Yay, you know what this means?
Jhag is ready to rock n roll, and getting back to mid season form on the HABOTN baby
This has nothing to do with Auburn, but Joe Posnanski's final column with the KC Star (before he starts work with Sports Illustrated) is really good.
Are you trying to tell us something Mr. Tate?
Someone just told me the NY TImes said we could win 9 this year?
any truth to this reprot JGT
I know it's Sunday and all, but there's free Chick Fil A in the last thread.
I need to start drinking. My liver is out of shape, and it's game week!
Peter, start conditioning bud!
Good afternoon Hotties.
Hope everyone has a wonderful week.
DL, a Pyongyangian blogger was jailed Saturday after saying Auburn would win nine games.
I thought you were in talks with ESPN? Now it's SI?
Great suggestion Jay. Gave me some chills on a warm day. Thanks.
5 kids? I bet Dr. Lyle doesn't have lots of free time.
I'll be spending the afternoon at a "block party" recruiting volunteers and handing out flyers about our community service programs.
I don't wanna go.
Tiger within 2 of the lead through 5 holes at The Barclays...
Joe Posnanski's column was FANTASTIC.
Disco Hayes, cool article.
Cool article... nice find, JGT.
Monica, I was thinking the same thing about the good doctor.

Such great people here for #6! Didn't know this about Dr. Lyle, what a great story about his life! Sorry to hear about "Little Train" Lionel James. Maybe Chet Williams needs to pay him a serious visit.
Well, I've gone and done it. Never planned ahead before, but I've completed the Kickoff Kountdowns for Game Week.
Fred Smith- a fearless DB who loved to lay the lumber to anyone not wearing the Auburn jersey.
Charlie Trotman- barely remember listening to him play on the radio. Listening to him and the late Jim Fyffe call games together on the radio was as good as it gets for this Auburn fan. Who needed TV?
Lionel James- an amazing player to watch. He was an outstanding runner, and also a very good blocker. Very sad to see what has happened in his personal life. Hope he can turn things around, one of my all-time favorite players.
Thanks for the list, THT. Brings back some great memories.
Not only is Josh Moon an idiot, he's not a good journalist either.
Oh my god im bored. Sitting up here at work as we "closed" but since i am manager on dutry today i have to stay till 6. I think I have done all paperwork through friday and read every auburn article from the past 4 days. IM ABOUT TO KILL OVER!
I think my PS2 just died... all of the colors just inverted...
Horace Willis gets a mention because if he had been two inches taller or had jumped on the 4th and 15 play in 2002 vs UGA, Auburn plays Florida for the SEC title.
You sure that's not the cough syrup talking?
D.Miller- Sounds like a great reason to go pick up a PS3!
I wish I had a couple hundred bucks to go get a PS3... I just don't have the $$...
My birthday is coming up though, if any of you hotties are looking for an idea......
Not sayin', just sayin...
D.Miller- I can understand that. My B-Day is coming up also, I would like 9 wins this season. Please deliver!
Y'all will have to practice without me. I've got to head to work for a while :-(
If you happen to hear from 2.0, ask her if her bags are packed.
also, ALL HOTTIES!!! Y'all are invited to send unsolicited HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES to the MUCH BETTER HALF, MrsTHT. Tomorrow (which starts in just over an hour in Florence) is her B'day. You can reach her @gmail.com by putting MrsTHT in front of the @ (not sure if she'll hit an internet cafe anytime soon, but she'll see it eventually).
WAR EAGLE!!!
I'll do the best I can eddie...

War Eagle!
Due to a confusing email that doesn't clearly explain what is happening today, I mistakenly reported that Chizik is holding a teleconference today.
He is not. In fact, I'm not even sure if he's available. I have no idea.
I know this: I won't have a substantive update until at least 8:30 p.m. CDT.
JGT- Thanks for sharing the Disco Hayes article. Very good read.
I'm just not feeling the hate in here today.
j-z,
I hate work on sunday and bama.
how is that?
oh yea and Georgia.
It's a start Atl. Why do you hate them? Feed the fire.
I dreamed about hating $puat, woke up hating those vile creatures... and my hatred has only gotten stronger as the day goes on.
Bring it brother, bring it.
There is only one thing good that came out of SPUAT....My wife.
j-z - I awoke WAY too early (3:45a) yesterday, couldn't get back to sleep, alarm clock issues screwed up my planned activities for the morning. I blame each horrific event on UAT, further enhancing my HATE. How's that?
Keep Hate Alive, rehrin!
Not a big fan of kickers who wear number 6. Especially freshman kickers who lock themselves in their dorm room when the upperclassmen come to shave their heads with the rest of the freshmen and call their daddy to have him call coach to tell Coach he better tell his team to stay away from his little boy.
This is a hypothetical, by the way.
Can I get an amen for Brother Norm's trials and tribulations? Fight on my friend.
Growing up in Albany, Ga I got to meet Little Train many times with the late great Cleve Wester. Lionel has been through a lot lately and even the past 15 years plus the illness that he had.
When he is on his A game, there is not a better man out there with a bigger heart. Hell make it back stronger than ever, he's a Auburn man. We don't give up!
Looks to be a great finish to the Golf today. Tiger has 6 feet left on 18 to tie the lead with the other leaders on 17.
Amen... to Norm and Alan...
cant believe he missed it!
Great picks for #6!! I have a very good friend from Eufaula that is/was a very fast athlete (RB/WR). He is a few years younger than Fred Smith. He told me that Fred was the reason that he didnt play HS football because Fred told him that he couldn't wait to hit him. He told a story that he saw Fred hit a guy so hard that he flew out of bounds, over the benches and got stuck under the fence seperating the team and the fans.
that's one mean hit BigCat. nice.
Lionel was by far the most talentd #6 mentioned. And he did more with his talent on the college field and professionally than any of the others as well. He was also a great kid and a good man. Things only went south for him in the last few years.
I got my helmet stuck under the fence at Duck Sanford Stadium (Auburn HS). I dove and missed the QB while chasing him on the last play of the game in a rain storm. I slid into the fence on the wet grass and my helmet went under the fence. I was in a 3-4" deep puddle and it was hard to breathe. The game was over and no one was looking my way and it took a couple of minutes for help to arrive.
Let me assure that while I haven't been online until now ... I've been hatin' all day.
That's who I am. That's what I do.
Hate UAT.
War Eagle.
All Day and All of the Night!
5 kids? Sounds like Win Lyle still knows how to get it through the uprights........
New thread UP.
