Was that a new interview with Franklin?
They are all starting to look the same.
It's from Sunday ... that's why I labeled it "Tony Franklin's Greatest Hits".
Gotcha.
His interviews are like listening to a drunken uncle by a campfire.
from chris low's espn sec blog
"Vanderbilt 20, Auburn 13: Vanderbilt has been so good at finding ways to win games this season, be it on special teams or creating key turnovers. Auburn is still struggling to find itself offensively and is coming off three tough, physical games. The Commodores get the Tigers at a good time and are riding a huge wave of momentum. The key for Vanderbilt will be stopping Auburn's running game and putting it in Chris Todd's or Kodi Burns' hands. Get ready for a party in the Music City, because the Commodores are about to go to 5-0."
seriously?!? does he really think Auburn D will allow a Vandy win? I know Vandy has a pretty good team, but its not gonna happen.
Jay, thoughts?
Vandy is last in yards gained AND yards allowed. And they haven't really played anybody yet.
If Auburn limits turnovers, I think it'll be ... a clear win for Auburn.
Jay,
Is it just me or have we all just about gotten feed up with the "wow is me" statements from CTF. I mean just shut up and coach..... stop making execuses.... you know some one once said "execuses, excuses the gd#$ excuses.... excuses only satisfy those that use them"
Trust me many AU & HOTTIE fans are tired of his answers no matter how well intentioned...
Shut up and coach!!!!
Tony and Todd both should stop whining and moaning and act like men.
The Borges offense may have ticked up a few notches this year with the players that we have being the best collection since '05 (offensively). But I've got to say this. The last two years fans were crying about us not operating from shotgun enough because it was obvious Cox was better that way. He had a very quick and smooth release, and good vision 9 or 10 out of 12 games a year. I'm one of those fans, too.
So, now we're in a completely different boat going a completely different boat going the same direction.
Sideways.
Sorry.
Typos.
*Meant to say different boat/same direction.
You know, I want CTF to succeed, if maybe only he is from Kentucky. I think he needs to back up and realize there are still ways to keep his ideas going, but adapt.
To dominate and win, I think the adage of L'audace, l'audace, toujours l'audace (audacity, audacity, always audacity) is appropriate. Fortune does favor the bold.
Jermiaine Johnson could help. He made his needed score. You can add that 5 star OL back to the mix.
I'll believe that when i see JJ in a college game.
