Dismukes picks Auburn
Hey everyone. Reese Dismukes will play at Auburn beginning in 2011. We know this because he just made that announcement at his school in Spanish Fort.
He said he was close to a decision earlier (ie a few months back) and he had a different decision in mind. He instead chose Auburn. "Things happen for a reason," he said.
So here's the deal. Dismukes was prepared to choose Alabama in early January. Nick Saban likes to lock 'em in early. Then Dismukes' 6-year-old niece came down with a nasty respiratory problem that prompted a 53-day hospital stay. Dismukes' mother, Kim, said any decisions regarding her son's college choice would be delayed until the niece's situation improved.
Once that happened in late February, Reese Dismukes had undergone a change of heart. That suited Kim just fine. She's a 1986 Auburn grad and a pharmacist here in town.
Wo why is he wearing a doo rag? Dismukes began wearing them during the football season because his hair was so long. It became his trademark. He even wore a doo rag -- matched with his date's outfit, of course -- to Spanish Fort's prom earlier this month. Kim went searching for an Auburn bandanna yesterday. She couldn't find one, so she made one from an old pharmacist's smock she had lying around.
It was an Auburn smock.
ALSO: He may take official visits to Alabama and Stanford when the times comes, but he reiterated his stance that he is and will be "100 percent Auburn."

OL COMMIT SUBSTANCE!!!!!!!!!!
dang you Norm!
Yea, for REESE!!!
Wow. how did we all comment at 1:41?! Thanks jayg for instant streaming of all things Auburn!!
yippe yippe
beat mississippi!
thread happiness has returned
Y'all can't hide from me.
I think it's cool that we have our own official HABOTN Recruiting Team! Jay, your recruiting percentage is now on the up.
1:41 lasted 60 seconds.
ehyou - I'm hiding from you right now. You can't pinpoint my precise location very accurately.
You know, when FSJ starts a thread with that post, it flies all over me. Somehow I don't mind when someone else does it. How about our page-flipper moonlighting as a page-starter?
Dude made a good decision. How do I know? Cause Auburn is the awesomest place in the world that's why.
Where is this looking to rank among best OL classes of all time?
JGT....
Ok got the right link now....cool beans!
A number between 0 and 2. But neither of the ones listed.
Not only am I #1 here, I'm also #1 on Jet's "Alliance of Irritation" listing. I'm equally proud of each accomplishment.
So does this mean Saban didn't want him, because if he really did there would be no way he would be able to choose any place other than West Vance?
I like how RD answers the question concisely, then stops.
That's not however, much fun for the press.
Yes Tommy. It's a good thing because he would have never seen the field at Bama.
I asked a couple of Bammers I know that question this morning. Both said that he's very good and that Bama would love to have him. They'd both already given up for today, though, and both said they hoped he'd "pull a Spencer Region"
Norm...
Who does #2 work for?
Could today GO any slower? Thank goodness for HABOTNtainment!
In additional sports news, my son's 8-year-old Braves moved into 1st place last night with a 28-8 thrashing of the White Sox. We were happy to see our Major League brethren join us in the same position later in the evening.
Scott C,
Hopefully the Braves bats woke up late in last night's game, because if they haven't Halliday will have a field day with them.
PF--Ha
28-8? No mercy rule?
I was thinking the same thing there, PF.
There's no mercy rule in my daughter's league. They got mashed 21-4 Monday.
Braves win in dramatic fashion last night.
Auburn wins in Krootin' today.
Life is good.
I'm with PF this could end up as one of the best OL classes in a long time.
Does anyone have any shades with the new Costa 580 lens?
If you're in the market I highly recommend them.
Hmmm. Maybe the mercy rule and everyone get's a trophy is going away. I blame the baby boomers for all of the things like that that they say makes our generation wimpy (after all, the kids didn't decide that everyone gets a trophy).
Zeimba's class wasn't exactly shabby.
Can't remember if I mentioned it, but one of the local schools here defeated Greene County 40-0 and 26-0 in a best of 3 series to open the baseball playoffs. The five-inning rule was in effect. Greene County qualified as the runnerup from its region, which was a two-team region.
So is Dismukes the greatest of all time?
Grimes very well might be the best recruiter on a team of amazing recruiters.
So in case anyone hears differently...
