Auburn adds another commitment
Hey everyone. Our friends on the Internets -- AuburnSports.com, AuburnUndercover.com and ITAT -- are reporting that OL Thomas O'Reilly has committed to play for Auburn beginning in 2011.
He stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 315 pounds. Sounds like a made-to-order guard.
O'Reilly, who is from suburban Atlanta, said he's planning to graduate in December and participate in Auburn's next round of spring drills.
He also has offers from Florida State, Mississippi State and Georgia Tech among others.
He is the fourth player to commit. OT Spencer Region also is in that group.

substantial!
Substantivo!
Well played sirs!
Sorry JGT, this post is way behind. PF already told us all we need to know about this guy.
Commitmentitis!!!
The real substance is to my right...
Blogger is wickety-wac.
there once was a deputy named Fife,
who carried a gun and a knife.
the gun was all dusty,
the knife was all rusty,
cause he never caught a crook in his life.
I love our recruiting strategery.
Don't miss with Chiz.
Fool me once...shame on you.
Fool me twice...well I won't get fooled again.
The Chiz is coool...
We should put our recruits in a lockbox.
or a maintenance shed with no lights.
Trench substance!
Thanks for the update, JGT.
WARRRRR EAGLE!!!! Hotties!
hey, how bout some credit for Leach's breakthrough medical treatments?
Pirates are pretty cool.
Pirates' carbon footprint is out of control.
Thats silly Jet, Pirates use sails... they were green where green wasn't cool
When green*
I hear they can buy plenty of carbon credits...That should give them some leeway with ya Al.
We all can rely on PF for all the gritty, grimy details.
Seanzie, we don't get fooled again. Townshend and Daltry style.
I just have to say, babies are ugly, they look like martians.
babies have twin retractable antennas?
Big Al looks like he is gonna explode right outta Jet's avatar.
What kind of carbon footprint would that leave?
Can you prove they don't, THT?
How do you like my Interwebs?
Been out of town today. I see we got a big kid from GA today. Another part of the plan. Getting OL committed (and in school) is a good thing for AU. Looking for another one on April 21st.
I think we get another commit on A-day. Still a long way until February, but this staff is continuing to impress with their work ethic.
I see where AU had their basketball awards banquet tonight. When Know, Reed, Waller and Hargrove get awards for Basketball, you know they are just making up stuff to give a guy a trophy.
wtc, was Sir Lebo there?
I'm in a go back to bed mood.
Buenas dias Hotties. Como estan?
That's my default setting, PF.
Good morning, Hotties,
Got to sleep in until 6:30 today!! I feel so lazy. Off to do elliptical and watch another 30 minutes of Blindside. I have found watching part of a movie makes this much less painful :)
Work your cares away, dancing for another day.
Love the opening paragraph in the AJC story about the OL recruit.
thanks for that link, PF. If I was on MrsTHT's macbok, I would have found it. The AJC is still her home page...10 years after we left.
I found it via a late night Twitter from @AJCSportseditor...AJC does a lot of work on recruiting. I don't read it, but it's there. The comments on their sports articles are basically al.com
mornin'.
anybody listened to Slash's new cd? it's pretty good. he did the same thing that Santana did a few years back. guest singers on every track. pretty cool.
Sup homies? I like Sean's new avatar, I do not like Jet's. I also liked Fraggle Rock but that's completely different.
Does it suck like Santana's album? Sould I be able to find it on old jukeboxes in dark poolhalls frequented by rednecks like Santana's album?
Norm, thanks for the props, but really, Jenna does it all by herself. I have nothing to do with it.
funny PF. no, it does not suck like Santana's album silly rabbit.
guest artists include Ozzy Osbourne, Chris Cornell, Adam Levine, Dave Grohl, & Kid Rock.
Lots of money has been made off of that group by the mental health community.
But how does it compare to anything by David Allan Coe? I must admit that I don't know who or what "Slash" is. Does that make me a hipster-doofus? Probably not all by itself it doesn't but it may certainly contribute.
So interesting comment from the AJC article: "If my best offer was from the 7th best program in the sec..." Where does he come off thinking Auburn is the 7th best program?
UGA fans are just as bad as Bammers. I guess they're still mad even though they beat Tech, Tech won something.
In full disclosure, I bought that Santana album. I also bought a Nickelback album once, but that doesn't change my view that they're the crappiest band of all time.
Slash = former Guns N Roses guitarist with the top hat & cigarette hanging out his mouth.
PF....shame, shame, shame. :)
Wifey listens to The Pulse on Sirius ... and half the songs there are from Nickelback.
I always beg for a new channel. Ugh.
