Why is it, that Awfulburn always has a photo posted, and are always on the top of the sports page? This has got to be the most biased newspaper in the world, besides the New York Times. Awfulburn, and Obama, it never ends!Funny, we're often accused of being pro-Alabama as well. I wonder who's right? Maybe neither side? Maybe we cover the two teams equally?

good job aero!
Eddie...I was on US78 between V-R and DougVille looking for real estate earlier today. There are still several roads closed due to washout. I saw a mobile home about 10' off the ground and had been wrapped around some trees by the storm water. The creek was only 2' wide by 6" deep today.
Hoopie- You saw that on the detour on 78 i'm guessing which is less than a mile from my House. I live in Mirror Lake.
In my move from Montgomery to the greater ATL area pre-completion of the widening of 400, my primary concern was to completely avoid 400 in my drive. Since my work is just off 400 in Alpharetta, we moved about 6 miles from the office. So, if I beat the school buses, my drive to and from work isn't too bad. Sorry, not trying to rub it in guys.
Lucky you Norm. I do like Alpharetta.
FYI, getting some snow flurries out here in Denver right now. May turn into a snow shower before long.
Bro- Nice.
Eddie, I'm actually in what is now Johns Creek, but I think they're both pretty nice. There's a relatively new sports bar not far from me that I may check out tonight since I'm a bachelor until Monday.
Sounds like a good plan Norm. When you walk in....do they know your name?
I've never set foot in the place yet. But from what I've heard, this has the potential to become my favorite place away from home.
Norm- I was just assuming your name carried a certain weight no matter whether you frequent the place or not :).
It's full on snowing now. Gonna be a fun drive home from work today.
Bro- Make sure you call Mom to let her know you made it home :)!
I'll see everyone later in the 1st quarter. Off to pick up dinner!
Later bro. Shouldn't be a problem for the drive home. Snow isn't sticking to the roads. Will just be a pain to brush the snow off of my car.
Just checked out side. We haven't had a single snowflake in Columbia, but I think I know why. It may be because it is 78 degrees out here. E-Bro, I feel for you. I really do.
I hate mowing the yard...that's the one good thing about the cold weather is no more mowing once it gets here.
I don't mind it too much Steve, especially since I'll be moving back South in a few weeks. Never seen snow on October 8 before. I enjoy the novelty factor of it. The smaller ski slopes are opening up out here in Colorado this week.
I'll miss winter in Denver. Maybe not the drives to work through 10 inches of snow after spending ten minutes scraping snow and ice from my car, but I'll miss the snow and the skiing.
I have actually seen snow in June on Mount Hood up in Oregon. Yea, me and another dumb southerner drove up there to check the place out. We got to Timberline Lodge and it was snowing outside. We were in shorts and t-shirts. Yea, out of place rednecks.
Well, I'm gonna go brave the cold and the snow and head home. Later hotties.
It has never been cold enough to suit me.
ehyou, that's why you live in Macon, GA right?
I'm not trying to kid anyone. Macon has no redeeming qualities.
I love stuffed bell peppers. It's meatloaf and it's peppers - two things I love. How could you lose?
After not-so-extensive research, it appears that the all-time record low in Macon, GA was -6 degrees F. Would that have been cold enough for you, ehyou? You'll probably only have to wait 50 years or so for the temp in Macon to hit that again.
I could deal with -6. It's the hades in mid-summer that cannot be described.
ehyou- i love stuffed bell peppers too, full of Vitamin C.
Don't know what y'all are talking about, but Ciao Hotties.
did i kill the thread or did the puppets lunch a delayed attack?
Puppets are known far and wide for their vicious lunches. Darn puppets.
Oh, hey 2.0.
hey norm
btw, I meant to say launch not lunch. Puppets are Greeks; they don't eat lunch at 1600.