Just spoke to Reese Dismukes, 2011 offensive center from Spanish Fort, Ala. He plans to announce his decision next week. Bama leads.
Twitter: Andrew Bone
It seems that Spencer Region won't be the only offensive line commitment that we get for the 2011 class in the next few days.
Mercy rule in my son's league is only 8 runs allowed to be scored by each team per half-inning. Both teams scored 8 in the first inning. We shut 'em down the rest of the way. The game ended after 4 innings instead of 6 because there was no way the other team could catch up.
Anyone know where our 3 linemen currently rank? Dismukes is #3 center and on the espn 150 watch list.
Wow, so a 20 run win with a mercy rule.
According to Scout ...
Dismukes No. 3 center -- 4 stars
Region No. 13 guard -- 3 stars
O'Reilly unranked -- 3 stars
Chizco is not letting up. As he promised they will fight for every recruit anywhere any time. GO CHIZCO.
I have added a pic and a bunch of background information to the blog.
cool. smock substance.
It is said, but not enough...
Thanks for what you do JGT.
Excellent Substance!
Thanks, JayG, and War Eagle to the doo rag lineman. Welcome, Mr. Dismukes!
So why did the Spanish have a fort in Alabama? Was it more of a fort like what my neighbor had, where someone's dad just nailed a bunch of wood together? That was an awesome fort, by the way.
Guess if you cut your hair you don't need a Do Rag?
see pharmacists are cool. I made a bunch of underpants from an white lab jacket I had. Wish i had a different color though, white doesnt last long
He's a cool kid.
I strangled a guy with a lab coat one time. And there was totally a rope, like a foot away, but I wanted to use the lab coat. I thought that was creative.
Don't hate. I wish my hair was that luxurious.
I wonder if bullies tell Dismukes, "Oh yeah?! More like a DON'T rag!" If it were me, I would probably cry. I'll bet Dismukes crushes them, sees them driven before him, and hears the lamentation of their women. He and I are different.
Was this the statue they are going to unveil at UAt:

SOmeone click on this and then put in the link language.
Good job JayG.
Very good substance. I am hearing UAt never offered or he was a back up plan for them.
WTC ...
You forgot ... not gonna qualify unless he cheats.
That fellow is much too tall to portray Saban.
That statue is a little too jolly also.
Have we used the word lamentations before on HABOTN? If so, I'm sure not so smartly as Michael.
Michael - I'd love a good HABOTN substance-containing post containing "entropy". (i.e. not a gsjdfkgf entropy sldfkd8 post) That word deserves more usage.
Did you go see the champ"entropy" at Walmart?
I know he's officially 275, but Dismukes is much bigger. His coach said 295 and I believe it.
My previous post should have begun with "Hey Cletus...
THT - the "lamentations" is from an old Conan the Barbarian the Barbarian quote, so the prestige you speak of belongs to the governator.
A post on entropy? Entropy is the leftovers. Entropy balances the equation. In nozzle applications, the Gibbs equation allows us to relate change in entropy at a certain temperature to the internal energy, pressure, and change in volume. Using the first law of thermodynamics, the equation of state for a perfect gas, and the continuity equations, you can derive some fairly straightforward formulas for the relation between pressure, temperature, and density all as a function of the mach number of an isentropic fluid.
Huh????
Michael, Screw you and your entropy.
weagle, I am just saying that T0/T = 1 + M^2*(gamma - 1)/2, and p0/p = (T0/T)^(gamma/(gamma - 1)). This is true for both subsonic and supersonic flows for the length of the nozzle.
Michael's definitions of entropy have cause a lot of entropy on this board.
Also:
Quentin Groves traded to Oakland for a 5th round pick.
I'll show you the length of my nozzle
Conan the Barbarian the Barbarian was was twice the bad@$$ that Conan the Barbarian was.
Indeed, Scott. His last name was "the Barbarian." He also happened to be a barbarian. Maybe it would have been less confusing if he had followed his father's footsteps, who was known at "Terrance the Barbarian the Dentist."
So who's going to play QB this fall?
Saying "was was" is also twice as effective as saying "was".
I think I once went to that dentist.
Seanzie, the smart money is on Cam the Barbarian the Quarterback.
I'm going out on a limb and saying Trotter is the guy. On a hunch.
