Days to kickoff: 10
Our Tar Heel Tiger's Auburn Minute is brought to you by the number:
10
HAPPY "ALL FORMER AU #10s" DAY!!!
We've got plenty of depth today. I'll let y'all name the starter. The
candidates in chronological order:
* Jon Kilgore: from Atlanta; AU Media Guide lists him as an End 1962-64, but he apparently practiced the art of punting during his five-year NFL career with the Rams, Bears, and 49ers. He's front left in the 1963 team photo, sitting right next to #11, LB Bill Cody.
* Tommy Traylor: A GUMPIAN!!! During Tommy's sophomore year, he was backup QB to senior Loran Carter. Tommy played a very important role in Auburn's big Sun Bowl win over Arizona in 1968. During his junior and senior seasons, Tommy was backup QB to Pat Sullivan.
* Clyde Baumgartner - Clyde B. and Chris Vacarella (see yesterday) may have been twin sons of different mothers. Both were from Birmingham. Both were backup QBs. Both lettered in '74-76 (Chris also in '73). Both made their greatest contributions at another position. While Chris was catching passes, Baumgartner was achieving ALL-SEC First Team honor as a punter in 1975.
* Pat Washington: (Pictured at right) Mobile native and non-wishbone style QB starter in 1984-85. He started a successful coaching career shortly after graduation. He's had gigs at Auburn, SW Louisiana (now UL-Lafayette), TCU, Baylor, Tennessee (on Fulmer's staff for 11 years), Kansas State, Mississippi State (Sylvester Croom's staff), and currently at Southern Miss.
* James Joseph: Phenix City native played FB for Auburn in 1986, '87-'90. He then had a five-year NFL career with the Eagles and Bengals. James earned his Auburn degree in 1997 and entered the coaching profession. He's had gigs at Auburn High and Troy. He is currently RB coach at the University of Memphis.
* Patrick Nix - Rainbow City, AL, native started at QB in 1994 and 1995. Famous moments include: The run-in-off-the-bench-and-throw-a-4th-and-15-TD-bomb-to-Frank-Sanders play in the 1993 Iron Bowl after starting QB Stan White was knocked from the game on a vicious hit. That was the turning point in Auburn's great comeback victory over the Tide. He has also earned several coaching gigs. Nix was Academic All-SEC in 1994.
* Rodney Crayton: Cornerback from Dadeville who suited up for the Tigers in 1996, '98-'00. Rodney led the team with 5 interceptions in 2000, earning the respect of the league's coaches. They voted Crayton to the all-conference team.
My favorite AU #10? I think it's a toss up between Traylor and Joseph.
I'm sure there are others, so y'all know what that means. It's time
for some 10 shout outs!!!

Nobody loves their backup QBs like Auburn. Though I don't recall screams for Traylor to get on the field when Sully was playing.
Pat Nix was QB when I started. Decent QB, excellent person.
Sensi: The tab apparently was delayed. It's going to the printer today. I'm guess it'll run Friday morning?
Sorry for the confusion.
Dr. Thomas Traylor has a practice about 5 minutes from where i now sit. i met his wife last year. :)
http://traylorandfieldsobgyn.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=4
No problem. Friday would be awesome. I'm producing the Tallassee Tigers games and having schedules of area teams handy will help me keep track of scores and whatnot. Plus, I like the previews.
Ahh, football season. You have been missed. Glad you are back now.
The smell in the air, that's victory...
My all time favorite commercial line.
Sensi,
What browser do you use on your blackberry?
Jay,
I confirmed that Books A Million in bham does not have the coach's magazine. Went before you posted they hadn't shipped yet. Manager said maybe Thursday?
Nix lofts it up for Sanders...Sanders...OH, HE CAUGHT IT! TOUCHDOWN AUBURN!
Donnay Young and the poster child for why incoming freshmen are rarely worth the hype Tray Blackmon.
cincy,
The one I have now is the basic RIM from BB. I've tried to download another one, but this is the old model and I've had no luck. The trackwheel is also not working right. I've had it for 3 years. That's why they are offering the upgrade rather than replace it.
