1st half, Auburn @ LSU

Welcome to the first half of Auburn's game at LSU.

AUBURN POSSESSION ONE: PUNT. Auburn had a 4th-and-1 ... then was called for offsides. That's a wrap.
LSU POSSESSION ONE: TOUCHDOWN. Terrance Tolliver 14 pass from Jordan Jefferson. PAT kick good. Drive covers 83 yards in eight plays. Auburn was called for three penalties: Pass interference on Neiko Thorpe, personal foul on Zac Etheridge and encroachment on Nick Fairley.
AUBURN POSSESSION TWO: PUNT. Three and out. Not much going on there.
LSU POSSESSION TWO: MISSED FIELD GOAL. 49 yards. It's Josh Jasper's fault.
AUBURN POSSESSION THREE: FUMBLE. Chris Todd sacked from the blind side, lost the ball.
LSU POSSESSION THREE: Jordan Jefferson 15 scramble. PAT kick good. Drive covered 17 yards in three plays.
AUBURN POSSESSION FOUR: INTERCEPTION. Chris Hawkins got it for LSU. It was a really nice catch and a really poor decision on the throw.
LSU POSSESSION FOUR: FUMBLE. Jordan Jefferson fumbled at the two (caused by Zac Etheridge) and Craig Stevens recovered in the endzone.
AUBURN POSSESSION FIVE: Four-and-out. Nothing going on. Todd is indecisive.
LSU POSSESSION FIVE: PUNT. Jordan Jefferson was pressured for the first time.
AUBURN POSSESSION SIX: Auburn was moving, got into a 2nd-and-19 situation (on another Chris Todd fumble) and it was over.
LSU POSSESSION SIX: PUNT.
AUBURN POSSESSION "SEVEN": Philip Pierre-Louis fumbles the punt return and LSU recovered.
LSU POSSESSION SEVEN: FIELD GOAL. 32 yards. Josh Jasper has no problem with it. Drive covered 22 yards in six plays.

Boulware didn't choose the players he has to work with. Judge him when he has his players to work with. When you make a head coaching change you have to give the new staff at least 4 years to get the players they need. To criticize them for the play of players they did not recruit is foolish.; 8:16 PM

I wish I could expect more but it's like Jay G. said, this year is really all about next year. That's what this season is.

Please y'all, these kids are giving it their all. It's what Eddie said about Tuberville. I think it is his coaching staff's fault for the predicament we are in.......and yes I'd like to jerk a knot in Tuberville for leaving us in this condition but it's not Roof's fault. He is not a magician. We are paper thin. It's all he can do to hold them together. I personally think he is doing the best he can with what he has to work with.

Unfortunately the offense is not clicking either. It is not this coaching staff's fault or the players either.

WE have to suck it up and stand by them and hope that the future holds more. At least some of these kids are getting valuable experience. I just hope that the coaches can get these kids to keep their heads on straight and keep their confidence from going totally south.

I get physically sick when we do badly. It affects everything about me because I love Auburn so much. I take it really, really hard but I have come to understand, it is what it is.

I have not forgotten the nightmare of last year. It didn't take one year to get us in that shape and it is going to take more than one year to build it back.

I'm sorry I just get sick of everybody blasting these kidsand coaches. We are not world beaters.

Quit hating on them. Have some patience and a little faith for crying out loud..

I can recall my hometown buddy Gabe Gross not being able to get in the endzone from the one yrd line against UT four times in a row, we were soooo bad. Every fan base across america look for people to blame when things are going wrong. The coaches are paid to put a winning product on the field, so they are the first targets.

That being said I haven't seen anyone calling for the coaches head, outside of boulware.
