Gus Malzahn earns his first Auburn honor
Hey everyone. Auburn's offensive czar has been earned National Coordinator of the Week honors from our friends at Rivals.com.
His nomination was no surprise.
The Tigers rank No. 2 among the 120 FBS teams in rushing offense (345.5 yards per game) and fourth in total offense (572.5 yards per game) so far this season.
No team has run more plays from scrimmage than Auburn's 162.

Halloween should be entertaining, Nutt vs Gus
oh...that's what it read as, but I wasn't sure.
Phred, we have consensus. You're safe in that section...
Yeah, Bammers will start buying tickets soon. If not at $300, definitely at the $250 they drop to after the WVU game.
Isn't Boom making about 1.9 Million now as a DC? That is one sweet gig, getting head coaching pay for DC work.
Isn't Scottie in 12? I think you're safe there.
Come on people, get your tickets now!!! Tell your friends and family. The lady that came down with me this past weekend purchased 2 tickets today. We need to fill up the stadium with Auburn fans.
Boom makes 900k, I believe.
I say Gus busts a Nutt on Hallloween.
Yeah, I was a little vague looking back...
Actually I am pretty sure one of our esteemed ROF members is in that section, Phred.
That is still a sweet gig when you actually have job security as a DC. Not many do.
I'm out, peeps.
I may not get First Post out on time. But I WILL be LIVE BLOGGIN with Chizik at 11:30 a.m. CDT.
Piece to j00.
Goodnight Jay G. I think I am going to get back to work. Goodnight hotties.
Ok, I will spend the remainder of my evening concentrating on the Chargers.
Good night.
Night folks.
I teased you about it earlier folks but this time I really mean it. I'm turning in for the night.
Okay, that's bought. My logic was ... that's how much I would pay for a IB ticket and now I get to see five other games free.

any AU fan that lets their IB tix fall into the hands of a cousin humper should go onto the excommunicated list.
the athletic dept. needs to do background checks on anyone purchasing that tix package. make IB tix available at the gate 2 hours before the game as long as you are wearing your AU gear and can do most of the cheers.
a fraternity should have some pledges dressed up as $aban for the halloween game and sell eggs for $3 each to throw at them. great fundraiser!!!
it's 420...
Is that like "it's five o'clock somewhere," chip chip?
420 is the time when things i don't do anymore happen...
I'm a big fan of Feng. I'm not a fan of chinese takeout, but love the concept of fortune cookies. Feng is like a fortune cookie without the takeout.
Afford to be a good thing to mention is insisted achievements are achievements that the people themselves

USC@UGA replay just started on ESPN2 for you insomniac hotties.
IV:
Very long comment there. Sorry to disappoint you, my friend. Ces't la vie.
I'd think that saying someone is habitual of drawing flags, or lacking discipline is disrespectful. You can disagree with me and continue your mockery of our OL.
It won't be the first time Auburn fans mock their athletes. Specifically this kid, Ziemba, has faced enough of this to probably regret ever coming to Auburn.
His first year marred by a chop block, his last year for the scuffle with Coleman, and now this?
I don't like arguing with my Auburn folks, or having to defend an Auburn athlete, and that's why the statement that I'd have to question the intelligence.
My apologies, nonetheless.
Aero,
You remain one of my heroes. I can not begin to tell you what the sacrifices you and you family are making mean to me. Thank you for your service to our country.
Thank you for also being an Auburn man. It takes someone very special to be one. I am not sure that even in my 70 years that I deserve to be included in that elite group. I have never scored a touchdown for Auburn. I have never thrown a block for someone that did score a touchdown for Auburn. I have never represented Auburn on a lunar excursion. I have never been able to donate large sums of money to endow a chair or bring capital improvements to my beloved Auburn. I have never been a coach at Auburn and I certainly have never taught at Auburn in an effort to try and expand young minds in order to make a brighter future for us all. However, I did join the Auburn family by choice and in so doing, I became a part of a greater good for all things Auburn. I keep a copy of the Auburn Creed above my desk so that I can look at it often. I am looking at it now as I type this post. Each time I do, I ask myself, what have I done to earn the respect of my fellow man? Have I worked hard enough to be able to say that I have earned the right to the things that I know I must earn? Have I developed a spirit that is not afraid? Have I been obedient to the laws of our country in order for them to protect the rights of all? I could go on, but my point is that we all as individuals have to answer for our actions. Are those actions living up to the Auburn Creed?
I am an Eagle Scout and I believe in the Scout Oath and Laws. I believe in the Golden Rule. I believe in so many things that represent good and right, but have I lived up to what is expected of me? I don't know, I may have, but I certainly can do better. Believe me Aero, I do not think that I have nor, to the best of my ability to determine what I think is the truth from what I read, others made a mockery of Lee Ziemba. He represents me, you and all that love Auburn on the field of football battles, just like you represent what our country stands for. I could never make a mockery of the effort Lee Ziemba or you produce when I know that you, like he, are trying to do your best in representing each of us in that effort. If we must, we will just have to agree to disagree on that point.
I do believe that what has happened is that you have confused what myself and others are saying to you. We just don't agree that he should get a pass just because of the position he plays. I don't believe that Lee Ziemba would think that he should get a pass. I believe that, being the man that I know he is, he would say no thanks on the pass, I can and will accept the challenge of the position I play and will give every effort I can to be better for myself and for Auburn. That is the Auburn way.
This also has been a lengthy post. I have a bad habit of that. But I do want you to understand that I not knowingly meant any disrespect to anyone in my previous lengthy post. Nor do I now. And I will be the first to say that if I do not meet your lofty level of debate abilities, sir it is most assuredly I who lacks intelligence. Thanks again for all that you do.
Them thar's alotta words.
Hottie Hooooo, Tuesday!
Good morning, Hotties, and War Eagle!
Because of my neck and shoulders, I can't go back and scroll through everything to find out what you guys were saying about Ziemba. Can someone give me a brief synopsis? Thanks!
2 camps on Z:
1)Ziemba should be better and not jump 1 time per game because it's going to kill the team. I love Auburn.
2)Ziemba is awesome. He plays the second hardest position in football and does a very good job at it. Him averaging 6.5 yards of penalties per game is understandable and should be forgiven.War Damn Eagle.
I think that's a good summary.
In an effort to save $1500, I'm checking out public transportation in Miami. So far, I haven't been stabbed, mugged, or peed on. Wish me luck.
Thanks PF. IMHO, both are good arguments.
"You can disagree with me and continue your mockery of our OL."
Nobody in here is mocking the OL. Nobody at all. Nobody is saying anything bad about them at all, just that Ziemba draws a couple of flags per game could be one area of improvement.
No mocking, no ripping, nothing. Just observations.
I'm not complaining about this year's O-line at all, which tells me we had some serious coaching issues last year. Ziemba went up against a pretty hefty Miss State dude on Saturday. I think Ziemba will always get the d-line's best player. Todd has not been sacked one time this year.
War Eagle! Hottie Hooooooooooo to all the Hotties. Let's get ready for some football. Another Saturday with some rain possibilities. I'll continue to bring my poncho and hopefully keep those showers at bay.
Off to work. Have an orange and blue Tuesday. Hottie Hoooooooooo.
Good morning!!!!
Glad to see that I haven't missed anything lately.
Tuesdays are better than Monday's, JMHO.
Not much going on, Eddie.
Jay G- Is attending Chiz pressers as about as boring as it seems?? I don't think he will ever say anything interesting.
Find out the scoop on Hot Carter.
Not that he'll give a straight answer, but the answer should be entertaining.
New thread UPZ.