Some leaves are actually already changing colors here. Now THAT means football is coming.
I use Opera. It works well.
ehyou, I've read a lot about that, but couldn't get it to download on current phone.
Sensi,
I spoke to my son who is into all of these electronic gadgets. He said it probably wasn't the phone that kept you from getting on HABOTN but the browser. His suggestion was to download Opera Mini and that should allow you access to the blog. He also said it was easier to download from your computer than to try to do it through the phone. As far as which phone he didn't think it mattered that much - he said go with the one that you feel is easiest to use.
That is in the "for what it's worth" department.
Thanks, cincy.
And thanks to your son too.
ehyou, I received contact from your referral and am working on something.
HAPPY JOSEPH-NIX DAY HOT ONES!!!
Bother were players that shared time at Auburn with me as a undergrad. I knew Joseph from playing basketball at the Student ACT. I actually lived in Nix's hometown of Rainbow City for three years. My friends would rib me by asking if the Mayor was Rainbow Bright...those jerks lol
For those interested, my brother put out another good read about the upcomming start of the season, enjoy...
A New Hope
James Joseph dislocated his kneecap on the opening kickoff against Tennessee at Sanitation Truck Stadium on the Brillo Pad in 1987.
Played the whole game.
But, Monica, you see, you have "football weather" up there. Down here, it's just HOT.
Sensi...
Glad to hear it. I was concerned he never would "get around to it".
Does anyone else experience an itching feeling between one's toes when one sees a llama crossing the street wearing a multicolored tutu and aviator sunglasses or is it just me?
THT 2.0- I'm sure there are several bama fans that get excited when they see that.
THT 2.0, I thought I was all alone. Thanks for sharing.
Jay G ...
Enjoyed reading your Kodio story this a.m. ... Loved the desk's selection for the photo with the jump ... the picture of Kodio's end-over-end pass against UAT.
I know RK is pumped about the unveiling of the RK-Kat Offense in 10 days.
It depends on which street it is.
Eddie & Wade-G'Morning! Glad y'all are here. I beginning to think there might be a puppet invasion.
one of the first AU games i ever attended featured james "bo peep" joseph breaking away for a long TD run down the sideline. the only problem was he dropped the ball around the 30 yard line while he had a 10 yard or so lead on the closest pursuer. against UT chattanooga i think.
the man scorded the first IB TD in JH so he tops my #10 list.
I have to fight the puppet demons that tend to take over this time of the day.
drink a bottle a vodka. it will oust the puppet demons along with many other things immediately.
In THT's absence, let's open the bidding for Day 9.
I currently accept credit card, paypal, and Euros.
On a side note, do not play video games and drink large quantities of vodka. Those two don't mix well.
Tristan Davis will be on the list along with RK's choice of Dan Evans.
THT is always lurking.
GRRRRR
and I support this particular fund-raising effort. All Hotties are encouraged to participate.
THT 2.0- Isn't there another light bulb you can have him change out?
RK may also list Jeff Klein, almost forgot that famous #9.
Eddie, I was thinking Jeff Klein as well.
I have STML, but didn't Anthony Mix wear #9?
Hottie with the highest direct transfer to THT2.0's travel fund will get to name the Day 9 honoree!!!
eddie- there's one in the kitchen, but THT refuses it change it on the grounds that he worked up a bead of sweat the last time he thought about changing it.
So if I supply enough cash, I could be listed as honoree of the day? Would I get a big writeup?
Luv -no you don't, and yes, he did
THT, is tomorrow Tristan Davis day?
If so, we should all wear a soft cast on one foot.
Poor guy couldn't walk to class without fracturing something.
absolutely, Eddie, as long as you submit it before the 11 pm press deadline.
we will be castless tomorrow.
sweet- 50 cents coming your way via pay pal.

THT 2.0: 1
Tar Heel: 0
I love luv.
I'm not playing. I'm smarter than Cumberland College was on October 7, 1916.
Was that the GA Tech annihilation?
yes, 222-0
Tech racked up 1,650 yds and 28 TDs on 40 carries. No pass attempts.
ehyou- That is what bama could do next year against Georgia State.
