Radio Appearance Forthcoming

Hey everyone. I will be doing my weekly segment on SuperSport 930 out of Jackson, Miss., in a bit. That extravaganza will begin around 9:05 a.m. CDT.

We'll be talkin' Auburn and other stuff. You know how it goes.

Please enjoy.

UPDATE: I will only be doing one segment this morning because I'm doing stuff at my daughter's school. So it goes.

I think it was about a year ago during your first stint, prior to your extended hiatus. What did you do during your hiatus? Learn to sew?

Boy, this blog really exploded now that I am leaving.

Harrison, name the cat the same name as your wife just to confuse things.

Did I just see a Jack Handy quote?

where are you going?

Scott chocolate, if you release the puppets remember this: puppets don't care whether you released them or not. They will make you bite off your own hand regardless.

i turned the vomit bag on the plane ride to Fayetteville into a puppet just by instinct.

I have a very important appointment with some very important people at a very important place, Harrison.

Also, I still have to go steal some more cats and place them in your neighborhood so you get stuck with even more of them. It's been my little pet project for awhile now.

4:22 PM
Blogger Harrison said...

if you do get some of those half wild/half domestic cats Michael. Those seem pretty cool. thay also coast like 3 grand

4:22 PM
Blogger Scott Chocolate said...

What does the cat look like? I'm thinking you should name it after one of those cool new beers that are available, like Delirium Nocturnum.

4:23 PM
Blogger E-Bro said...

Yeah Michael, I remember. I was Michael4AU then. During my hiatus, I played alot of 360. I was still around, just not posting. I'm on the HABOTN everyday.

4:23 PM
Blogger michael said...

Yeah, but they are free when you steal them Harrison. And since they are part of nature, can anyone really own them anyway? I mean, stealing them is the only ethical thing to do.

I will see what I can scrounge up for ya.

I don't like getting attached to homeless things I take in at the request of someone else. I'd call it stray cat.

My parents almost named me Straycat. True story.

Yes RK, you saw some Jack Handey quotes. I figured why not. It's a sort "When in Rome..." situation, except it was "When in puppet hour on THE HABOTN..."

4:25 PM
Blogger Scott Chocolate said...

You know, there was a really big rash of catnapping around Prattville a year or so ago (according to my wife's more-than-slightly eccentric aunt).

4:26 PM
Blogger Harrison said...

scott..melt some of that chocolate over your nub. It'll stop the bleeding and it'll be delicious

4:26 PM
Blogger Scott Chocolate said...

Yeah, salty and sweet is a great combination. Maybe this is how they came up with that chocolate-covered bacon idea.

4:28 PM
Blogger Peter Frankenschmidt said...

Nothing like a chocolate nub lollipop.

4:29 PM
Blogger Peter Frankenschmidt said...

Choco, do you chocolate covered popcorn? Peterbrook in Florida sells a ton of that stuff. It's awesome.

4:31 PM
Blogger Peter Frankenschmidt said...

I would never kidnap a cat. I hate cats.

4:32 PM
Blogger Scott Chocolate said...

PF, we don't actively market it, but we have made it on request. It is good! I like the chocolate dipped potato chips even better, though.

4:33 PM
Blogger Peter Frankenschmidt said...

I don't like this business of weddings, by the way. It's all kinda ridiculous. Like Waltzing. Why the heck would you want to dance like that? Dancing should be sexy and dirty, the Carolina Shag.

4:34 PM
Blogger Harrison said...

Dancing is the dumbest thing ever, followed by swimming. Seriously, watch people dance one night. It is hilarious

4:35 PM
Blogger Peter Frankenschmidt said...

Choco. Chips? Awesome! I want a bag. Stat. Can you get it the gump so my brother can bring it to me in Vegas next week?

PF, send me an e-mail and I'll see what I can do. The link is on my profile.

About 3:45 someone ask if us old API guys got mad when they changed the name to Auburn. No we didn't, it was a natural.

What many of us asked for and was denied was to change the mascot from Tiger to War Eagle. Thus making for a unique mascot because there were (and are) so many Tigers around.

If any of you are out there, Pitt vs Rutgers is on the four letter network. The University of New Jersey is up 7-0 early.

I miss the logo RU had on their helmets in the late '90s, where the "T" in RUTGERS was a wicked looking dagger.

Cartersville HS sputtered to 3 ugly early season losses to lower tier teams due to no offense. CHS changed QBs, went from a power I back to the single (Delaware)wing and won tonight against a ranked opponent.

Only easy conference games remain and we should make the playoffs for the 11th year out of 13. Won't really go far in the playoffs this year, but should set up well for next year.
