Another expert chimes in
Hey everyone. I spent some time earlier today on the HABOTN Hotline® with Chad Simmons, who is Scout.com's Southeastern recruiting manager.
My people inside the Scout organization said he was the go-to guy.
And he was.
Here is some of what he had to say. You can read more in tomorrow's editions of the Advertiser, which will feature a story on quarterback Cam Newton.
My people inside the Scout organization said he was the go-to guy.
And he was.
Here is some of what he had to say. You can read more in tomorrow's editions of the Advertiser, which will feature a story on quarterback Cam Newton.
- On how Newton's signing affected Auburn's recruiting allure: ``It definitely didn't hurt. Everyone thought he was going to Mississippi State because he had such a long-standing relationship with Dan Mullen. So Auburn kind of stole him away and that was something of a surprise to everyone. It created momentum. All those kids, the recruits, they know Cam Newton. They know what kind of player he is. Signing him created a buzz. The offensive recruits think to themselves: Let's go to Auburn and play with a kid like that."
- On how Marcus Lattimore choosing Auburn would push the Tigers' reputation even higher: ``I'd say him committing to Auburn would push that class right up there near the top. Anybody who gets Lattimore, whether it's Auburn or South Carolina, will be better immediately. He's an awesome player, the total package of on-the-field ability and off-the-field presence. I say that, but I like Michael Dyer almost as much. They're both as good as it gets."
- On where Auburn would rank with Lattimore and Whitaker on board: ``That's hard to say because you never know what happens on Signing Day. There's always some surprises. If Auburn holds everyone they have right now and add those two, I'd say they're in the 2, 3, 4 range." (Auburn currently is No. 5 in the Scout.com rankings.)
- On the Tigers' class in general right now: ``It's a very good class. It's the best I've seen from Auburn. You know about the four- and five-star guys, but they have some great sleepers, too. Kenneth Carter is one. Dakota Mosley is a lot better than people think. I'm not sure he'll stay at tight end at Auburn, but he'll be good anywhere they put him. Considering it's their first full recruiting year, having to build a lot of relationships from scratch, they've done a really nice job. It's a huge success."
- ALSO OF NOTE:
- Simmons spoke last night with DT Jeffrey Whitaker and believes Auburn remains the leader despite Whitaker's trip to Georgia last week. ``I sense that he'll pick Auburn, though he hasn't told me that," he said.
- Simmons believes OL James Stone will sign with Tennessee.
- He made his final assessments and adjustments yesterday, which included bumping S Demetruce McNeal from the nation's No. 70 safety to No. 31: ``Teams are going to regret not going after him because he'll be an excellent college player. Auburn offered him as a sophomore and locked him up. He had an outstanding senior season," he said.

bam!
What's next, quotes from the Rivals and ESPN 150 analysts?
Once again, great info JGT!
PF, nobody here wants more information. One expert is more than enough.
Good work, Jay!
JGT - what color is the HABOTN hotline phone? Please don't say red.
Can I get one at my local AT&T store?
btw, I love this info!
also, 2.0 has been lurking all afternoon, so.. Hey 2.0!!!
As a resident of the great State of South Carolina, I really hope Lattimore ends up on the plains. I'm not sure I can handle the cockiness of my SC friends if he chooses Carolina.
That said, it's been fun asking them questions like "How many 1000 yard rushers has Darth Visor produced?" and "How many running backs have been drafted out of Carolina since 1982?".
thanks Jay
I agree, good info.
I'm a little surprised that a pay site dude would share pay-site analysis with a reporter who is sure to put the info out for free.
Why don't you put a "More Info" vote thingy up and we'll put this issue to bed.
PF, it promotes their business.
They're always glad to talk -- all the guys from Rivals and Scout.
I like Chad Simmons's big pushbroom mustache. It's regal.
Ah. Yeah, that makes more sense. I guess I should've thought of that, seeing how I harp about how far doing stuff like that goes towards branding from time to time.
btw - anyone seen the great picture of Caudle on espn.com today? Alongside Stafford, Ricky Dixon, and Sam Shields (all of 2006 recruiting fame).
Have now. That's pretty funny/sad.
Fantastic Work Jay!! I LOVE reading this kind'a stuff. Whiticker an Auburn lean? Great!! Add in a Lemonier & Lattimore and that will make a super class flat over the top.
Look forward to the article tomorrow.
LT
...anyone shocked that Tebow is mysterously ill at the Senior Bowl? I bet he looks fine in his Super Bowl Commercial.