And Brother Jet went into HABOTN, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the blog, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold numbers on the THT countdown.*
And Jet said unto them, It is written, HABOTN shall be called the house of occasionally rational Auburn discussion; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
*-exemption granted for HABOTN licensed hats, shirts, etc.
Cumberland also eventually chose to kick off after Tech touchdowns. Tech would have to go farther for TDs that way.
Doubt it will be that bad....
Although Saban is telling booster clubs that next year will be the most talented college team he has ever had.
does that mean he won't need the fans help next year? You know, the ones who cost him the Sugar Bowl.
I'm sure that they will be able to use the help of all 101,000 of us next year.
FSJ- It won't be much better. They are not even playing football this year. How the heck did someone allow them to be scheduled?
I'm sure Bill Curry had something to do with it.
J-H seems to be getting smaller and smaller.
After adding "The Zone," the next addition to Bryant Denny will be called ...
"The Shallow End of the Gene Pool."
Well you could do like Tennessee THT...
Shrink the size of the seats to a point where no normal sized individual can fit in them...
Although, I've heard that with their renovation Tennessee is actually going down in capacity.
Brotha Jet, preach on.
Does UT have any other place to add seats, other than suspended over the field?
No...They are putting in club seating I think which is causing them to lose some seats.
I'm not certain that they will have many more...if any than Alabama will after they get finished.
I don't know about y'all but I've always thought Neyland Stadium was a dump. Of course it's been a while since I've been up there.
I don't care about Bama or BDS.
Neyland Stadium was the biggest disappointment for me. After all the hype about the stadium, it was way smaller than I thought. I much prefer several other stadium to it. Florida is my all time favorite stadium if you take JH out of the equation.
Just great. My fat arse will take up at least two seats at UT.
my only trip to Neyland was in '79 (?). I remember the steepness of the upper deck, which seemed to hang over the field, and the opening KO return for TD that spelled doom & gloom for my Tigers.
Great. I'm afraid of heights too. Should be a fun time!
Happy Patrick Nix day!!! Got to go with him. You make a play like that in the Iron Bowl and you become a legend.
Florida was your favorite? Toothless jorts wearing idiots, the tiniest bleachers ever, and...whatever, EFF FLORIDA and their crappy @$$ stadium.
I actually have always liked LSU's stadium. Don't know why.
There is a pizza joint in Lebanon, TN (home of Cumberland University) that sells a loaded pizza called the Cumberland Calamity. It is named after the aforementioned 222-0 defeat at the hands of GT. If anyone is interested, the place is called Painturo's, and the pizza is very good.
Peter- LSU and Auburn are close to the same if you ask me. As far as fans go, LSU is way way way worse to us than Florida Fans. Say what you want, but Florida Field is pretty damn awesome, especially when you are on the field.
Neyland IS a dump. they've upgraded the concourses and such so it should be nicer. the tunnels in are spooky. you feel like you're in a dungeon from the 1920's. hopefully they upgraded those as well.
i agree with Eddie. Florida Field is AUSOME! been to 3 games there and enjoyed everything but the whoopin's i witnessed. Tiger Stadium is cool from an atmosphere standpoint.
Commonwealth Stadium at UK is underrated. it was renovated a few years ago and is very clean/nice. not intimidating of course, but nice.
About the practice vid; Nice to see that at least the team LOOKS like they know what they're doing. Confidence in the execution was what I was hoping for this season, and it doesn't seem (just from watching 1 minute of practice vid) that there is that confusion element that permeated last year's group. Then again it was practice.
I'm also glad to see real running in practice not that little footstomp quick step leading into a partial toss or catch. But then again I may just be a dumba$$.
When it comes to this, it should tell us that we're slowly, but surely, screwing up something we love ...
SI.com announces plan to file FOIA requests with the 51 public universities for the weekly ballots of their head football coaches who participate in the coaches' poll that is 1/3 of the BCS formula.
I can't concentrate cause we kickoff in 10 days
I actually embrance them all ... because they aren't mine.
