Here is the official arrest record from the Auburn Police Department.
Not much to see here, but I thought you might like to view the document for yourself.

HERE IS WHAT I WROTE FOR THE ADVERTISER:
AUBURN -- Auburn tailback Eric Smith was arrested early Friday morning for disorderly conduct.
According to records provided by the Auburn Police Department, Smith was arrested at the Lexington Hotel at 1:42 a.m. He later was transported to the Lee County Detention Center, where he posted a $300 bond and was released.
Police spokesman Capt. Tom Stofer said another student was arrested for public intoxication approximately 20 minutes before officers were called back to the hotel. This time, a fight was involved.
Smith was arrested moments later.
``They had a gathering going on there at the hotel," Stofer said.
Stofer said the charge can be resolved without going to trial, though a trial date has been set for Nov. 5.
Smith, 19, is vying for playing time behind senior starter Ben Tate. He rushed for 82 yards on 21 carries in 2008.
UPDATE: Smith is not participating in Auburn's practice this afternoon.

BOOM!
Don Kausler, Jr.
JZ I hope you're removing those for your date!
thank you, Cincy!
Apparently her covered bama in 1982 & 1983, not sure why he left or where he went.
he spent some time as an editor, managing editor and editor of a daily...so says Fbaum
I lived at Little Henry's and slept through the Copper Kettle explosion (It WAS Sunday morning). We got the news from 2 female friends (as distinct from girlfriends) who were looking for a warm place to stay because their gas was shut off.
smoooooth Nova..
btw Nova we decided against Key West, but thank you for the info
j-z, the new avatar got a chuckle out of me. I'm outta here. Everybody enjoy the weekend and be sure to hate some Bama!
Okay, not quite gone. One more Little Henry's story. One of my friends lived at Little Henry's my sophomore year. He was a huge Red Sox fan. We watched the World Series game where Buckner let the ball go through his legs at his apartment. I'll bet he caused structural damage to the whole complex with his screaming. Of course, it didn't help that both myself and the other guy watching with us were cheering for the Mets just to piss him off.
No, Buckner was not playing the game in an apartment. That was bad sentence structure.
Tock
Here it is 6:41 eastern time for me and I'm stuck on a con-call with folks in California again. I dislike work getting in the way of my HABOTN time.
Keep Hate Alive.
Aero-Out!
Enjoy your weekend and do something special, and don't get arrested.
You're welcome. I don't think Key West was what you're looking for.
Norm, those west coasters are evil. The keep me working late into the night.
Looks like I've missed out on a pretty fun day here. Now my call is over and family time begins because I'm ditching the next scheduled call 11 minutes from now.
Keep Hate Alive dadgumit.
I just watched this video again. It might be my favorite Auburn video if it wasn't for the rain on the lens and I must say that Quentin Groves is the best band director we ever had.
It is interesting that on the arest form for alabama there is a special big check box in the top left for domestic violence dual arrest. Somehow I find that sad. For it to be some prominent, apparently it isn't something very unusual.
bizzy day today.
Kopper Kettle woke me from my sleep a few blocks away. The whole house was shaking. My roommate was out the door in a flash. He was a volunteer fireman. Fortunately, that was not one of the times I stuffed socks, paper, or other stuff in the toes of his boots.
Well, I am not surprised he was arrested at the Lexington. They don't put up with shenanigans.
As you all know, it was built in 1921 using granite from the Chewacla Quarry, which was brought to the site on horse drawn carriages by first generation Italian immigrants. The grand staircase is a stunning site which is often used by the movie industry when filming scenes requiring features of a grand hotel.
The hotel may be best known for the "Marx Brothers incident". While traveling from Columbus to Montgomery in the early '20's on the vauldeville circuit, apparently Chico and Harpo (but not Groucho and Gummo) filled the grand fountain with several gallons of imported bubble bath. The result was that the entire 12,000 square foot lobby was filled with bubbles, all the way up to the crystal grand chandalier.
Did Smith get kicked off the team? I expected harsh... but wow!
Kicked off the team would seem excessive unless violence was involved.
DMIller...
I'm pretty sure he has not been kicked off the team.
Can't really tell what his status is by those comments.
I just got the feeling he has a huge debt to pay to the coaches and team.
It appears a lot of us were in Auburn when the Copper Kettle (which we called thereafter the Copper Crater) blew.
Woodbery has written up Chizik's statement if you care to read it.
He still has his redshirt to take, does he not?
I think a redshirt would reduce the "meaningfulness" of the punishment.
Based on the statement...I can't tell whether he'll miss a game or not. He may run til he pukes, which, based on what we know right now, is an appropriate punishment in this situation most probably.
FSJ...
That would be to the end of the block for me.
There is a chick that just befriended me on FB... that apparently knows me. She's quite attractive, and I cannot for the life of me figure out where I know her from.
I'm going to assume she was one of those drunken nights in college that I don't remember.
Is that the approach I'm supposed to take?
Agreed ehyou.
Shula "suspended" JPW for an Alabama/UT game that Brodie played the entire way..and most probably was going to play the entire way anyway.
And the suspension wasn't announced prior to the game.
It was a joke really.
D.Miller..
I always assume I've hooked up with hot chicks
So yes..accept her friend request.
Yes, a redshirt would reduce the meaningfulness to an extent... but, he also wouldn't get to play this year, would still have to practice and run til he puked every day.
It would almost be like a season long suspension, with the added benefit to the coaches of not losing a year of his eligibility...
Regarding the Kausler Jr. question above...
There's a newspaper guy..(not 92 D) that posts on Tiderinsider.....He claims that Kausler is a jerk to the highest order and is a snake in the grass.
So we will see I suppose.
Weren't most of his punishments jokes?
The question is can Auburn afford to redshirt him? I thought he was running 2nd team?
Is this not correct?
Can't think of one that wasn't D. Miller.
New thread up
With Tate, McCalebb, and Fannin.... I think they can afford to redshirt him. Maybe that just means Aycock gets PT.