Interestingly enough, I attended a prayer vigil for this little girl not knowing they were any relation. She was a classmate of my best friend's daughter and was one sick little kid (drug induced coma, deluxe ventilator...the whole nine yards). For those of you with young crumb snatchers this stuff is very scary...a persistant cold that develops into full blown acute respiratory distress syndrome. At any rate, I think she is recovering nicely now. Very strange how fate works. War Eagle hotties and thanks for the on location reporting JGT. Please don't egg my house on your way back to I 65.
"Barrett the Barbarian" sounds pretty good.
Barrett the Backup
Barrett the Barbarian the Backup.
I didn't say "Barrett the Barbarian the Quarterback". Weren't you paying attention during MJT's lesson? I was just suggesting that Mr. Trotter might be handy with a battle axe.
Should have refreshed before posting. Thank you for clearing that up, MJT the Barbarian the World's Finest Singer and Goatherder.
You're welcome, SC. I would sing you a song if the internets worked like that.
I'm thankful they don't.
Yea! 2.0 is safely tucked into her Heathrow Hotel. She comes home tomorrow!!! One of us is thrilled.
OK, I will try to sing a song on the internets, just to spite THT.
Laaa dee doo, oh yeah, laa dee doo, oh oh oh oh yeah, ooooooooo weeeeeeeee hanging at HABOTN, o yeah, at the end of, uh huh, ha! Puppet-a, oooo Hoooouurrrrr!!! Hootily dee! yeah!
Actually, that's a lot better than Jan Terri's singing.
yeah but you're a lousy dancer too just like Smitty
Michael - that was some substantial entropy post. But it still wasn't as substance laden as...
BEASLEY!!! a day late and a dollar short :-(
and with that, a barbaric puppet hour has concluded.
Nice job, MJT! You started and finished Puppet Hour with the strength of a barbarian today. You had me laughing out loud with your 4:04 and 4:59 posts.
Harrison, I cannot stand by in good conscience while you sully the name of Smitty and my dancing skills all at once. That is why I will remain seated. But I won't stand. By.
If you didn't have youtube blocked, you could easily see Captain Boxhead's enormous dancing skills, which are strikingly similar to mine.
Harry,
Did my mudbug win the battle royal?
they wouldn't really fight. I tried to make them. we threw some at each other, but i didn't like that. They are quite pinchy.
Just checked the SEC teams recruiting progress so far. Here's the skinny.
Ala - 11 commits, lots of stars
LSU - 10 commits, the most stars
UGA - 6 commits, lots of stars
AU - 5 commits, considerable stars
MSU - 5 commits, some stars
UF - 4 commits, lots of stars
Ky - 3 commits, some stars
Arky - 3 commits, some stars
USCe - 1 commit
UT - 1 commit
Ol Miss - 0 commits
Vandy - 0 commits
Is considerable more than lots?
Apparently Eddie was right. The helmet decals were 5/8" bigger. The reason, as I suspected, was better TV legibility. Oh, and the 50-yard-line AU was bigger, too. Here's the story from Evan W.
Great link Second. Well that settles that. Hope it ends up being Just A Test........
Considerable = 3x more than lots!
Thanks for the commitment substance, Jay. I do think with a little work Dismukes will join Trotter and Holland on the All-Hair team.
As for the logo thing, I think a more subtle approach would have been best. Just increase it an 8th of an inch each season and kind of ease us into it.
I didn't think stars had been awarded yet. Besides, stars can grow with age. Coleman wasn't an initial 5 star.
SteveFC - you said something earlier today that was hilarious... forgot what it was, but it was hilarious.
Everyone's watching hockey tonight, right?
Sissies.
now I remember... the iPiercing. That was funny.
There have been some great Hollywood directors, but no one can hold a candle to this guy.
THT, sorry but I just don't get into hockey. Hockey is just a bunch of foreigners beating each other with sticks. I can get that on Fox News all year long.
CH=B - get out and play some roller hockey!
I'm not "into" hockey, but I've thoroughly enjoyed every Thrashers game I've attended. Outside of the actual goal scoring, I have zero idea what's going on but they do make it fun to be there. Of course, it doesn't hurt that I get to use my company's Suite and seats at Center Ice about 5 rows up.