There is something enjoyable about all the stadiums and the trips -- except Sheol and Starkville (the most aptly named town in America).
I haven't been to the Bayou, or UK, so I don't have an opinion on those. I've always enjoyed Sanford Stadium and Doak Campbell if I had to pick an enemy's stadium. Although I have to admit the whole boating up to the stadium atmoshpere at UT is pretty hip. Didn't really care for the inside though, made me feel strangely claustrophobic for 100,000+ seat place.
I can't concentrate 'cause I gotta pee.
Starkville - that would be correct.
I can't concentrate 'cause of this @#$*%^& puppet on my arm.
Jet- I thought you use Depend's?
I'm trying to think of my favorite stadium other than ours...however I know my least favorite is Legion Field. I hated that place, and I'm so happy we don't have to go there anymore. I went to games there every other year from 92-98 and I never want to see that dump again.
Only on Saturdays, Eduardo. Only on Saturdays.
I've been to all the SEC stadium's except Flordia's.
Starkville is a dump and so was Mississippi's when I was there last in 1995. I understand they have remodeled though.
I think Auburn, UGA, LSU, & Arkansas have nice stadiums. Alabama's was on the lower end when I was in school. However we've come on strong lately.
I'm sure one of y'all can answer this for me....why is part of the student section end zone stands at JH taller than the other parts of the lower bowl? I've always wondered that.
Samford stadium is nice, I hate it in Knoxville, you are just crammed in there.
I love the campus in Oxford, so I'd say that's my favorite road place to attend.
Tommy- is it just hanging out on your arm or trying to chew it off?
SI.com announces plan to file FOIA requests with the 51 public universities for the weekly ballots of their head football coaches who participate in the coaches' poll that is 1/3 of the BCS formula.
What does it mean Jet ,what does it mean?
Depends which way you're looking at it Harrison
Stanford Stadium and Williams Bryce are nice, but they are kinda blah to me.
Arkansas's is fairly nice, especially for the size.
It means that they are attempting to learn who the coaches voted for thru the Freedom of Information Act. I don't think it will fly, but I could be wrong.
Knoxville is cool because of its size, but it is about as nice as the Liberty Bowl.
Florida gets my favorite stadium award for its look. The steepness makes it quite loud, also
LSU ‘s stadium looks just like Auburn’s with similar atmosphere.
As far as fans go, In my experience the Florida fans were the biggest jerks by far. I had zero run ins with jerk fans in Baton Rouge. Of course, no one can ever really say “Team x’s fans are jerks” because every single team has moron fans (if you don’t believe me, go to AL.com and check out some of the wonderful Auburn fans that post on the bama blogs). No one can really have a sample big enough to make a meaningful argument one way or the other.
I like the way Doak moves under your feet. I thought that was interesting. I think the facade is cheesy.
Maybe that's why I like Tiger Stadium, Eddie. It's comfortable and familiar (also the first place I ever experienced College football. My grandfather was an alum, and took me to games there until the fam moved to Alabama when I was 5).
I still do not like the Swamp. Being on the feild there would be different, I guess. It's loud, though, and EVERYONE is close to the field. I guess I'll give them that. Still think it's too cramped.
Oh yeah, I'll take "Bo Peep" from the #10 list. Neither he nor Danley were game-breakers, but they were tough, and a nice one-two punch for AU's opponents to deal with. I remember Joseph being described as a "slow burner" relative to his speed. I never quite understood how one could be slow and fast at the same time, but I still liked the description for some reason.
Monica,.... If you are lurking, check your in box, you have got mail. I actually fell asleep at the puter last night reading some ausome posts. I finally only moments ago, got caught up. You guys are doing a great job again today, but I expect nothing less. THT, you continue to amaze me with your talents, but I think the score is much larger than 2.0-1,THT-0. I want be around much today. Got to spend some time in the Gump. Grrrr as 2.0 would say. But you guys don't need me. I'll catch up later.
IV, I'm sure it is too, but I haven't seen many of 2.0's posts.
I was never pelted by more stuff flying from the stands than I was at The Swamp. So that one is automatically crossed off any list of "good" stadiums I would have.