I enjoy the information on the guys not being talked about as much in the recruiting class. That's very informative.
Why do I continue to listen to Paul Finebaum?
Yea Sensi, Why Do You Still Listen to F'Baum? I gave up the habit years ago.
Good info Jay G.
I still listen to PF, because for the first hour he had a legitimate show. I like him when he pontificates on stuff other than Auburn.
However, when I-man called in the show became the bash Auburn hour. Can someone cut that dudes phone line?
I don't know who I can't stand more, I-man or that tool Shane.
As ususal great substance Mr. sportswriter. We all enjoy your work and up to date info. Regardless how it goes with these last few recruits this has been a big success for the Auburn coaching staff.
Info, Info, Info the most important thing about this blog. Great work JG!!!!!!!!
I did notice one minor omission from the comments: Shon Coleman.
Of course a smart paper man like our man JGT would not give away the best stuff until after plenty of people bought the paper tomorrow. (wink, wink)
How bad would it suck if Auburn did loose Coleman to Alabama???
Whitaker to announce Monday, Lattimore Tuesday. Are Jones & Lemonier announcing on NSD?
JGT - you could make quite a circuitous road trip out of that!
Don't worry about Coleman. If he goes to UAT I think we should all chip in for a witch doctor to put a spell on him.
Coleman is AU bound... "100%"
Great job JAyG, Lot of substance, which many of us like.
PF, why do you say "mysteriously"?
Sub---stance, Sub---stance, sub---stance, faster now Sub-stance Sub-stance, Sub-stance, faster now, substance, substance, substance, GOOOOOOOOOOOO substance.
I hope you guys are right about Coleman.
I am listening to PF, (I know, I know), but it would just be a field day for the Bams on that show if our best prospect goes to Bama.
Bammers are slamming Auburn's class because 'Auburn can give them a chance to play'. Okay, did Alabama not do the same thing? Is that not how you start to build a program?
You win by recruiting good players, coaching them up, and winning games. Auburn has playing time to offer. You offer playing time, then win, then your program gets noticed, then you get more good players and the the cycle continues.
It is too simple.
luv...
Being ill is a little too convenient of an excuse as to why he isn't wowing the pro scouts.
(from last thread on breakup):
Norm: I have a daughter (3) and I plan on initiating preemptive strikes on any suitors. No one is good enough for her, and he will eventually screw up, so why wait for cause? Fortunately, she has three older brothers to help me with the beatings. If all goes according to plan, it will only take one beating (any subsequent potential suitors will be too scared to ask her out even if Dad's in jail).
ESPN reported yesterday that he was in the hospital with strep and a fever of 103 (although I had strep about 12-13 years ago and felt like death for a week, but I didn't go to the hospital).
JayGT: Thanks for the great recruiting info. Following recruiting sure beats the sports alternatives these days.
I hear ya luv...we're all cynical and pessimistic, that's all.
Luv,
I have trust issues. I see something like that and immediately think that what we hear is not the complete story. They say he's sick. He comes out and plays and one of two things happen. Either he shines and everyone says what a great player he must be to work through an illness like that, or he's rusty and everyone says "we'll, he was really ill." The setup has to be made because he's under a spotlight as much (or more)as he was all year for NFL purposes.
ESPN is part of the Tebow conspiracy.
I don't have a problem with Tebow. It's Urban Meyer I can't stand anymore.
ESPN created the Tebow conspiracy...and the Jay G Tate conspiracy, too.
G - Word - Peace - Out
The Jay G Tate conspiracy?
Jay G Tate to ESPN, Luv. It's all rumor and speculation...I'd call it a running joke if I didn't think that it could happen some day.
74-The 1st mistake is listening to fbomb.
The 2nd mistake is applying logic to anything the UAt callers have to say. They do it to get under the skin of ANY AU listeners. You gave a perfect example. AU is only getting players because they can offer plating time. How easy they forget they could offer playing time 3 years ago. AU only won their 6 in a row because UAt was on probation. How many times did UAt beat AU when AU was on probation. They never bring that up in the conversation.
AU fans can and do the same thing. UAt does not have the market cornered on that. It just seems to be many more on their side.
The best way to handle them, when they start taling about the games is just tell them 'I didn't watch it. My team wasn;t playing and I had something to do.' They looked stunned at first and then just walk away. I REALLY enjoy doing that. I did that for SEC champ game to a friend. He is still a freind, but we do not talk Fball because the thinks UAt is all that and a bag of chips. We don't talk about it and that is fine with me.
