Bowl Team. Buddy's 3 INTs against the Arizona Wildcats in the 1968 Sun Bowl earned him MVP honor, a Sun Bowl first for a DB. Most impressively, Mr. McClinton was also an ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN. He has turned his Business Administration degree into a highly successful career in commercial real estate; he is President of McClinton & Company, Inc., based in his home town of Montgomery.
Honorable mention:
David King - Two-time All-SEC cornerback in '83 and '84. Fifth all-time in career interceptions and a member of the University's Dance Troupe.
Johnny Simmons - Childersburg, AL native turned down a lucrative offer as the Kansas City Royals number 1 draft pick to attend Auburn University. He provided senior leadership to the 1972 Amazin's.
WARRRRRR EAGLE!!!
GO TIGERS!!!
Thanks,THT,
Only 27 days to go! Time is moving much faster. Bummer about Victor Beasley. I really thought AU had a chance with him.
So wonderful here. All the family has gone to bed and I am sitting on the balconey watching the waves. Very relaxing. Back to the real world tomorrow.
Hope all the anniversary celebrants had a great night! Congratulations to you all!
balcony, sorry misspelled words bug me if I am the one writing them
missinit - at the '72 Iron Bowl! Wow! You weren't missin' it. I can't even remotely imagine the thrill. I told my dad that morning that AU was going to win. I told him the same thing at halftime. I told him the same thing when it was 16-0 in the 4th qtr. I've never EVER been so certain of something in my life. If I hadn't been so certain, it would have been nerve-wracking. We would get an update on TV about every 30 minutes; the only game on TV in our region wasn't the Iron Bowl.
Luv - hit 'em long and straight, and may all your putts be true.
cincy - watching waves in the night, defintely the most relaxing beach activity. Sounds deeeelightful!
Sweet dreams to all the Hotties!
nice work again THT.
HAPPY BUDDY MAC DAY!
also a shout-out to #27 Brad Ware.
Good morning scottie.
Excellent work THT.
Thanks, ScottieB and ehyou
Happy Buddy McClinton day!!
Funny thing growing up in the gump, my dad told me about this neighbor of ours just up the street used to play for Auburn. I was like wow that's pretty cool, he played for a big college. Then to find out, oh he is THAT Buddy McCliton?!?!? Makes me wish I knew more about Auburn when I was growing up.
the HABOTN, a 3-mile run with man's best friend, and a pot of coffee brewing in the kitchen. what a way to kick off a sunday!
morning ehyou & THT.
I did not realize Bill Oliver had been around that long. I wonder how different UAT football would be today if Hootie hadn't been fired and Oliver had gotten the head gig.
And another 27 shoutout ... WARIO!
i'm anxious to hear what Aubrey Phillips' unspecified 'medical condition' is. hope he's ok.
this whole QB race has my head spinning. i am going to do my best to not think about it for the next, um....5 seconds. nope, can't do it. ggrrr.
i guess the big question is, full pads or no today?
This comment has been removed by the author.
and THT.. you rock!!
Two anniversary couples yesterday, one is represented early this morning on HABOTN.
The other? Nowhere to be found.
Hmmm.
Morning all...
Sad for the OL...hate to see......
I have not been to or seen a practice this year, all I can base my opinion on is what I read, what those lucky enough to watch practice say and various videos.
If CT’s arm is what it looks like in the videos,,,, hang it up... and I am a supporter.. So by stating that an idiot like me sees issue with CT arm, I am Hopeful that i am not getting the full picture and CGC and CGM would yank him from practice rotation if the arm was not capable of SEC play. I again I am hopeful I am the idot… which according to my wife is not an uncommon event…go figure
So the beard is like velcro.
I have no idea what is a medical episode. Is he pregnant?
I like the comments I have read from Malzahn about Todd, but his arm being in ice after practice isn't a good sign.
The more practice continues and the more I read, the more I am convinced that you will see a lot of freshman and redshirt freshman get playing time early.
The thing is that we know we have depth issues. You either play the experienced players early against the weaker part of the schedule, or you try to mix in some younger inexperienced players to try to avoid injury to your more experienced players that will be needed later in the season.
At Iowa State Chizik played young guys early to build for the future. At Auburn I am betting he plays young guys early to have the older players available later on.
Howdy Hotties. Thanks DL!
Question for any DirecTv subscribers re: regional sports networks. Their web site says:
But if you want to watch games and teams from outside your region, you need to add the DIRECTV Sports Pack to your "base" programming package. You'll get ALL of our Regional Sports Networks for only $12/month.
Access to Regional Sports Networks is determined by your Zip Code, and blackout restrictions apply. Call us toll free to make sure you'll get the Sports Networks you want.
So, I would get all the RSNs regular programming but I'd only see the live events carried on my horrible FSN Carolinas network? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of subscribing to the RSNs? Any Hottie who can explain it to me?
THT. Thank you for the awesome job once again.
I can't tell you anything about DirectTV, but I can catch all the games on hulu or Justin.tv. To hell with blackouts and all.
The sites support HD (full screen) mode and you can watch the games in full screen HD on your tv (if you connect your pc to it).
Aero - thanks. I hadn't thought about that. Does Hulu show any football games live?
I just noticed that Billy Mays died. I never really got his pitch style, but I did watch a little bit of Pitchmen.
Hulu wouldn't let me watch anything because I'm not in the US. Some copyright restrictions or whatnot.
Last year I watched almost all the games on Justin.tv
Got a question for any of the group. My wife and I were recently in a car wreck. Not to worry, my wife unfortunately has a broken ankle from where she was using the passenger side brakes, I somehow (thank god and Honda engineers) ended up with A scratch. But since this is my first and only car wreck I have no clue what to do next. Any help would be appreciated, and to keep this off topic topic off the board, please contact me by my email. Thanks much.
2007 Auburn vs Nebraska in the Cotton Bowl in now on FSDNA.
TommyD. I wish the lady a speedy recovery.
I've been in a wreck that wasn't my fault. I wish I had gone to a lawyer first thing, because the other guy's insurance company were one of the worst people I've ever had to deal with.
Honestly I did not want to resort to those tactics, but when they didn't evaluate the darn car for 30 days (and not even get me a rental), and then offer me 1/2 the market price I developed pain in the neck that required physiotherapy.
New thread up!
It has been many years but I once got my insurance company to deal with the other company. I just told them I wanted my car fixed and to get the money from the other company.
