Fourth quarter, LSU 26-21
- LSU 26, AUBURN 21: Brandon LaFell catches an 18-yard pass from Jarrett Lee. Drive covered 54 yards in seven plays. Auburn's defense is looking overmatched now.
- AUBURN 21, LSU 20: Chris Todd hits Robert Dunn on a flag route in the endzone for a touchdown. Drive was 74 yards in five plays. The big play was a 58-yard pass to Tim Hawthorne. That shows some guile.
Now it's on the defense. Period.
- LSU 20, AUBURN 14: Colt David hits a 32-yard field goal to cap a 76-yard drive. Here are the distances of LSU's first four plays of the drive: 12, 9, 18, 31. Can't blame the offense for that.
- Chris Todd loves those floater passes, no?

To quote Pennywise, the dancing clown,
"They float down here. They all float."
just give kodi one drive.
LSU lit us up in the 3rd.
Jay G.,
Do we look tired on Defense or are they just whipping us up front?
No way Kodi Burns sees any playing time tonight.
The O and D lines are getting beat. We probably can't score without Kodi.
That 4th and 1 call, I have no idea what we were thinking.
Just line up and get your 1 yard.
If Todd had any zip on the ball, no way we are trailing right now.
However, the D is getting pushed around right now.
LSU has 235 yards this HALF ... so far.
Here are LSU's last few plays:
11, 33, 23, 22, 12, 9, 18, 31, 0, 0
If the o-line is getting beat, how can we score even with Kodi? Is he gonna run and break tackles behind the line every play?
Tub said at his halftime talk with Quentin that he felt we could shut LSU out in the 2nd half.
So much for being over confident in the D.
anyone think the offense has it in them?
I sure hope so, but it'll almost have to be with the pass, I doubt LSU is gonna let us rush at all.
I think the offense will do something here. Not sure it'll be enough. A touchdown is a tall order for this group, you know?
tall, tall order
that is what we needed
Auburn had LSU all befuddled there on third down ... and couldn't get the snap off. Lost a big advantage there.
OH YES!
WOW!
74 yds in a 1:47...wow!
I hope this defense can stand tall
robert dunn is a great talent..... glad to see it start to show... a bit of a tease early last year until a few drops / overthrows on slot plays that were / shoudl be tds...... far more consistent in this offense
Here comes the crowd. It's remarkably loud.
It's gettin' tight!
that clock is running
Repeat of last year
One more drive to win it.
This is probably the best thing for Auburn considering the situation.
At least the offense has a legit chance to win the game. Had that last LSU TD drive not happened, Colt David would have won it with a 25-yard FG with time expired.
Big penalty
Major sack and majorly wrong time.
A yard shy.
That's it folks.
Thanks for the hard work tonight, JGT.
Goodnight folks.
well the only silver lining is not having to hear mike patrick say things like, "chris todd did great to keep that play alive and get 23 of the 25 yards."........ hey mike, what about missing robert dunn who had a 6 yard circle around him with no lsu players in it?
I still question Franklin, 4th and 1 close to the redzone and run a pass play with a Todd floater.
Then we get the ball back to try to milk the clock and we only run a min off the clock.
The praise of Todd by the announcers was strange.
He overthrew a wide open Robert Dunn by 10 yards, that would have kept the game going.
Plus, whatever happened to Lee Ziemba???
