Overview of Practice Thirteen (8/13)
Hey everyone. I did not attend the Tigers' afternoon workout. I instead knocked out a few stories for our big preseason section, which will drop next week. Details to come later.Still, I knew a few things that happened during Auburn's afternoon session.
- QBs Kodi Burns and Chris Todd were held out of most passing drills becuase, as coach Tommy Tuberville said, they've thrown too many passes lately. Seems reasonable.
- That means QBs Barrett Trotter and Neil Caudle went man-against-man for the No. 3 spot. Tuberville hedged his bets on that one, though, saying both players looked strong.
- TBs Brad Lester and Ben Tate didn't participate fully this afternoon. Tuberville said they're simply resting in advance of the Big Scrimmage on Saturday.
- Auburn's next practice is set for 4:15ish tomorrow. It could be 8 a.m. I'm planning to attend and provide a full slate of insightful coverage.

Reggie Hunt as of today per Tubs...

Hey Jay, why do you think he's out and CTT thinks "he's got a great chance"?
Tuberville obviously thinks Hunt's test scores and core GPA are up to snuff. I think it's fair to say the NCAA doesn't agree ... or at least isn't convinced just yet.
Either way, I mean, the kid has zero chance to touch the field this year. He didn't participate in voluntary workouts and has missed 15 total workouts with the team.
Does the NCAA suck? Maybe.

Hunt will not play. No doubt about that. The juiciest comment Coach Inconsistent said was that Hunt could play corner! How 'bout them apples?
Hunt is not a corner. He's a squatty, north and south running back with a quick burst.
The word 'chance' per Thomas Hawley means a lot of different things. It's his buzz word for 'I'm not really sure what to say right now, but catfish sure sounds good'.

Sweetest infomercials this early are hosted by products endorsed by Chuck Norris and Wesley Snipes...oh, and Enzyte has a lot of slutty chicks claiming this pill makes their man "big".

Crudup, that's some quality stuff right there. The catfish comment; not the slutty Enzyte gals.
CTT is desperate for corners. Maybe Caudle could line up over there?
Caudle needs a home for sure.
