He's the best football player in the country. He and Danny Wuerffel will go down in history as the two best quarterbacks."
- Spurrier said that in 17 years, he's never filled out a preseason All-SEC team ballot. "Head coaches do not know a lot about other teams."

I would not have apologized nor felt bad like Steve says that he did. You can vote for whomever you damn well please, if the guy who voted wanted Snead on there then leave it. That is stupid.
Why wasn't Steve filling out his own ballot?
I think it's stupid because there is no fault in my opinion. Snead was better head to head. Big Deal!

The poll is a separate issue. I'm not a fan of the poll (of course not, I'm an Auburn fan) ... but it's a useless endeavor to pick the 5 best OL -- many times regardless of position.
The poll is at least in the context of measuring teams against teams, rather than building some casserole out of parts of teams.