How about them apples!
when I mention it, I'm only kidding. I can't speak for wtc's mom and people that are really in the know.
That was pretty good wtc. Hope your mom is well.
I guess difference in the fan bases is like this. I expect both sides to get good players. I expect to win my fair share or games. I expect a championship run every once and awhile. However, my life is not defined by that, nor do I think it is my birth right. Bammers are defined by their football team, and that is sad.
My motto: recruit good players, coach them up, win games, then championships will come.
PF, oh yeah! I forgot about that rumor!
I am defined by my ability to make a good omelet. Is that sad?
Good omelets are hard to make. I consider a person that can make one exceptional in their attention to detail, patience, and knowledge of the egg. You win a trophy, Michael, for being you.
I've got stuff to do now. Really boring stuff that's going to cause me to want to drink when I'm finished. I thought I had done enough to get out of it, but alas, I didn't. Hooray for pointless posts
I say all of that to segue in to this: Where's the guy from Lubbock? I haven't seen him in a few days. I hope he's well.
Just read the article on ESPN about where the players are that were recruitied in 2006. They list the ESPN top 150 from 2006. Au had 3 in that list. Caudle, Eddins, Fannin. Fannin was the lowest rated of the group.
Interesting read.
You're a good egg, Michael.
wonderful substance, JGT. Thanks so much!
The greatest omelet maker is Miss Laura Baldwin of the Grand Hotel, Point Clear, Alabama.
She's the Omelet Nazi.
I'm officially going to pronounce the word "circuit" as "sir-Q'-it" instead of "sir'-ket."
If "circuitous" is prounounced "sir-Q'-it-us", then "circuit" ought to be "sir-Q'-it"
Or you could pronounce circuitous, "sir'-ket-us", Jet.
74, don't forget about luck. I've never seen a team that completes a championship run NOT have the ball bounce their way several times. I don't think it downplays the accomplishment, either. It's just part of the equation.
Who pronounces it sir-ket?
Now I'm hungry for an omelet...
I am going to be at the Grand Hotel next weekend. I am planning to order an omelet from the Omelet Nazi.
Websters.
Count Chocula ...
Might I suggest the buffet ... crabmeat, mushrooms, green peppers, green onions and mozzarella omelet.. And don't forget the cheese grits.
That sounds excellent, Jet. I will have more than earned my omelet by surviving a night on the USS Alabama with the Cub Scouts.
gosh, I'm hungry. I guess it would be bad form to wake MrsTHT up when i get home at midnight and ask for an omelet?
better idea. Michael, if you leave right now, you can probably get here about the time I'm ready to leave work. You can make me an omelet!
wtc,
Ben Tate was also on the list at #77.
Lots of good players down around #100:
77. Ben Tate
97. Isiah "Juice" Williams
99. Knowshon Moreno
100. Brandon Spikes
interesting article in the Decatur Daily showing AU payments to nonconference opponents in the next few years (also gives dates for these games for those who like to plan ahead)
Scott C,
When are you at the Grand? My sisters and I are going to be there the first weekend in February. I plan on having an omelet from the Omelet Nazi. I can't eat too low a cholesterol diet or I get too sassy.
They are predicting an ice storm for Nashville this weekend. It better be clear by Sunday because I am going to see my daughter and NOTHING is going to get in my way!
Cincy ....careful on the drive. Hope your daughter is doing better.
THT ..I noticed that 4 of those incoming pushover teams are getting around $925K to $1m to come to AU. That's a better payday than several of the bowl games pay.
Hoopie,
She is doing great - thanks for asking. And I will be doing great once I get to give her a hug!
Cincy,
Part of my family will be at the Grand on the nights of 2/6 and 2/7. My son and I will get there on 2/7 during the day after a restful night's sleep on the USS Alabama.
Fun stuff! I recommend watching #8. It's an amateur video that someone took from right on the field. You can really hear how loud it was. Also, in the honorable mention category, there is a link to this year's WV game. I think that video was very well done.
Best AU games of the decade
Dinner: Pancakes, bacon and one egg over easy, and Alaga syrup.
It was delightful.
dinner = instant replay from lunch. Salad with bacon bits and ham thrown on it to make it edible. Nothing else approached edibility in the work-place cafeteria.
I want a real meal.
actually, i spent 28 cents more on dinner salad...must have been the little bit of boiled egg yolk I threw on there.
I had eggs, grits (over the egg of course), bacon and biscuits... it was awesome.