War Eagle, keep'um coming. Thanks for the coverage Jay, once again a very good job.
this is priced not to sell anytime in the next 500 years, but it is very interesting. Perhaps some of the Alabamian Hotties' ancestors authored the testimonials. Printed by the Montgomery Advertiser in 1846, it even mentions Wetumpka.
2nd intermission = ice cream time!
I love the "hi, I mean, I have no idea" video. It reminds me of a video I made long ago I like to refer to as "tap, tap, tap, is this thing on".
I find it kind of silly for these kids to have special news conferences to make their announcement. It looks like they would just do it at a pep rally or some other school event. When there isn't a lot of say, it makes for some awkward pauses.
I did watch the UStream and found this young man very articulant and smart. His answers were to the point a short. Hope when he visits the West Vance campus he will look down on his shortness and say hey coach you got dandruf.
4th quarter (aka 1st OT) just started in Boston.
My team is off tonight therefore I'm not watching.
there must have been 10+ minutes of uninterrupted hockey, no frozen pucks, faceoffs, etc. Just back and forth fantastic overtime playoff hockey.
Did anyone see the video of the play at the plate where the guy jumped over the catcher. Pretty cool stuff.
http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/big_league_stew/post/Superman-leap-makes-Fordham-player-a-viral-video?urn=mlb,235668
2nd intermission is ice cream time. Regulation or OT. They are headed to 2nd OT period in Boston. If we can get to a 2nd OT intermission, the bowl & spoon are ready!
Last time Bruins won a multi-OT home game? 1939.
Hockey trivia - the two longest games in NHL history both went into the SIXTH overtime. That's almost 3 entire hockey games! Both games ended 1-0.
After 116:30 of OT, the winning goal for the Detroit Red Wings vs Montreal Maroons in 1936 was scored by...
Mud Bruneteau. Yes, Mud.
2.0 is up early and heading to the airport.
Rise and shine, Hotties!
Or get some sleep. Whatever sounds better.
We've still got west coast hockey to watch!
Hello hottieladYlad to hear Dismukes committed to the good guys today. Salvaged an otherwise sucky day!
Let's see.... Out on Lay Lake working, and the boat breaks down. Sat out there for hours waiting on help. Got a replacement boat, and tried to finish my work, and that boat overheated! Had to do some on the spot repairs. Finally got off the water after dark, feeling sweaty and sticky like an overworked fluffed after a hard day. I'm fried to a crisp to boot.
I hope tomorrow turns out better.
Goodnight hotties!
hottieladYlad = hotties! Glad...
Fried fingers don't type well.
Hasta mañana.
I suggest everybody drop whatever they are doing when they read this, and immediately watch the video I link. If it doesn't make you happy I don't know what will.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G18jhC3b53A&feature=channel
You can't force your happiness on me.
Link it. Copy and paste is a pain in the butt on the phone.
William Shatner is the most awesome person that's ever lived.
Bruins > Buffaslugs.
Come on Hotties, PF has a huge head start on us today. Rise and shine!!!
WARRRRRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!
All Eastern Conference 1st round series are 3-1
IF Blackhawks can win tonight, all Western Conf. series will be 2-2.
2.0 will get to watch her Penguins tonight!!!
It's Long Commute Thursday®. I'll catch up with y'all from Southern Pines around 9.
Hopefully the Blackhawks don't win tonight.
Morning Hotties!
THT, sure hope 2.0 gets out of Heathrow today.
Tylerson informed me had passed his background check for new job. Said now all he has to do is graduate and pass drug test. Informed him if either of those things didn't happen, not having a job would be the least of his problems. :)
DRAFT NIGHT!
This didn't take long.
Dismukes Smear Campaign By Bammers
Good morning Hotties.
Sensi, the walmartians are a bunch of classless, toothless crybabies. They can't stand it that we have already taken two commitments from them and it's only April. I love it.
FSJ, what is wrong with your people?
Wife says wearing a bowtie with a seersucker suit doesn't work. I wore it anyway, because I think my seersucker suit only works with a bowtie. She's a hater.
I prefer a tie, but it works both ways with seersucker suits.
So, NFL Draft day. Rumors that Big Ben has been traded to the Raiders.
Also, SEC expanding to 16 if Big 10 does...hmmm
SUPER SEC CONFERENCE???
I hope not.
Peter, it's good to see that some folks still have a sense of style.
Just another reason to hate the Big Ten.
