Belated and second-hand scrimmage report
Hey everyone. As discussed earlier in the week, I missed Auburn's first official spring scrimmage today. Sorry about that. It happens.
So here's what I heard and read that piqued my interest:

So here's what I heard and read that piqued my interest:
- Charles Goldberg reported that Cam Newton took more snaps than any other quarterback today. I consider that significant. He apparently connected on one touchdown and was responsible for a fumble.
- Andy Bitter of War Eagle Extra says Philip Pierre-Louis took advantage of an opportunity to make plays ... only to see his day end with another knee injury. The severity of that injury remains unknown. Fellow wideout Travante Stallworth tweeted: "Prayn for my boy."
- The O-A News reported that Auburn High graduate John Sullen filled in at first-team guard because Bart Eddins missed the scrimmage with a knee injury. Asked about Eddins' health on Friday, coach Gene Chizik said: ``There’s no problems there."
- Multiple outlets reported that assistant coach Trooper Taylor was ecstatic about how the Tigers' wideouts performed on Saturday. He praised everyone's blocking effort and said there were no drops. Emory Blake caught a touchdown pass.

What, FSJ, you flip and leave?
I'm still here...
we went for Thai food tonight when MrsTHT got home from work. YUMMY!!! I think it needs to be chased with a bowl of ice cream. SUPER YUMMY!!!
I'm so glad AU won today.
Tht, I made homemade ice cream a couple of hours ago. It was my first time ever. We got an attachment for the Kitchenaid mixer as a wedding gift.
It's turned out awesome. I think it will be even better when it's a little harder so that it will accept toppings or be able to put in a float.
Talledega Nights or the third Lord of the Rings? I'm tempted to watch LotR, even though I feel alseep during the first one and thought the second was dumb.
swAAAAAAAAAAAAAG
Jhag, you ready for next weekend?
Just finished "The Blindside" and all I can say is Wow, what a good movie and even better story.
Eduardo ... I read the book, but haven't seen the movie.
It's an interesting read.
My thoughts on the georgeous paint the commercials say they are putting on the Hyundai Sonata: You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig.
McNabb going to Redskins
McNabb, Campbell, and Tebow competing for a starting job on a dysfunctilonal team should be...entertaining.
Just finished off a couple of fish tacos. Very good. grilled some Talapia tonight. Needed it after the homemade chicken n dumplins today.
Lord of the Rings was great reading, but the movies didn't thrill me.
Let's here it for some coaches and players getting themselves suspended in the baseball game today. Now that is intensity.
I see where we had a visit from a big lineman named Watts Dantzler. I complement the coaching staff on the names they are getting. They are good tough sounding football names.
I hope they trade Jason to someone decent.
PF,
The Return of the King is the best of the three, I think.
Reese Dismukes says he will announce on 04.21.10. He originally was to announce about 3 days after Regions announced. He was supposed to announce his commitment to UAt. He cancelled the announcement back then. His brother played at UAt. his mom graduated from AU. He is a good player. Plays center. 6'3" 275lbs.
A-Day is 4 days before Dismukes announcement date... if he comes to AU for A-day, or goes to uat for their A-day should give an indication of where he's leaning.
Dantzler is a long ways away from making a decision... but he loves Grimes and Chizik... we'll be in it.
Thomas O'Reilly should make his announcement sometime around when Dismukes does... AU has a shot here too.
Also, Jonathon Rose should be close to pulling the trigger
Update: Ice Cream I made earlier is some of the best I've ever had now that it had time to really freeze.
2 announcements...
First, Happy Easter to all of you! I hope you all had a great day and remembered that it's about more than Peeps, eggs, and bunnies.
Secondly, I would officially like to welcome back baseball season! I have missed you. If tonight's game is any indication, we're in for a fun season. Go Cards!
Neil Diamond sounds terrible...
I think the AU student section sounds better than he does singing this... even if I don't really care for the student section singing Sweet Caroline.
Boston pulled out all the old stops. They had Steven Tyler's corpse sing, now Neil Diamond... I think those guys were around before Fenway was built.
Miller,
What are you watching exactly, and what channel is it on?
MLB Opening Day.... Yanks @ Red Sox on ESPN2
PF,
He's watching the Yankees - Red Sox on ESPN2. I personally loved Neil Diamond and Sweet Caroline and I like it when the students at Auburn sing it.
Are these people singing between innings....and it's really a shame that the opening of the MLB season is on the deuce.
And it's been a pretty good baseball game - although I don't like the Yankees or the Red Sox. Come on Cincinnati Reds! And Atlanta Braves!
I thought the same thing. Why didn't it make it to ESPN?
Going to head to bed to watch the last of the game.
Sweet dreams Hottie friends!
Good reading in honor of Opening Day.
Yes... it is sad that this game is on the duece... while UCONN men's (I mean women's) team is pounding Baylor on the Uno...
Reds? You poor thing..
That was a pretty good game. But I hate watching a game where I DESPISE both teams. So glad baseball season is here.
GO RAYS!!!!
Yankees are 1/2 game out of the Wildcard spot. hooray.
BRAVES BABY
I don't think PF ever goes to sleep. He's probably still watching that new TV.
Good morning, Hotties! Off to the elliptical. Maybe I can finish my workout before I really wake up :)
Excellent idea, Cincy! Maybe I exercise in my sleep and don't know it. I certainly don't exercise while I'm awake.
Rise and shine, Hotties!!!
WARRRRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!
Good morning all. I say go Giants (San Francisco Giants that is).
What up Hotties? I hope everyone had a nice Easter and remembers the meaning. I haven't even touched a computer since Friday evening, what have I missed of substance?
Just sprayed the pine pollen off the cars. What a waste of time.
Cut 'em down Jet, j-z might know a guy who could help you with that.
Good morning, Hotties!
Other than the yellow pollen aura, it is a beautiful morning in Montgomery.
We have no pine trees, but we still have pollen.
Go Cards, Braves, Rays, and Biscuits!
And War Eagle!
THT, I sleep....a little.
PF - very little, apparently.
Busy day here at work... I guess that's a good thing other than it cutting into my HABOTN time.
Everybody get your iPads and helmets on... Practice in 15 Minutes!!!
Chris Low is Giving Auburn the Love on the CFB front page over at ESPN.
Wish they had chosen a different name.... iPad is unfortunate....
New pseudo thread UPZ.
oops ..new thread up