Anyone else going to have their nails done for A-Day? I'm having my done in a lovely shade of orange to match the orange colored glasses I see life through!
Jay,
I listen to the Bridge on Sirius, I'm old.
Nickelback = nails on a chalkboard. I cannot believe they actually have a fanbase.
cincy - I'm willing to bet a large sum of $ that considering the current participants here, you're the only one. Well, unless Jet's out there lurking that is.
I have The Bridge on my "C" band lineup. I'll hit it occasionally. James Taylor sounds good at times ...
Y'all know this already, but I have to say again: Barkley on "Inside The NBA" is so, so, so awesome. I wish more analysts (in any field) had the same honesty and panache.
I am not getting my nails done.
Hey guys, try it, you'll like it. Especially a pedicure! I love having my feet massaged - even if I am having to pay to have it done :)
Cincy-Nice car tag.
Last night I think D Reed got the 'shot hog' award.
B Knox got the 6th man award. He also came into the game after about the 2-3 minutes. Good thing AU didn't give out a 7th man award, because they didn't have a 7th man.
Most teams always give out a 'most improved' award. AU did not have a most improved this year.
What was that old commercial that had the line "try it, you'll like it"? I can hear it playing in my head, but can't remember what the commercial was.
Anyone ever been to Greek Sing?
What a long night. Beard Eaves sound system is so bad. 75% of the time you never understood the music, much less the lyrics to anything that was played.
I'm a huge fan of Pedicures. The Vietnames lady love my feet. I love that she loves my feet. I tip well. It's a good relationship.
Manicures are a waste of time and money. I can take better care or my fingers myself.
Tipping well is the sign of a classy, refined gentleman.
That explains why I tip well, of course.
I like the bridge. They play Jerry Rafferty sometimes. He rocks.
Sweet tag Cincy.
no mani-pedi's for me this weekend. enjoy cincy....and PF.
reed: most shots taken award.
waller: weirdest shot award
hargrove: most likely to dunk on your best player 3 times and miss his other 10 shots badly.
Well, it has been said here that I have no classs. Maybe I should reevaluate my tipping habits.
o'reily's commit gives AU a great chance with reese dismukes (OL from spanish fort). o'reily says he and spencer region have been recruiting dismukes hard. that would give AU a tackle, gaurd and center prospect committed and room for at least two more OL. nice job.
I've been to a few Greek sings. It was an event much like many high school football games. You show up, socialize, glance down at the action from time to time. At the end you see who wins then everyone goes out.
There is no need to be friends with Pat Dye, Vince Dooley, and the Lott Trophy on facebook. The same person controls them all and posts the same messages on all three.
yes Cincy! i'll be at a-day!
To file in the "worthless information" category, I remembered where "try it, you'll like it" was from. The old Alka Seltzer commercials. Glad that is settled, it was bugging my brain.
That's just about the most beautiful license plate I've ever seen.
If by "going to have your nails done" you mean walking into the bathroom to find my nail clippers, then, YES, I AM!
ehyou - You are correct re: Gerry Rafferty. I always admired his self confidence in that even though a (presumed) speech impediment prevented correct enunciation of "through", he still used that word a bunch. My favorites are Stealin' Time, Whatever's Written in Your Heart, and Island.
ANd of course Stuck in the Middle with You oh my stars! Those clothes!!!
Greek Sing is always interesting. I went my freshman year. But we had a few beverages beforehand, definitely made sitting through it a lot better.
And that "interesting" means I'd rather watch a competitive differential equations tournament.
Which I have to go learn about in 13 minutes.
yeah, good luck with that Wells.
Diff Equations sounds like doing time in Turkish prison to me.
A big OL commit from Pope HS in East Cobb that will graduate early and be on campus next spring! Shouldn't ever be a grade or discipline problem and seems to have athletic creds.
We are fixing that OL problem ..fo sho.
Differential Equations??? ..ain't no thang. At least they weren't 30 years ago when I was in school.
If you don't use it, you lose it. Oh ..wait ....uh.......let's go with what the Village Idiot Seanzie said.
wells,
Good luck with Diff EQ. That was one of my son's most hated classes.
I'm not really an idiot, but I love playing one on HABOTN.
I'm not a real doctor, but I love playing one on HABOTN.
Seanzie - take two doses of intelligence and post in the morning.
I went to a juco (Tech) and got stuff like diff eq out of the way before I came to the real school.
na na na na ... love me some Steam
HEllloooo KENNESAW, GA!!! GO D.A.!!
well, that didn't exactly play out as intended, but at least the count was accurate. Blogger is almost as dysfunctional as my family.
we must be related THT, dysfunctional here too. ;)
I can haz BCS win?
oh my stars! All this time I thought the dysfunction was from my biological family. Now I learn it could be from my Auburn Family?!?! Say it ain't so!