Dinner tonight will be spaghetti with meat sauce along with a big hunk of garlic bread. It's almost Saturday; which means going to our usual place for breakfast, they all know our names and I never have to actually order because I always get the same thing - 3 scrambled eggs, bacon, roasted potatoes, English muffin and a lot of coffee. Then I take F4* to his new sports indoctrination program.
maybe I should stop at IHOP on the way home tonight.
Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name...
I think all that omelet talk got to some people.
Norm ... "roasted potatoes" and "English muffin?"
What? Are they out of Cream of Wheat?
That sounds like a breakfast straight out of Teaneck, New Jersey.
Get some grits and biscuits, you pansy.
Jet - I typed about the same thing and then erased it. Given your long association with Norm, I believe it best to have come from you.
THT, it had to be said, and I'm glad you were ready to reprimand him had his ridiculous post rendered me unconscious, which it nearly did.
no cream of wheat for..
HELLO KENNESAW GEORGIA (and Scottie B)
Has anyone ever eaten at a Flip? It is a gourmet burger place that just opened here in B'ham. There are apparently a few around. The burgers looked awesome, really works of art. I had a turkey burger (you know, the low cholesterol thing) with avocado and swiss cheese and some other stuff - it was incredible. I never would have known it was turkey. I recommend it if you come across one in your area.
Then we ate at Jim ' Nicks for dinner. I decided since I had turkey at lunch I could have brisket at dinner. It was delish!
I have chicken enchiladas in the oven as we speak....
I am starving! My little bowl of Campbell's soup at lunch did nothing for me. Which reminds me... I have had nothing but a bowl of Campbell's for lunch for the past 2 weeks. I want a big greasy cheeseburger tomorrow!
THT, I made your omelet. It had bacon, mushrooms, chives, and onions, with cheese and sour cream on top. You didn't show up. I guess I am worthless.
D Miller - lost any weight by just eating Campbells's soup for lunch? Or did you want to?
Michael -
Why were you trying to poison me?
Fungus?
Onions?
Chives?
Sour Cream?
Nasty, not to mention downright toxic.
Cincy,
I haven't stepped on a scale... don't know. I'd love to (need to) drop about 20 though.
Jet - you shut your piehole mister.
I suppose I could get a biscuit, the English muffin is what it comes with standard. I'll ask about the biscuit substitution. As to the grits, well, that ain't happening. I spent many, many years living in or around Montgomery before moving all the way up north of Atlanta and I have never, ever liked grits. Can't stand 'em. I'm not a big fan of watermelon either for that matter. I don't feel the need to live up to some stereotype of a Southerner.
don't worry, Norm. We can't get LGG Byron to eat grits, either. But he's 100% Southern.
Flip was started by one of the "Top Chef" contestants.
SC,
Have you eaten at the one that just opened in The Summit? Pretty yuppie place. I felt very hip eating in there :)
No, I haven't tried it yet. I'm just a big "Top Chef" fan. As E-Bro likes to say, I'm a dork. There always seem to be a couple of "Top Chef" contestants from Atlanta, and the Flip guy (Richard Blaise) is one of them. He was the runner-up season before last.
THT - I'm absolutely 100% Southern. I'd have to go back 100's of years before I found an ancestor not raised in the South (and those would have been raised in England). We're predominately Alabama, South Carolina and Virginia folks. So there it is. I'm a Southern male who can't stand grits and since I've been an adult (officially) they're on my list of things I refuse to eat. Brussel Sprouts are too by the way.
I'm outta here! Good luck to AU men's and women's basketball tonight!
Yep, I was as hip as Peter F eating at Flip's today :)
Okay, not out of here just yet. Norm, I can make grits that even yankees profess to like. I served some to a New Yorker just last Friday night. No, they don't have chocolate in them.
Chik Filet for lunch, salad and pasta for dinner. Threw in a 6 mile run before. Was going to the game tonight but have a few things on the honey do list that I want to mark off tonight.
I will have a greasy burger for lunch Friday.
SC-I make a pretty good mess of grits myself. Cheese, milk, even throw in some finely chopped Jalapeños. Not to bad. Only problem is wife and daughter don't eat grits. Then again, maybe it isn't a problem.
I'm not much of a grit eater, although the cajun shrimp and cheese grits at Sweet Bones Alabama are pretty wonderful. I think my cholesterol is going up just talking about all this food.
hello hotties. checking in on the latest recruiting. wtc, see if your mom agree's.
Still hearing we get lattimore, lemonoir, whittiker. lose bryan to arky, lose howard to clemson. may go after beasley. don't know who the surprise will be.
oh yeah. coleman to au still
Lots of rumors swirling around tonight about kids visiting, decommitting, others visiting.