Peter- Definitely nothing wrong with Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night as far as atmosphere goes.
I'll never forget two things when being on the field at Florida. First off, the student section was right behind the bench and the distance between the bench and the fans was all of about 3 feet if that. We were drawing up plays on the white board and getting blown out by this time and the fans were heckling the crap out of us and saying that play won't work either and so forth. It was crazy how loud it was and how close they were. Secondly, between the 3rd and 4th quarter, they all stand up and sing "We are the Boys" as they are interlocked with each other and each row sways in opposite directions. The first time I saw that, I swore the stadium was moving. It was crazy.
I wish Auburn had a good tradional song that was played between the 3rd and 4th quarters. My nod, as described below goes to Florida's "We are the Boys", but a close second would be Georgia Tech's "Bud-Weiser" song. I love that.
Whatever Michael, wait until Furman comes to town, talk about a-holes
I don't want any tradition that can be compared those toothless jort wearing rednecks. I hate them. I hate Bama too. Makes me want to kick a kitten*.
*Disclaimer: I have never kicked a kitten. I would never purposefully harm a domesticated living animal (unless it's steak-I'm gonna devour that!).
My ranking of worst (most obnoxious) fans, based purely on personal experience:
1. Florida
2. Virginia Tech
3. UAT
4. LSU
5. UGA
6. Ole Miss
I haven't had direct negative experiences with fans from other teams (that I can recall). I have heard from others that the WVU fans were pretty bad. Some of the nicer fans I've been around are Nebraska and Kansas State.
I think it's really funny that Tech plays the Budweiser song, but protested Anheuser-Busch making gold and black bud-light cans because it promotes drinking.
I wonder how paulmain would feel about that Peter
mrtommyd, that kitten is well-protected though, right?
Forgot to mention that UF fans were obnoxious even back when they weren't very good.
VaTech worse than LSU?! Wouldn't have thought that, but then again I haven't met any Va Tech folks. I wonder if there is a correlation between how bad these fans are and how pompous they are toward other teams.
VERY well protected Luv.
Links to both songs:
Florida's We are the Boys
GT Budweiser Song
And on second thought - their pomposity would make them a-holes too wouldn't it.
Thank you tommyd for once again stating the obvious.
mine is:
1.Florida
2.Bammer
3.LSU
4.UGA
5.Ohio State/Michigan (tie)
I don't hate the last two, because I've had some really good times with those fanbases. Nobody else has ever bothered me. My list is short because I like the opposition to be proud. That's part of what makes college football so great (well, in the south and midwest, anyway), so I don't even realize some people are probably being obnoxious.
pomposity
I like that word.
My Top 5 List of Worst / Most Obnoxious Fans goes like this:
1. Bama
2. LSU
3. UGA
4. Florida
5. Arkansas
I've been to each one of these places multiple times.
oh, yeah. please add Arkansas to my list.
At the Sugar Bowl following the '04 season, I saw many VT fans trying to start fights/trouble with AU fans. One even came down from the concourse and stood by my seat to heckle me directly in my ear. Among the many stupid things he said was that AU would have finished no better than 3rd in the ACC. It didn't phase him at all when I asked why we were currently beating the ACC champs if that were the case. The funniest thing was when I saw a VT guy push an AU guy a little too far with that kind of crap. VT guy ended up on his @$$ on the Superdome concourse.
"Nix to Sanders and... oh he caught it! He caught it! Touchdown Auburn! Touchdown Auburn!! Touchdown Auburn!!!!!!!!" - One of the best calls by our beloved Jim Fyffe. Put me down as a vote to Patrick Nix!
Favorite Away Game Atmospheres:
1. Ole Miss
2. Kentucky
3. South Carolina
4. Tennessee
5. Vandy
I only have two fanbases that bother me. Well truly there is a third, and when I say that a fourth comes to mind.
1 Florida
2 Bammers (not to be confused with Alabama fans)
3 Southern Cal
4 Dawg fans (once again not to be confused with Georgia fans)
And I'm sure these groups would feel the same way about the lunatic fringe Auburn fan ... if there were such a thing.