Somebody get me a CHEEESBURGER!
No, that ----->
is not a cheeseburger. I was just singing along with Steve Miller.
The avatar change was to bring it more in line with my usual post substance.
I would absolutely take a cheeseburger right about now.
CHEE BURGER, CHEE BURGER!
alas, I must wait until tomorrow for my Sutton's Drug Store Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and fountain cherry "diet" coke. (it starts off as a diet coke but the cherry syrup they squirt in it voids the diet claim)
No Coke, Pepsi
THT 2.0 - I sent NONSPAM email with important LHR hotel/transportation details. Please read!
Don't want no Cheeseburger.
I would get my fingernails done if I could make the A day game auurrggg can't do it.
This coaching staff is doing a great job on recruiting and this will show up real quick.
Go Chiz and Co.
ehyou - I'm Tar Heel born and Tar Heel bred, but I will not drink that Tar Heel brew. So drink all you want, you don't have to share.
...as opposed to the usual Spam emails you send her about loving her and caring for her safety. I'm sure those are annoying.
You know what else I hate from Carolina? Bank of America.
2.0 When you lurk on here you need to say howdy every now and then.
We love to hear from you.
This comment has been removed by the author.
You made 'hate' out of an 'h' and an '8'? That is clever beyond description.
Well, howdy.
I've read Mr Pope has a real mean streak, i likey and hope it's true.
Charles Barkley is great on the mic when talking basketball.
I'm not getting my nails done but i'm setting my dvr and will watch sat night.
If you don't tip well, don't go back because they'll remember you. If you go out to eat and can't tip well, then you really can't afford to go out to eat.
Clash of the titans in 3d was good, but a lil choppy.
The new Merle Haggard album is available to preview in it's entirety at NPR.org/music.
Scroll down a little and you'll see it on the right side of the page under "Exclusive First Listen."
Any interesting culinary creations lately?
The "little choppy" is my complaint about 3D...that, and the ridiculous glasses that cost way too much.
old Merle's still alive?
Thanks Frankendude, I believe I'll check it. I have a man crush on the Hag.
I thought the same thing, Scottie B. He's gotta be like 145 or so now.
pedicures seem like a strange topic for this blog
Strange for this blog? Have you been here before?
The boobie is back!
do women give men pedicures or massages or is this same sex trade
Getting busy down here, the creativity takes back seat to timeliness pretty soon. Been buying a lot of flavored sea salts, i think the lemon one was the best i used. Made some good soups lately, great black bean and tasso one. Aside from that it's the grind,55-60 hrs a week with a big smile on my face.
Ain't no dude touching my feet.
i agree ehyou im all in for the fine female massage but aint no man touching me
and we digress
I'm with Ehyou. No dudes allowed. I'm also a one Vietnamese lady man. If she's not working, I'll come back later. Monogomy is good in some situations. Pedicures are one of them.
do they give happy ending with pedicures
Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins.
binoba's avatar always reminds me how much I love fried catfish. I could use some of that with a glass of Tubby's Pond Water right now.
chip chip - from an earlier thread... standing in an intersection and throwing cats in every direction sounds way too much fun, regardless of what they hit.
Good Lord. I've heard about this. Cat juggling!
marshall to the dolphins is sick
juggling pussy cats is a risky hobby
great tag cincy
Anybody else sometimes wonder whether the paulmain kitty is sleeping or suffocating?
"I was just taking a snooze in that double-barreled slingshot thingy and then, WHAM!, all of a sudden I couldn't breathe."
I've often thought it wouldn't matter which were happening to me if i were in that kittens spot.
No Pepsi, Coke. All day.
Jay G. Tate's article in today's MA on Auburn's football team of the decade
Andy Bitter's article on already enrolled freshmen, LB Jessel Curry and DE Craig Sanders
No Coke, Pepsi!
Pepsi, Pepsi, Pepsi
Jay G Tate - instead of watching a boring football practice event on Saturday, you might consider live-blogging the terminally exciting Equestrian National Championship event tomorrow through Saturday in Waco, TX.
Then again, Saturday will be your only opportunity to watch a football practice. I hope they don't decide at the last minute that A-Day Game will be closed to the public and media.
You guys have obviously never been to the Olympia Cafe.
I have not, ehyou. What & where?
Former AU placekicker Jorge Portela's daughter will be riding Hunt Seat for AU at the national championships.
New Thread is up.
This comment has been removed by the author.
Well phooey on y'all. I thought Jorge Portela's daughter's AU Equestrian exploits deserved a little more interest.