I did hear that Chizik rescheduled his in home with Lattimore until Friday evening. He did not want to have the empty day between his visit and when Spurrier comes in on Saturday.
I also hear DJ Howard is no longer going to be a Tiger. he wants to visit UK this weekend and they asked him to decided between Clemson and UK. Hope I am wrong, but I think if Au lands Lattimore he is gone anyway.
spot on sponge.
carlos thompson, de out of ms, going to ole miss. he is quinton groves bro. he likes terry price, former au de coach.
i liked price as well. thought he was one of the better coaches au had under tubby. recall we had some pretty good de's during his tenure. he was one i thought chiz should have kept.
wtc, what i don't have a handle on is who the backups are. maybe grant gets in the picture now, but i have not heard that. lattimore getting huge pressure from SC to stat in state. he's not a slam dunk, like i thought he was earlier, but still hearing he's au bound.
you know of any more dt's that we may look at?
Jared Morse is a backup plan at DT... in state kid.
I guess you really can't hurt grits by adding "stuff" but just give me a big bowl with lots of butter and I am happy as a skunk in clover.
Norm - the last Yankee relative in my family tree dates back to the 1700s, Nathanael Greene. Of course, he saved the South from the Brits and then moved to Georgia.
I concur, diggerforAU.
Morse is committed to Vandy currently.
One of my grandparents was born in Indiana, other than that we are Southern Bred going WAY back.
Things that wouldn't taste good in grits.
sardines
brussel sprouts
snails
salmon croquets

THT Denny's in Tampa has good grits and will add more butter if asked.
Very true, Sponge.
Very true, Wake. LOL
Sponge-Grant is not an option at this point. If AU doesn't land Lattimore, they are happy to take Dyer only. Recall of all the recruits in the nation, Au has him listed as the #1 prospect in the nation. Doesn't matter what Rivals or Scout have him listed. These coaches think he is the #1 player, not just the #1 RB.
yep wake, my point exactly.
They have a back up plan and there could be some fireworks on Wednesday from what i am hearing. You may be surprised.
we should take grant, for no other reason than to get the second au commit to switch. plus, he's FAH.
Best case scenario, we keep coleman, get grant, get beasly away from clemson, d j howard goes to kentucky.
lessons taught to ua and clemson. don't mess with au recruits. this ait tommy tuberville your dealing with.
sorry, second UA commit to switch.
Low said Saban and staff do not worry about stars they trust their on evaluation.
Must laugh, isn't that what the bammers say got Tubs in trouble.
But it is hard to believe because if you look at there classes of the past 3 years you sure see a lot of STARS.
WTC, pleasantly surprised I hope.
digger, saban relies on the recruiting services to get him a lot of information, including sending him video, etc. I'm sure if he sees a prospect they think is a four or five star, he's checking out the video himself.
Au ole miss playing. gym is about empty. wow.
I'm not eating a pansy burger place ... I'm a supporter of the Gump's one and only Hamburger King (and 5 Guys when it is convenient).
I'm sure most coaches do that, use the services for info and video.
jet, do they have one w/ grits?
I miss burger night at Niffers
Hamburger King has regular burgers and jumbo burgers ... with and without cheese.
No bacon, no guacamole, no nonsense. Mayo, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion are available.
No fries. Chips.
Coke products, orange drink, chocolate milk.
If you need a dessert, Snickers are in the drink cooler.
Grits in the Gump are best found at the Farmers Market cafeteria downtown.
I'm convinced Dewayne Reed would jump in front of a bride and groom to get the first slice of wedding cake.
Jet-They should give him the nick name 'Apple'. 'Cause he is gonna have a lot of turnovers.
Oh, mercy, this broadcast is amateur hour. And then some.
Hamburger King is the stuff Legends are made of.
LIke the great Dustin "Apples" Hester.
AU student interviewing other student during broadcast:
"So what's so good about Lebo?"
ESPNU announcer refers to Auburn football coach "Frank Chizik."
It's a big tower with a clock in it.
But that's not important.
See, I knew you'd finish it.
Norm, at least you're married.
Stupup, I could definitely go for a Niffers burger and some corn nuggets right about now.
I was seriously craving some Mama G's recently, I need to get back to Auburn soon.
I never have two cups of coffee at home.
Norm, didn't you and the Mrs. meet at Woodstock? And didn't you get a hold of that bad acid?
Anybody know where you can watch the game on the internet?