This time for possibly ruining college football as we know it.
ESPN radio has talked about Ben every day for weeks on end. I can understand it being newsworthy in Pittsburgh, but does the rest of the country really care? They have become sports TMZ.
It takes a debonair man with great elan to pull of the bowtie and seersucker look.
PF, I have no doubt you can do it. You could probably pull off wearing the ascot, too.
Let's play the ever so dumb "what if" game.Who would the SEC choose to dillute?
First, I don't think it would be wise to go outside of the "2 per state" rule the SEC currently employs. If the want to use the same timing as the big 10, they'd have to avoid looting the Big East (27 months notice to leave), so the obvious USF is out. That moves Central Florida up as an option. FSU would also be ab option if yhey could pry them away from the ACC, but I don't think they'd take both. Clemson and Ga Tech are also obvious options. Texas would turn down the big 10, but they probably wouldn't turn down the SEC. If the SEC goes west, aTm and maybe La Tech would work as well (Arkansas region).
Now, if the Big 10 takes Big East teams, and the conference ends up disbanding, Louisville and USF become commodities the SEC could want.
I see most likely: Texas, aTm, USF, and La Tech as the expansion.
After reading Sensi's link, it reminds me yet again that I thank the Lord every day that my dad, freshly discharged from the Marines six months after World War II, hitchhiked from Centre, Alabama, to Auburn to visit his sister who was attending the school he didn't know much about.
Jet,
I'm kinda against ascots. While very trad, it's not southern.
Amen to that Brother.
If the SEC were going for just a double instead of a home-run, I'd say Clemson and Tech are two likely additions.
Whether the ascot is Southern or not doesn't matter. You could carry off the look. Norm, though, would like an idiot.
I have the Seersucker, but I do not have an ascot nor a bowtie. Just sayin'. Shut up Jet.
Everybody else, good morning.
While i hate the idea in general, I think Clemson, Tech, FSU, and Texas would be awesome additions to the SEC. Three really fun road trips and one founding member coming home.
They would be great schools to visit, but like you said, the idea is loathsome.
I just hate the idea of super-conferences. It would dent regional identity in college football, which is a big deal in the South, obviously.
PF and E-Bro,
I concur. As I tell Mrs. Jet, bigger is not necessarily better.
I don't want to add FSU, as that would put us opposite Jhag, and none of us should want that.
Another big signing day for AU today. Hopefully we get the basketball player from Huntsville. This will be a BIG get for Barbee. Prior coach did not even contact the kid. He visited AU last weekend, cancelled a trip to West Va for this weekend and is ready to announce today.
SEC expansion is grody.
Also read an article on the JUCO kid that is staying with his AU commit. Adrain Forbes (6'8" 230lbs).
He described his style of play as "down and dirty".
"I like banging, I work around the basket. I like rebounding, blocking shots, taking charges, and working that midrange. I just like getting dirty." (from a free Rivals interview)
He said "I like banging"
Hu hu hu
Funniest commercial ever?
Good morning, but I digress.
I guess everyone's gone to try and watch that commercial

Personally, I like the idea of 16 team conferences. It simplifies the playoff picture.
What would be dream ads be?
1) Georgia Tech
2) Florida State
3) Clempson
4) Texas
5) Texas A&M
What, five? Yea, we give Kentucky to the ACC since we hit them so hard.
Yea, I considered Texas Tech for the irony factor, but decided against it.
Well, I'm fervently against the idea of 16 teams, but that's a solid looking list of teams.
Give 'em Vandy instead (SEC Academic rankings be damned). We need Kentucky for basketball.
Basketball is a sport invented for conferences that suck at football.
I do believe the mega-conference thing could happen, and sooner rather than later.
One thing I hate is that I still don't think of Arkansas and South Carolina as SEC teams.
I would also wonder about scheduling. We must play Georgia every year. I couldn't do without that. I would also like us to play Florida and Tennessee every year again, but I can't see that happening.
I would love to have Georgia Tech on our permanent schedule.
It ain't gonna happen.
We played Georgia Tech in one of the games that was most likely to give me a heartattack.
It was 1984. We won the game 48-34. Pepper Rodgers was the Georgia Tech head coach.
Why the heart attack? We were up 35-0 at halftime, if I recall correctly.
I hope the big ten just talks Notre Dame into the conference and stays at 12.
