Hey everyone. We have arrived at the first Sunday of the "year," which means we're making progress. Two-a-days begin tomorrow and, soon, school will start. That's when I start feeling the season's arrival.Weather here is sunny and warm. Practice is a go.

TODAY'S SCHEDULE
Practice is expected to start around 4:50 p.m. I'll be there. The first 4 periods are open to reporters, so I'll be producing a video (likely quarterback cut-ups) and probably a photo gallery.

Tough Man U loss in the FA Community Shield this morning.
Chelsea did concede an equalizing goal during the final minute, so I felt good about that.

Jay, could you find out a bit about the ice pack that Todd is wearing. Is it for the shoulder or arm? Is it due to the shoulder surgery? It looked like it covers his entire arm.
Really enjoyed the article on Eltoro in the MA this morning, Mr. Tate. I even read it in an honest to goodness newspaper. It sounds like the kid has a good head on his shoulders. In particular, I like the fact that he realizes he still has things to learn.
