Auburn baseball still streaking
Hey everyone. In an continuation of Friday's delayed game, Auburn beat Alabama 3-1 early this afternoon. That is the Tigers' second win of the series and ended the Crimson Tide's conference championship hopes.
The rivals play the series' final game today as well. That game starts at 3 p.m.

Good, clean page.
I heard Lou Holtz was coming to CGD now, Eddie.
Sensi- Even more reason to not watch it. Last time I check, Lou Holtz was the Senator from Florida, correct?
Sensi...
The ultimate steak topper in my opinion is "Southern Flavor".
If Lou Holtz is on College Game Day, I'm out.
I do watch it every week.
Mom ...
Sounds like our existences are the same. 3-4 competitions in the fall, practice, practice practice. Our kids are performing in ATL and Indy this year.
How do you prep it,eh?
ehyou - that "Southern Flavor" is indeed some excellent stuff. Straight from the metropolis that is Demopolis as I recall.
Jet-
Atlanta= Regional's
Indy= National
My brother and sister both did band and they went to Atlanta and Indy every year. I had the (mis)fortune of going for one of those in Atlanta.
Indianapolis? Jet, that is most impressive.
ElTurbo plays the drums, I know. Do you have other children playing as well?
Does your school also host a competition?
Should I even ask what show they are doing this year?
Best way to cook a steak is the easiest way for me. I brush mine with some olive oil and then put some Montreal steak seasoning on there and then grill 'em to medium.
Charcoal or gas?
I do prefer charcoal, but I'm not a nazi about it like some folks. Gas cooked steaks can be tasty too.
Charcoal.
Being the daughter of a German immigrant, I'll pass on the Nazi part.
I like mine over extremely high heat for a short time. It chars a crust on the outside and leaves the middle nice and pink.
Eddie ...
At ATL last year, I sat up in the club level, watching football in the lobby all day and night. Mrs. Jet none too impressed.
Mom ...
ElTurbo graduates tonight. Still trying to decide if he'll try out at AU. Stewardess is the color guard co-queen, and plays flute in concert.
Wow, I'm really hungry now.
Is 11:40 too early for lunch? I don't think so. Later.
Mom ...
I don't know. It'll be tough to top the last two.
Me too, ehyou.
Ehyou is right about steak ... high heat, char it and make it bloody inside.
AUSon loved the AU band but it was exhausting. He needed to set out the freshman year (health reasons. He became diabetic the spring of his freshman year) and has not been able to work it back into the schedule.
His buddies at Clemson are still marching but they march in the afternoon instead of noon.
I HATE BAMMER!
Just needed the mid-morning affirmation.
Jet, what were the last two shows?
Correction: AUSon marched his freshman year. He chose to sit out his sophomore year (with parental approval).
Mom ...
Elturbo has flipped and flopped about trying out for the AU band ... He was going to do it, and was taking private lessons to sharpen up. Then he decided no.
But I've been hearing the marimba upstairs filling the house with music again lately, so I'm guessing we may moving back toward yes.
Mrs. Jet and I are just trying to make it through tonight.
Mom ...
I'll send you something via FB, as not to further the band yap on HABOTN.
I like a good steak as well as the next person, maybe more, but I think PF Chang will see me for lunch.
Jet- Turboprop would make a good Auburn Football Manager. He should look into that if interested.
Eddie ...
I think his true skill set is psychotic fan, but I could see him in sports info, or something like that.
What's his intended major, Jet?
Aerospace Eng.
Steep. That's a challenge for sure, but worth it.
I killed the thread
Mr. S ...
I think we worked so hard to push over 200, then we didn't have any gas left.
Looks like we need to spend some time conditioning with Coach Yox.
Indeed, Jet.
hey folks, don't take the al.com bait.
you may as well do meth if you want your brain to rot.
i've been reading pay site forums to watch all the speculation surrounding bammer cheating. it is mostly present on AU boards but these guys are also linking to items on UT, michigan, ohio state, florida etc. boards concerning bammer recruiting practices which are also being bammer trolled. it's funny to watch someone with a handle like "AUlover4ever" show up and defend bammer and say there is nothing to any of it.
they claim $aban has been turned in to the sec and ncaa over 100 times since his arrival at UAT for unethical recruiting. mainly surrounding "bumping" which facilitated "the $aban rule" which is why chizik couldn't be part of the tiger prowl. HCs cannot leave campus for spring evaluations anymore thanks to shorty.
the ringleaders in all this sound very confident and surprisingly credible that something is going to happen eventually. they like saying "it's bigger than memphis" to put it in perspective. i'll believe it when i see it in the national media and listen to the ncaa press conference announcing sanctions. until then, just wishful thinking and reading.
?yadot remmab a detah uoy evah
google mario fannin's escalade.
it's obviously a poorly photo-shopped fake.
this is some of the retaliation that bammer is spitting out to deflect attention. numerous people around AU know MF drives a older honda accord with GA plates. one even posted a pic of him in it.
one must wonder why they are being so defensive if there is nothing to defend...
Norm,
Southern Flavor is made in beautiful, on it's way to becoming a ghost town, Selma, AL. A friend of mine is one of the partners in the company and I still don't get any free. That's what happens when an attorney goes into the food business.
The really ironic thing about it is that his last name is McCormick. Seriously. On a down note, he's a 2 time bammer grad.
New thread up.