I've been told Ole Miss is the absolute best tailgate atmosphere period.
Maybe I wasn't told that
I went to Chapel Hill when AU played there in 1987. I liked the atmosphere there. Not intense, but enjoyable. Pretty cool how the stadium was surrounded by trees.
Done the Ole Miss tailgating thing. It is just like tailgating everywhere else, but it is all in one place so it looks cool.
When I went to the game, though, I was disappointed. At that time in only seated like 50,000. Weak.
Harrison is right. Furman fans are awful. They even have a chant that goes "F U (opponents name) F U"
Furman rags on D1 teams?!? I mean Furman rags on BCS teams?!?
I cannot believe we are so close to the season. I am starting to get nervous. As we saw last season, a hurry up offense can cause mass confusion. This year I am hoping it will be the other team that is confused.
When Furman plays Colgate, you can throw out the record books. That stuff is the real deal.
Choco Scott...
I was in Chapel Hill for that game. Now, that was some atmosphere. It's changed now they've added onto their stadium.
It was an incredibly cool day, and walking to the stadium, you had no idea that you were about to stumble upon it because of the trees.
Jet, I wondered if that had changed at UNC. I figured something had in 22 years!
ChocoScott ... I think they've got an additional upper deck that has made the stadium taller.
UNC stadium is still pretty hidden. I was at a UCONN / UNC Basketball game a few years ago and stumbled onto it also. Still has a lot of trees around it.
I remember in 1987, walking from a parking on campus into what looked like a park, and we just followed this trail for a few minutes.
Then, wham, we arrive at an arch, and it's the stadium. It was only about 50,000 seats then, but it was special in its own way.
Jet- I've followed that Same trail, I swear to get to the Dean Dome, right by the Football stadium. Never knew I was at the stadium until we were literally within a few hundred yards of it. From the other side, you can see the stadium from a little bit of a distance.
All this UNC talks makes me think of this Andy Griffith story, if you haven't heard it, click on the link and enjoy, I swear he is talking about UNC...
Andy Griffith Football Story
Same experience here, Jet. I wondered a bit if we were going the right way, even though we were following people who appeared to be going to a football game.
The Dean Dome was only about a year old when I went up there. I remember going over to check it out.
The love for Oxford tailgating makes me throw up in my mouth. I hate everything about Ole Miss.
ehyou- even the coeds??????
Since I don't have one of my own - yes, even the coeds.
i think the tailgating hype at ole myth is exactly that. a myth. i've been 3 times and tailgated in the grove twice. the scenery is MUCH nicer in Gainesville & Athens IMO.
In MS, they've got that same nose-in-the-air, we're-simply-better-than-you attitude toward MSU that many have experienced in the state of AL.
Kenan Stadium is still hidden in the trees. An addition on offices and luxury suites was completed this summer.
I don't think they've added additional seats; they can't even fill the one they already have, 'case it's the ACC, and ACC athletes are too delicate to play full-contact on the gridiron; they belong on air conditioned hardwoods.
Being forced to relocate to an ACC area during my formative year is still a source of family strife. just, just grrrr.
I've been to Ole Miss about 4-5 times. Never tailgated in the grove, but I can understand your feelings ehyou. Anybody that brings out there fine silverware for a game has to be a little bit snooty in the least.
"What it was, was football." Classic Eddie, Griffith has some good story telling bits.
Keep Hate Alive
Nothing makes me throw up in my mouth more than the phrase "throw up in my mouth."
ehyou - yep, I always picture Ole Miss as UAT West (attitude-wise, with MSU serving as their version of AU). If they had had more football success, they'd probably be even more like the Bammers. I've heard that Texas is like that to the A&M folks, as well.
Sorry RK. It's been noted.
Scott C- Texas is the ALabama of the state and Texas A&M is the Auburn in many similar ways. I had the luxury of working in Austin for awhile and it is very true, but I do love Austin.
I'm just messing with you.
Has anyone heard if Auburn radio broadcasts will be available in the stadium or will there be a blackout like UofA is instituting?
