More from Sunday's post-practice scene
Hey everyone. Since there isn't anything of note happening on the Plains today, let's take a deeper look at the topic being discussed on Sunday night.
- Defensive coordinator Ted Roof again heaped praise on OLB Craig Stevens. I've always found this off. Will Muschamp used to gush over Stevens. The praise was slightly less effusive from Paul Rhoads, but it was clear he liked Stevens. It's confounding to me; I rarely notice Stevens at all.
Muschamp always told me that Stevens' long arms give him an advantage when shucking blocks. I get that. What I don't get is how I never see Stevens make a big play. Do you?
"He’s a salty veteran, is what he is," Roof said. - Roof said MLB Joshua Bynes needs to be more physical. The junior-to-be isn't known for his hitting at this point and Roof wants that to change. ``That’s where he’s got to improve in his game, and I thought he made a stride today to do that. He got better today. That's the goal."
- Here's how Roof grades his players: "We've got three grades for every play -- you can get a two, one or a zero. A two means you’ve done your assignment and you used good technique. A one means you got your assignment but you didn’t use good technique. A zero means you didn’t get your assignment done. You add up the number of points you have divided by the number of plays and that’s how you get your grade."
- So who has the highest grades? "I think Craig Stevens has been a good producer for us," Roof said. ``I think our safeties have done a good job, Mike McNeil. Of course, Zac is not in contact but he’s doing a good job. I’ve been really pleased with Zac Etheridge."
- G Byron Isom confirmed reports that Onterio McCalebb, perhaps the most reserved interviewee I've ever met, is actually hyper on the field. "Yeah, I see it a lot. I saw it out over there today. I like seeing that out of him. He should be a big emphasis on our offense right now."
- Add Isom to the list of players who weren't happy with Franklin's insistence that the offensive line lose weight last season. "Ut was a big surprise, but we just went ahead with it. We were undersized a lot last year. Most of the time we were outweighed by 20-30 pounds going against those big d-tackles in the SEC. It came into play a lot."

I'm so angry
About a 10+ speeding ticket?
PF, I was going 62 one time and the cop said I was going 70. Boy oh boy, was I ever angry about that.
Yes, but I don't think I was going 10. There was no allegation of a +. If it was anywhere else, I'd only be upset, but the location was BS. Past all residential area about a quarter mile from the gate, and on a private road that was not payed for, nor maintained by state funds.
that's only the second time I've used that gate, too. The gate I usually go out of is in a 45 mph zone. I don't understand the difference.
When the quota's down they will nail you for +3 anything over can give you a ticket
Only had a minute got to go see you hotties later
Maybe the cop is a HOTTIE.
I admit it. The cop was me. My bad.
if the cop's a HOTTIE, we need to talk.
Just doing my job.
A high school picture of Dirty.->
I like the graffiti in the background.
Daaaaam, you go girl.
Ain't old pictures fun?
Old Jan Terri pictures are the best.
Whenever I see that pythons are running rampant in the everglades in the news, they act like it is a bad thing. I think pythons are awesome, and the more python/alligator fights that occur, the better.
Milk, I actually saw the video that your pic is from on VH1 Classic last week. I was having very divided emotions of coolness and lameness as I watched.
should i add pythons to the list of animals I will never be eaten by? are they that big of a threat?
After Will's my vein was too big story, I'm rethinking my plasma donation scheme to raise money for Relay for Life. Anyone want to buy a kidney?
I'm sure your dirty sister is going to LOVE you for that, Monica!
I don't know. The one that is causing problems (or awesomeness depending on who you ask) is the Burmese python. People get them as pets, they get too big, then they are released. So yeah, they could eat a dude... if the dude were a sissy!
ehyou, you should check out her other videos on youtube. There are even worse videos than "Losing You."
despite my fear of being eaten by animals and heights. A sissy I am not. I also dislike bees
I'm scared of hummingbirds.
Burmese pythons can officially eat humans:

(since internet sites are official)
they're as official as anything.
I am not scared of anything in the entire world except for puppets, and I consider this a healthy fear.
Since this is an internet site, I think now is as good a time as any to announce I am officially the King of Eurasia.
My first order of business is to announce the King of Eurasia will wear a beerhat in lieu of a crown. Make it so, number 1!
i went to b'ham this weekend for a wedding. In 5 points, Bell Bottoms is now called Uranus. I did not go into Uranus, but I did look in Uranus quite a bit. Uranus scares me.
If I ever see a fat lazy puppet poaching people in my neighborhood, it will most certainly be hurt.
I'm not familiar with Birmingham, but I can connect with your broader message: change. Change can be a good thing, but it can also be bad. It can also be coins in your pocket, or the act of getting a basketball back after you make a shot. All that to say that Uranus, as far as planets go, is not all that special.
Puppet poachers are our neighborhoods' biggest dangers these days, Bummer.
Mon - Are all the pictures in a shoebox? And how is Dirty?
Puppet poachers are not welcome here.
The sad thing about puppet poachers is that due to their existence, a proper name can't be given to people who nobly hunt and kill puppets illegally. They just have to be called "people who poach puppets" or something long winded like that.
So Michael, as royalty, are there no puppets in Eurasia?
And I am glad that you are King of your Castle.
there has to be puppets. every hero has to have a villain. Plus, what would we talk about all day. The BC coaching situation? Twitter and Facebook?
Well, since this is the internet and it is official, I formally announce here that puppets no longer exist in Eurasia. There, that felt good.
There are still plenty of puppets in America, Harrison. Just not Eurasia.
Alright, I am out. Keep the dreams alive and your hopes on fire.
Video being uploaded now.
Harrison, you are right ... Every cowboy movie needs a guy in a black hat.
My 2nd grade daughter had to do a project on planets last week. When I asked her what planet she wanted to research, she said Uranus. Inwardly I chuckled. I asked her why and she said,"Because Mrs. "C" just love, love, loves Uranus." I cried I was laughing so hard.
j-z I just busted out laughing.
Reminds me of when my daughter heard testicles on a news story and just kept saying it to sound it out.
My wife and I had to leave the room.
yes shoe box and she's doing great!
We're meeting in Chattanooga on April 24 and 25 for some family fun.
3rd greatest headline ever: Voyager II moves toward Uranus
I think we all know how painful that would be.
Upload has finished. Yay. Only took 30 minutes.
I appreciate the Uranus and testicle stories.I thought my story about Uranus was going unnoticed. I'm glad you guys are as immature as I.
New video up.
Eltoro Freeman alert is in effect.