I do not think 16 team conferences work very well. Two 8 team subdivisions would keep teams from playing the other half regularly and would stretch out all rivalries beween the subdivisions. Every year rivalries like AU vs Ga and Ala vs Tenn would disappear.
I would love to swap back Ga. Tech and South Carolina.
We could go to four four-team divisions ... play the teams in your division twice ... play the other teams once ... and have an 18 game schedule ... the four division winners could meet in the SEC semis at home sites, then the winners meet in the title game in ATL for the title game, then the winner advance into the brand new four team playoff of super conferences ... the winner of that playoff represents the colleges in the Super Duper Bowl against the NFL champion.
With a super conference, we would probably play Florida and Tennessee even less, barring Title games. Plus, UGA may be taken off the permanent schedule.
I know it's probably not gonna happen anytime soon, but I vote for never.
Switching South Carolina and Georgia Tech would make a lot of sense. At one time, our series with Georgia Tech was one of the longest in the nation.
I wish Pat Dye had gotten his wish and we were in the Eastern Division.
And one of the best rivalries. It always seemed like a natural to me.
I vote with E-Bro. Leave it alone. Why do they always have to change things?
Most things change.
Some don't.
Like UAT being a bunch of cousin humpers.
12 is too many, any more than 12 is WAAAYYYY too many. It's already been done and failed miserably.
WAC expanded to 16 and before you could blink, the original WAC (mostly) formed the MWC.
2.0's plane landed at Dulles 12 minutes ago. WootWoot!
Tie? Ascot? Suit? I have no idea what y'all were talking about.
a very nice ring!
"Auburn beats Alabama for top center"
"Auburn beats Alabama for top center"
"Auburn beats Alabama for top center"
"Auburn beats Alabama for top center"
"Auburn beats Alabama for top center"
"Auburn beats Alabama for top center"
"Auburn beats Alabama ........" you can just fill in the blanks and it still has a nice ring.
WTC, how strong are those rumors of Big Ben to Oakland?
"Auburn beats Alabama in Thanksgiving canned food drive"
I'm heading to Toomer's!!
NFL Scouts down on LSU Football players...
LSU Players not cutting it????
I have a scheduling philosophy that would work better for 16 teams and actually better than what we have for 12 teams.
You have to play each member of your division. Only division games count towards getting to the SECCG.
You have to play one other game on SEC kickoff weekend, a new major event. On that weekend you play the team that finished in the same place as you in the other division. Obviously one of the games would be a re-match of the SECCG, but the others would be competitive. I love this idea.
Forget about the rotating crap. Forget about the one permanent crap. Play whoever else you want from the other half of the SEC or out of conference.
In this scenario, you would have 6 mandatory SEC games each year with a twelve team league. If we expanded to 16 teams, it would be 8 mandatory games.
Then we can schedule anyone who wants to play us, like Florida, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, and Georgia. None of those games would count towards the SECCG, but who gives a rip. Win your division and you go.
And this would work for the football challenged schools, such as Vanderbilt. They could schedule half their games out of conference.
Eddie, I believe you meant to say,
"Auburn beats Alabama and NFL Scouts down on LSU football players"
I have a scheduling philosophy...Don't expand to 16 teams.
"Auburn beats Alabama and Only division games count towards getting to the SECCG."
assuming 2 divisions, that would only be 5 conference games in 12 team conference and 7 in a 16 team conference, unless an intrasquad scrimmage counts.
Langford Presser is being supposedly setup with a big Orange and Blue look to it.
Forget all about that macho **** and learn how to play guitar.
Exactly, THT. No more of this rotating crap or everyone has one permanent opponent crap. That is naturally unfair to schools who have a good permanent opponent.
The west champ should be the one that wins the most west games.
We would be able to play top notch opponents outside the division and not be penalized for it.
And the SEC kickoff weekend would be huge. Bama playing Florida again, LSU playing Georgia, ..., Vandy playing Ole Miss. All of the games would be competitive.
Of course, if the kickoff weekend opponent was already on your schedule, you shuffle things a bit, but we could hire Dew, Cheatem, and Howe to figure that out.
Play guitar!
WDE Langford...welcome home.
New thread UPZ.
how long will mega-conferences last? I say they'll be gone by 2022.. actually, that's more hope than prediction.