Eddie, thanks for the confirmation. I've got a couple of A&M friends, and that's what I had heard from them. I've also heard a lot of good things about Austin, though. I have an old AU buddy who has been living there for years. I need to get out there and visit him sometime.
Too much love for other schools ...
May I return us to a fundamental?
I hate UAT.
Apparently there is a drive by "No DROPPING!" in progress over on facebook today. Tell your friends.
NO DROPS!
Sensi ...
The blackout at UAT is viewed a positive of those who know of Eli Gold.
I second that, Jet!
Kenan stadium is still hidden in the trees. Still only seats about 60,000 after the last renovation, I think. Relaxing atmosphere amongst the trees.
Too relaxing for football!!!
I was referring to your 12:11 post.
Agreed, Jet. And I'm on record about how I feel about RodStan's broadcast, but I do like to listen. If nothing more, it helps me know which referee is hosing us.
"If nothing more, it helps me know which referee is hosing us."
Awesome.
Sensi ...
Here's a couple of hints ...
If the umpire keels over, and it looks like he's been tazed, it's because he's working with the laser-eyed referee Thomas Ritter.
If the white hat continually gestures someone over like they're calling a small child, it's Penn Wagers.
If the white hat is wearing crimson and white stripes, it's Steve Shaw.
Im freaking....walk on, Wade Christopher is starting weak side LB?
In re AU radio:
One of them is a real nimRod who whines incessantly. Oh, who am I kidding? It's both of them.
Jet - how's the concentration now? And please note, I didn't participate in the other school love list so please don't mark my name down in your list.
Well, Norm, I'm much happier to see us segue into such important topics of where HOTTIES stand on the issue of legalization of DROPS.
Muttering about officiating works for a period. Complaining about our radio crew and lampooning UAT's is always in order.
Jhag's question is certainly valid.
IV - I haven't gotten an email from you today.
I would rather mud wrestle with a puppet than sit through a board of directors meeting.
Monica mud wrestling with a puppet.
I need a cigarette after that visual.
JHag,
Where did you read/hear that? I know that guy was in the rotation, but we honestly have no idea who's doing what at this point. Chizik and co. have kept it all pretty close to the vest so far.
careful monica, puppets have been know to lace the mud with potassium hydroxide
Sensi ...
I guess you'll have to pay that smoker's premium for your health insurance.
2.0.... NO DROPS!
It's for the kids, Jet. It's all for the kids.
Front page, PMarsh
jhag- He is in Freeman's spot and if Freeman gets healthy, he will take it back. I've read that on both Rivals and Auburnundercover.
Being in game shape is more concerning than little nagging injuries if you ask me.
"And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy. And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? And they held their peace. And He took him, and healed him, and let him go" -- Luke 14:2-4 (KJV).
Just sayin'.
i repent! i repent!
Scottie,
So there are still tickets left for The Wallflowers this weekend?
j-z, baby, love - you should know the only things i drop are c-notes.
2.0 ...
There's no telling what J-Z would do if you dropped a C-note. Well, there probably is, but this remains allegedly a family blog.
as long as they aren't my c notes.
LOL at THT!
The 2006 Arkansas/Alabama game is on CBSCS. Wasn't suck game where each team fought to see who could make the stupidest mistake to lose the game?
THT- i'll keep that in mind when i'm in italy; i save all the money i earned this summer...let's pray i don't get deported
The 1983 Auburn / bama was on a couple of days. I got that one DVR'd.
RK, there was yesterday.
www.knoxbijou.com
hmm, what's that i smell? I think something is approaching...
Two Point Ohhh,
I'm counting on you to put in a good word and keep me safe from those puppets!
On the Rolling Plains of Dixie ...
I think I have every Iron Bowl since 1982 recorded somewhere around here.
'Neath its sun-kissed sky ...
'83 IB one of MrsTHT&THT's most favorite memories. Tornado warnings. Sideways sheets of rain. Field under water on either side of the hash marks. Bammers running scared for their pitiful lives while the Auburn faithful cheered the Tigers on to victory. And, of course, Bo's 256 yards.
