First Post: Thursday
Hey everyone. It was an eventful ride home last night. Hit a gnarly thunderstorm at Exit 42 and I couldn't crack 50 mph until I hit Mitylene (Exit 11). Good times. I've never seen so much lightning in my life. My Maxima laughed at the weather, though. Tough car.
Also want to say thanks to Ms. Bradley's class at Montgomery Catholic High for having me Wednesday morning. I enjoyed being interviewed for a change. I was disappointed to see no gals in the class, though. What up with that?
Here's the Auburn situation at this moment:

TODAY'S SCHEDULE
Auburn has not confirmed what time practice starts today. I'm assuming it's 4:20 in the afternoon. It will be partially open to the media, which is good for you because I can get you a peek at the INNER WORKINGS of the team's most basic drills. Maybe they'll run some 11-on-11s for us again today.
Either way, this is the final open practice of the season.
Here's what the next few days look like:
Thu., Aug. 27, 4:20 p.m. (partially open to media)
Fri., Aug. 28, TBA
Sat., Aug. 29, OFF
Sun., Aug. 30, TBA
Mon., Aug. 31, OFF
Tue., Sept. 1, TBA
Wed., Sept. 2, TBA
Thu., Sept. 3, TBA
Fri., Sept. 4, OFF
Sat., Sept. 5, vs. Louisiana Tech, 6 p.m. CDT

Good Morning HOTTIES!!!
Does this mean I can't talk about Uni's anymore?
"inner workings of the team's most basic drill"
LOL!
We still gobble it up like Chilton County peach cobbler!!!
4. :)
listening to Eddie & Sensi debate the jersey colors on the blog show. ha.
Thanks for listening Scottie!
Things like Tiger Walk and the eagle flying were things that were done and people liked them and they continued. Hence, they have become traditions. If you change the uniforms, the tradition is broken. Tradition doesn't evolve, it just "is."
no love for 'Living on a Prayer' Eddie?
:(
Luv- We would still be in Orange Jersey's if that was the case.
Orange came before blue -->
Love ya, Eduardo ... there ain't no good guy, there ain't no bad guy, it's just you and me, and we just disagree.
Exactly my point Aubie. I'm sure there were some then that were not very happy when that change was made, therefore I stand by my point that Tradition evolves.
If wearing orange jerseys was a tradition, that tradition was broken.
split coconuts
Agreed Jet.
I'm willing to bet that at somepoint in my lifetime Auburn will change up the uniform on a non-retro basis. It's coming at some point, I just dont' know when.
very good article on Mr. Sullen.
Thanks, JayGT!!!
By the way, my thoughts of the best place to introduce a new Jersey would be when we play at LSU. We suck badly in the Blue's there, change it up.
And since I'm in a fiesty mood, I'll fire a shot on another subject, and depart since I have speech to give in 2 hours that I haven't prepared for.
THT, I love you. I appreciate your hard work.
But I'm sorry, giving co-billing to Tristan Davis on Day 9 is like having Tuberville-Barfield Day. One of these things is not like the other one, one of these things just doesn't belong.
Tristan has had worse luck than anyone I know outside of my wife, but his moment in the sun in Lexington is worthy of little more than an honorable mention.
Now here's a great question for THT ... what Auburn players wore the jersey 7 before Pat Sullivan? Did any? I don't know the answer.
Eddie, I'm with you on the unis!
BTW, I just subscribed to the podcast. Can't wait to listen... especially the orange uni talk
2 1/2 hours later and y'all are still talking about uni's??? LOL
I just love you freaks.
Thanks Aubie, I hope you enjoy!
Mon, It's because I'm a goob. :)
... with AUsome calves.
You do have AUsome calves. It's true.
new thread is UP, UP, UP.
THT, exactly when do you sleep?
Seriously you amaze me! I average five hours of sleep a night. That's all it takes for me...just wake up after five. As a young kid I was the only one on the block that knew who Jack Parr was cause I didn't sleep much.
But you, you NEVER sleep!
