Unfortunately I've got to finish my Christmas shopping as soon as my youngest decides to wake up, so I will probably miss the campfire. Probably just as well. They are rough on my vertigo!

After getting a tattoo that had the word "Boom" in blue over an orange colored heart a few weeks ago, I've decided no more ink for a while.
Chizzle still doesn't trust me.
I see on Auburn Undercover where Whitt Sr expects Chizik to have his staff in place by Jan. 5th. That says, to me, that he is waiting on bowl games to get over. It also makes me wonder if he is going after an OC from one of the teams in the later bowls, maybe even Oklahoma. This should be interesting.
75% of the older people with Tat's I've asked said if they had it to do over again - they wouldn't. That was enough for me.

Hey Scott in Tusc, once flesh reaches 70, it is typically not as fetching as it used to be....tattoed or not.
I think Joe Whitt Sr. was at the b-ball game last night. He was sitting on the 2nd level in the corner over by where Jay and the other writers set up shop.
Hopefully I will be on the road to Alabama during the campfire. I am going to be out of town for a week over the holidays.
I am working on converting my tat too "Boom Chizzle Chizzle."
Who am I kidding? I have no tat ... other than the reverse Riddell still imprinted in my chin from not watching for the crackback block often enough in practices and in games.

On the bowl game the other day they credited Southern Miss' best win of the season over Lousiana Lafayette.
Around 60 teams made bowls, that doesn't mean I want Auburn in competition with them for talent.
I mean, I guess we can move to Troy or Southern Miss' conference so we are competing for players at the same level and for the same bowl games if we want.
I want to win players in a battle with Alabama, LSU, Georgia and Florida. That's just me.
You know Steve that last comment you made DID sting a bit.
If we played Southern Miss or Troy's schedule we would be in a bowl game too.
Seriously almost any team that's 6-6 gets in one.
Vandy got in a bowl from the SEC, that doesn't mean I want to trade talent with them...or even be in competition for the same players they can get.
I am "friends" with Kenny Irons on facebook, and his status is, "Kenny Irons is 5 more days till I'm poppin bottles on the beach to bring in the new year and a new team."
Anyone know his injury status? Will he actually get on a new team? And why is he going to the beach in December?

He has latent Aubie tendencies. He is unable to reconcile his innate sense of what is good and right in the world (Auburn) with the evil his family of origin thrust upon him as a child (bama). Camping out on the HABOTN eases the anxiety created by the shame he feels over his Auburn desires.
There is only one path to recovery and it begins with a click of the heels and whispering, "War Eagle..."
I watched some of Troy's offense. It amazed me. I was like, hmmm, that is what we were trying to do. Both Troy and Southern Miss are good football teams, but definitely not SEC level, although either is capable of occasionally knocking off an SEC opponent. Southern Miss has a history of doing that and Troy has been tough in recent years.
Faker, repeat after me, "War Eagle"!!! Just keep repeating that.

Michael, I was watching something on ESPN today and they were discussin the 7 RBs (soon to be 8) that Denver has gone through this season due to injuries. I couldn't help but think that a guy like KI would fit in there somewhere. I mean he's no Peyton Hillis (<--sarcasm), but you'd think they'd take a look at him.

I saw that too. I am intrigued by a few of those names, but a few of them make me nervous. Herring would be interesting, I would not mind seeing that. Wasn't Roof the guy at Duke that they ran off? Prince is an interesting mention, and I always liked Trooper Taylor at Tenn.

Trooper Taylor, while a graduate of the Muschamp College of Sideline Demeanor, would be an excellent staff member, but I don't know if he's coordinated before. If he is at OK State, he's really not, because Gundy is.

You can usually find Jet in Jos. A. Bank blazer/slacks or suit.
Today, navy blazer, Ralph Lauren dark blue and green button down, dark brown cordouroy slacks and loafers.
But for the campfire, an Auburn Santa hat, a blue T-shirt that says "Guns Don't Kill People, Eltoro Kills People" and AU gym shorts.
And I'll be using FSJ's tibia as a stick to roast marshmellows.
What's wrong with the beach in December. I've been this month, and didn't see a problem, considering it was 80+ degrees out and sunny. Sounds like beach weather to me.

Trooper Taylor Co OC Okl St.: Fantastic recruiter, coached WR at Tennessee and RB's at OSU, never called plays.
Greg Davis: Not sure if there is any intrest but rumors he was not happy being by passed by Boom. IMO He would be the best choice if possible.
Ron Prince: Smashmouth offensive coach like Chizik wants. Hes young 39.
Ted Roof: Done a fantastic job turning around Minn's Defense this season has experiance as Grad Asst. at Bama and as DC at GT and Duke.