Student who gives the Top 3 places on campus... admits on camera he's never been to Toomer's for a lemonade.
My favorite places in Au, back in the day.
War eagle supper club.
Hungry Hunter-great butt hut back then.
Auburn hotel downtown, where drink wars in the early 80's resulted in 6 for 1 drinks. Get drunk for about $2.50.
Notice there are no academic buildings mentioned.
Also, the concourse where brother Jed and Sister Sarah preached several times a year. A happening place.
WTC ... I wouldn't. It's ugly.
cincytiger said...
Yep, I was as hip as Peter F eating at Flip's today :)
Wait, what? This is either a strange compliment that I don't entirely get, or a completely random dig. Either way, I'm intrigued (and ashamed that I don't get it).
Not only that, he couldn't provide a better definition of Sanford Hall.
AU is only 8-26 from the field. AWFUL
Oh, it's a compliment. Flip Burger is the new artisan burger joint in Bham for the hoi polloi.
Can we guard anyone. deep penetratin by ole miss every trip down court. No block outs. awful
Arky-Miss St on ESPN. students get in free. not a lot of students, but there is an ice storm there now.
Now, the student has his first Toomer's lemonade ... on air.
This is embarrassing ... on the court and off.
AU's only offense, motion in the high post until someone randomly fires up a long three. OMG.
Points in the paint 22-OM and 2-AU.
I think Au leads the nation in giving up layups in a set offense. Run a high screen and the guard can just stroll down the lane for a layup. No one ever picks the guy up.
Wake,
Momma G's is awesome. I wish I had the money to franchise one here in Chattanooga.
Good looking blond give Niffers a mention on ESPNU.
AU started 4-5 from 3 land, now 6-16.
I think I am in love with Blondie in the truck.
She mentioned Momma G's and Niffers in the same chat.
Dang, I'm hungry now.
they are also 1st in nation in allowing back door cuts
When does baseball start?
Is it me or is ESPNU going out of its way to make Auburn look silly?
I mean the students.
The basketball team is doing what they always do tonight.
Au women get hammered by UT. Payback for last year. Don't mess with Pat Summit.
Mr. S ... the one positive of the night ... just saw a co-worker's son working in the truck.
Rob Stone is kind of a joker anyway. He and Bill Simmons (aka the Sports guy) are big buddies. This is how Stone rolls.
Somebody help me out, Tues. was Wing night at Niffers and Thursday was burger night...or do I have that backwards?
I know Flip, just don't know how that relates to me....am I "hoi polloi"?
Speaking of Burgers, this place just recently replaced Five Guys in my top 5 places to get a burger. It's brilliant.
Frankie Sullivan can really play.
sensi, it's just a lame broadcast, to go w/ a lame bb team, playing lame defense, in front of a lame crowd.
Look like there are tens of people there tonight. hate I turned that ticket down tonight.
Dewayne Reed knows the meaning of sacrifice ... it's what the other guy does.
Anyone ever had In and Out Burger?
I think the double double with cheese is the best burger in the country.
Jet,
That was funny.
Jet, Reed plays like I did in H.S. Never seen a shot he didn't like.
I think Joe is out of his element tonight. I don't think he has ever seen a basketball game.
I don't think Joe's spent the night away from home.
Did you guys hear that? Knox only averaging 20 minutes a game due to foul trouble. Well, maybe if we denied the entry pass occasionally....duh.
stu,
It's good. really, really good, but I'm not ready to call it the best burger in the country.
Among my finalists would be the Willy Burger at Willies Weenie Wagon in Brunswsick, Ga.
Pup - I have had an "In and Out" burger and I was very underwhelmed.
Wow, Reed is 2-8 shooting. Right on his season and career average.
Peter,
Never been there, but with a name like Willies Weenie Wagon.... you know it has to be good.
In N Out -
Animal style 4 x 4
the best
Peter,
In and Out is very polarizing. Most people really, really love it, or they don't.
My office is split, me and 3 guys just love it. However, there is a faction of the office that don't like it at all
Er, I meant Norm.
How do you make it through Camp War Eagle without having a Toomer's Lemonade? His counselor failed.
stu, if you're ever in Southeast GA, it's worth going out of your way for.
There was a beer and bait joint on the river here that I swear had the best burger money could buy. When Florida passed the no smoking laws they had to choose between allowing smoking or serving food, they chose the cigs... I was not happy.
Wait...Stupup are u talking In N Out in California?
Do they have on in the south?
Oh hi
Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I'd thought it would be after the hype.
